At this moment, Malekith was leading the army of the Dark Elves in an assault on Asgard.

They first created chaos in Asgard's dungeon. When the Asgardian soldiers rushed in to contain the disturbance, most of the enemy forces took advantage of the distraction and infiltrated through the Rainbow Bridge.

Luo Bai, of course, sensed all of this.

After quickly assessing the situation, he stated the truth: "The Dark Elves have infiltrated the dungeon. They're destroying the prison and releasing the inmates. Meanwhile, their main forces are launching an attack on the front of the Rainbow Bridge."

Thor frowned and asked skeptically, "How do you know all this so clearly??"

Luo Bai replied calmly, "I saw it."

Of course, even if he hadn't actually seen it, he still knew the plot.

But Thor had no idea about that, which left him even more confused.

"Saw it? How?"

Before Thor could figure it out, an Asgardian soldier rushed over in a panic.

"God of Thunder! There's something strange happening in the dungeon! We need your support immediately!"

After all, they were inside the Asgardian palace, far from both the dungeon and the Rainbow Bridge. How could Luo Bai possibly know what was happening in such detail?

Recently, Odin had explained the significance of the Aether (Reality Stone) to Thor.

He had warned that if the Dark Elves got their hands on it, the Nine Realms would be thrown into chaos.

Knowing this, Thor didn't feel comfortable leaving Luo Bai alone.

Although Luo Bai was clearly strong, the Dark Elves had deployed nearly their entire army. Just to be safe, Thor wanted to take him along.

But Luo Bai had no intention of leaving.

He simply responded, "I don't think the situation is that bad."

Thor looked at him in disbelief. "The Dark Elves are attacking Asgard, and you don't think it's bad enough?"

Just as he finished speaking, a bright yellow portal appeared in mid-air.

Before he could react, a bizarre-looking figure tumbled out of the portal.

The figure landed face-first on the ground.

Thor stared in confusion at the mysterious figure sprawled before him. He pointed and blurted out, "What the hell is that?"

The next second, the "ghostly" figure stood up, seething with rage.

"What the hell?! How dare you call me that?! I am Malekith! I am the ruler of the Dark Elves! You rude Asgardian!!"

"???"

The leader of the Dark Elves?!

Good god!

Thor turned to Luo Bai, eyes wide with shock. "Luo Bai… did you just capture the leader of the Dark Elves?"

Luo Bai nodded with a faint smile. "To defeat an army, you capture its king first."

"…"

Thor was speechless.

He honestly didn't know what to say.

In mere moments, Luo Bai had completely flipped the battlefield. Instead of preparing for a war, he had kidnapped the enemy commander outright.

Thor wasn't the only one left dumbfounded—Malekith himself was equally stunned.

His head buzzed as he took in his surroundings.

Wait… where am I?

Just a moment ago, he had been on his spaceship. So why was he suddenly here?

This… this was Asgard's palace, wasn't it?!

Realization dawned on him, and his expression darkened.

"Did you summon me here?" Malekith demanded in a deep voice.

Luo Bai shook his head and said seriously, "This isn't a summons—it's an arrest. Malekith, you are under arrest."

Malekith: "???"

For a moment, he was stunned. Then, he sneered, as if mocking Luo Bai's words.

"Just you two kids? Arrest me?" Malekith said disdainfully.

But as soon as he spoke, he felt something was off.

"This power… it's familiar… the Aether!" Malekith muttered.

From the moment he arrived, he had already sensed the presence of the Aether.

He had long determined that it was somewhere in Asgard. Fueled by his hatred for the Asgardians, he had gathered his army and launched an all-out attack.

His original plan was to invade Asgard, confirm the Aether's location, and seize it.

But now… he hadn't even needed to look for it—Luo Bai had delivered the Aether right to him!

Feeling the power of the Aether, Malekith's excitement surged. "The Aether! I didn't expect you to bring it straight to me! I—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Thor swung Mjolnir straight into his face.

BANG!

Malekith: "…???"

He stumbled back, his expression twisted in confusion and rage.

He hadn't even finished speaking, and Thor had already hit him?!

Before Malekith could react, Thor impatiently said, "You talk too much."

Malekith: "..."

This time, the hammer crackled with lightning, sending Malekith crashing to the ground.

Without the Aether, Malekith was weak. He couldn't even withstand two direct hits from Mjolnir.

Seeing how easily Malekith was beaten down, Thor couldn't help but complain, "Leader of the Dark Elves? Not so impressive!"

Malekith opened his mouth, as if wanting to say something.

But the next second—

Thor frowned and muttered, "Weak, and also… ugly. Are you sure this thing is an elf?"

Luo Bai nodded in agreement. "I get what you mean. I've always thought elves were supposed to be beautiful. This guy is just… hideous."

The two casually discussed Malekith's appearance as if he wasn't even there.

Malekith was furious.

The weapon shone with a divine radiance.

Malekith froze.

His mind short-circuited.

"Wait… isn't that Odin's weapon?!" Malekith blurted out in shock.

"It was Odin's. Now, it's mine," Luo Bai replied casually. "To be honest, I've never used it before. Lucky for you—I'll use you for practice."

As soon as he finished speaking, he threw the Spear of Eternity.

Malekith's instincts screamed at him to run.

He barely managed two steps—

SHUNK!

The spear pierced straight through his chest.

Malekith was impaled on the Spear of Eternity.

And just like that—he was dead.

With Malekith gone, the Dark Elves had lost their leader.

The rest would be easy to clean up.

Luo Bai recalled the Spear of Eternity and said calmly, "Alright, the leader of the Dark Elves has been dealt with."

Thor, however, was still in a daze.

After all, battles like this had always required time and effort.

But this time, it was different.

From the moment Luo Bai captured Malekith to the moment he killed him…

It had taken just a few minutes.

It was so fast—it was terrifying.

Even now, Thor felt like it wasn't real.

As he fought, a thought crossed his mind—

"Magic is really useful… but why doesn't Loki, who's also a sorcerer, know tricks like this?"

"All he does is turn into a snake and stab people with daggers… Tsk tsk."
