Limitless The Strongest Revenant

Chapter 936: Assistant number 2 [1/2]

At my welcome, only four people were smiling. They were, of course, the women I loved the most. Everyone else, from the Zanele's party to what I believed to be the new clans, gawked at me nervously. Their bodies were tense and seemed on guard.

But I didn't have the luxury or the patience to give a fuck about any of them. My focus remained with the princes as I analyzed their information. I could only use {Insight} on two of them, but their states were similar to Olamide.

"Darling! We are back; we have a gift for you!"

"Thanks, Jo. I like them a lot," I replied, my voice filled with excitement.

Amari and Zanele stepped forward along with a few more people. Their getup suggested they were likely the leaders of the clans that had just arrived.

"Limitless, these are..."

"Save it. I don't really give a shit. This crap is your job and Zanele's. Mine starts and ends with the demons."

With my short reply, I grabbed one of the princes and shouldered him. There was a bag over his face and all his limbs were bound with {Shelter} constructs. From the sound of their breathing, they all seemed to be asleep.

The people following all tried to make a fuse. But Robyn just cleared her throat, and they all backed down. There were about thirty of them, all Phantoms.

"Thank you, Kitten."

"I want a reward!" Robyn begged adorably.

Just as eager, I slipped my arm around my Aussie's waist and pulled her close. After a short kiss, we parted. When I turned to get another possessed prince, the other girls all hid theirs behind their backs.

"It's not like I am being petty, but I had a hard time getting your new toy, Mr. Code."

"Bella, that is a lie, and you know it. You didn't even meet a prince! You only sent the entire Aegis Division and shot everyone with Yellow rounds! Shujin, do not believe her!"

"Hahaha! Darling, Aki was no better! She poisoned everyone and then beat the living crap out of the prince! At least I talked to a prince! Everyone else took them out without so much as a word!"

Seeing my girls joke around, my body felt extremely light. I reunited with the girls and embraced them. Catering to their whims, I gave each of them their rewards as they tried to tell on each other.

'How adorable, so I should take a short break from experimenting.'

As we did, I heard Zanele speak to the other leaders and clans. None of the crap she said was groundbreaking. Just your standard speech of banding together to face a common enemy. The enemy in this case is the tyranny of the {Kindred} families and the Specter Onyebuchi.

Olamide, Amari, and Mia's discussion was far more interesting.

"Little Amari, are those what I think they are? How are they here?"

"Yes, Brother Mide, Limitless is Formless, so he uses guns. It's hard to explain, but his {Kindred} allow him to do almost anything. Some of them are controlling machines and teleporting stuff to and from Hellsgate."

"Then you mean the lord commands these machines on top of the monsters that accompanied us? Do they also not run out of ammunition? What kind of Formless is he?"

"Prince Olamide, Hellsend calls them the Awakened. Roach might not care, but Juno gets angry if you call them as such. And yes, every gun Limitless or Hellsend uses never runs out of bullets. He can practically fight forever."

"I see. So, the lord likes women and guns; I will take note. How did you even meet him, Little Amari? Was he Mia's acquaintance first?"

"Ah no, Prince Olamide, you are mistaken. Limitless like only the Sirens! He hates everyone else! Women even more so. In fact, he shot me during our first meeting. And he threw Amari headfirst into a D-rank Brute."

"Hmm, that sounds like an interesting story. Please share it with me. If I am to serve the lord, I need to know what to do and what not to do."

"Brother Mide, aside from Limitless, do you really intend to leave Africa? Mother and I could really use your help. And what about your fiancée?"

"Prince Olamide Ayotunde died today, Amari. I have no intention of returning to the Ayotunde clan. I truly loved Chi-chi. But our relationship ended when she told me that I should die quickly as she loved someone else."

"What? She said that? When, Brother Mide?"

"I could still hear the voices of others as I suppressed the malice. Chi-chi came to me one evening and told me that I was dragging her down with our engagement. She ranted for a bit and told me to die so she could marry someone from the {Kindred} families."

"As a woman, please let me apologize for her repulsive behavior, Prince Olamide. Not all women are like her, who do not have an inch of loyalty. She is just a bitch!"

"I am aware, Mia. Do not mind it. Also, I found someone who piques my interest, besides my lord Limitless. The Saint who saved me. I believe her name was Aisha? Would either of you know if she is currently with anyone?"

Aside from a possible romance for Aisha, their talks were boring. I didn't bother listening to the next parts as Amari and Mia brought Olamide up to speed.

I instead consulted my chief saint, who was busy directing the rest of the wolves.

"Yo Claire, that side's lookin' mad sus, can you beef it up? Eva, you're the next lit one after Claire and me, so you're on west. Aisha and I got the other two sides. No need for {fates}, just cage it up so nothing bounces. Oh! What's poppin', Patron!"

"Yvonne, why are you still talking like that? Calm down already. {Interpret} lets me talk to foreigners and the Reborn. But it breaks when I try to listen to you," I complained.

'Possum, {Interpret} is shit when you try to understand Aussie, but why are you not calling me out?' Robyn teased as she leapt on top of me.

'That's because Australian English is not a real language, Robyn. Shujin, why not try to learn Japanese? You like it better than any other language, right? You will be able to watch anime and hentai without subtitles!'

'Why are you even trying to compete in Aki? Darling! Forget learning a language; {Interpret} is my {Fate}! Shouldn't I get something since it turns you into a polyglot?'

'Now, hang on, if it's a competition of {Fates}, Mr. Code, it's not even a contest! Nothing can beat {Code} and {Program}! Heck, even {Connect}, {Calculate}, and {Replicate} are top contenders for best {Fate}!'

If people only heard how the Sirens chatted in my mind, they would understand why I found my girls so adorable. They were like dogs that tried to appeal to me using the silliest reasons. It didn't matter what the thing was; all the Sirens wanted from me was attention and praise.

'Haha. Now, now everyone. Put it on my tab. I will reward you all later after I complete my testing,' I replied to them.

Meanwhile, Yvonne straightened up after my rebuke, "Ah, hehe, sorry Patron. I'll speak normally. We have strengthened the blessing field. Exorcising four princes would take time, even if we used {Eat} to recover."
