Marvel: My Luck Is A Hundred Million Points Better!

Chapter 88: Chapter 088 A Feast Delivered To Your Door!

"Loki, I'm warning you—stop right now!"

"Don't hit me on the head with an apple core!"

"Where on earth did you learn this magic—&%...&%!!!!"

Thor's furious roar echoed in Luo Bai's ears.

Even though Luo Bai had already returned to Kamar-Taj, he could still hear everything clearly after amplifying the Mind Stone's power.

It wasn't until Thor finally broke down and started cursing at Loki that Luo Bai canceled the "observation mode."

He had already guessed that Loki didn't want to learn teleportation magic for the sake of fighting for the throne—he just wanted revenge.

Well, what could he do about it? Thor had laughed far too happily every time Loki got into trouble.

Those two brothers were really something else.

With a sigh, Luo Bai couldn't help but smile.

He cast a spell, sending the Spear of Eternity into Kamar-Taj's weapon vault. Just as he finished, Wong arrived.

"Supreme Sorcerer, you're back?" Wong greeted with a respectful nod.

Luo Bai nodded in return, but before he could say anything, Wong continued, "You seem to be in a good mood."

Luo Bai chuckled and replied, "I just got back from Asgard and found Thor and his brother having a lot of fun."

Wong raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Why did you go to Asgard?"

"The All-Father invited me over. I just took office, so he probably wanted to get to know me," Luo Bai explained briefly.

Wong nodded, not pressing further, but then his expression turned serious. "Supreme Sorcerer, something happened at Kamar-Taj while you were away."

Luo Bai's expression remained calm as he asked, "Something unusual in the library?"

"Yes. Recently, a group of sorcerers came to borrow books, but their behavior was strange. I had the feeling they were searching for something under the guise of studying," Wong said, his face filled with concern.

Luo Bai didn't respond immediately. His expression didn't change at all.

After all, the moment Wong mentioned an anomaly, Luo Bai had already guessed the likely culprit—Dormammu.

In the original timeline, Dormammu had begun corrupting sorcerers from Kamar-Taj long before his invasion.

Those who fell under his influence absorbed power from the Dark Dimension, eventually unlocking a method to summon Dormammu to Earth.

That was how he had arrived.

But Luo Bai distinctly remembered that this event wasn't supposed to happen yet.

His early arrival could only mean one thing—something Luo Bai had done had accelerated Dormammu's plans.

Most likely, it was due to Luo Bai absorbing dark energy.

He recalled that when he first started learning from the Darkhold, he had sensed something strange.

At that moment, it felt as though he had unknowingly drawn power from multiple dark realms.

If his guess was correct, Dormammu's Dark Dimension had been one of them.

Dormammu must have noticed, which would explain why he was making his move ahead of schedule.

In the past, this would have worried Luo Bai.

But now?

He wasn't worried at all.

In fact, he was excited.

This was… a free meal delivered straight to his doorstep!

However, at this moment, Luo Bai was more concerned about Wong.

As Kamar-Taj's senior sorcerer, Wong was a man of righteousness.

If he realized those corrupted mages were attempting to summon Dormammu, he would undoubtedly try to stop them.

That, of course, would only provoke them—and a battle would be inevitable.

Thinking of this, Luo Bai quickly asked, "What did you do about those mages?"

Wong answered truthfully, "I noticed something was off, so I warned them several times. They haven't returned since."

Just as Luo Bai had expected, Wong had taken action.

Realizing this, Luo Bai immediately said, "If something like this happens again, don't interfere. Let them be."

Wong was taken aback. "Supreme Sorcerer, are you saying we should just ignore them?"

"Yes." Luo Bai nodded.

"What if they take books from the library?" Wong asked rhetorically.

Luo Bai replied calmly, "Then let them take them."

Wong was stunned into silence.

In truth, Wong was quite intelligent and not the type to act recklessly.

If it had been Mordo, he would have immediately started arguing.

However, after thinking for a moment, Wong grasped Luo Bai's intentions and quickly asked, "Supreme Sorcerer, do you want me to let them go and allow them to take whatever books they want?"

Luo Bai didn't hide anything and answered truthfully, "I had already anticipated this, which is why I asked you to watch over the library. I trust you can handle the situation well."

Wong understood instantly and responded with a grin, "Got it. In that case, I'll just sit back, listen to some music, and watch dramas. You won't scold me for that, right?"

Luo Bai replied firmly, "Of course not! Who doesn't slack off at work now and then? Want me to recommend some songs?"

"That'd be great!"

After settling the library matter, Wong returned to his post, ready to "slack off" as planned.

As for Luo Bai, he locked onto Stark's location and teleported there.

At this moment, Tony Stark was conducting experiments in his top-floor lab at Stark Industries.

Luo Bai's sudden appearance caught Stark's attention.

"You're back! So, how was Asgard? Fun?" Stark greeted him enthusiastically.

Luo Bai thought for a moment before smiling. "Not bad. I got something out of it. How's the situation on your end?"

"I already checked out that secret base you mentioned. Just as you said, Killian was conducting human experiments there. I destroyed the base and brought back samples of the Extremis virus they were working on," Stark said.

Luo Bai wasn't surprised. He simply smiled. "So you've already started studying the Extremis virus?"

"I've been researching it for a while and even improved it a bit."

"And? How's it going?"

"Compared to before, the Extremis virus is much more stable—but there are still major issues."

Stark sighed, looking troubled.

"Running into problems?" Luo Bai asked.

Stark nodded. "Yeah. The Extremis virus is incredibly complex. Even if I want to refine it into a safe and beneficial treatment for humanity, it'll take a long time… Right now, it's still unstable."

That was expected.

Given the current level of technology, even Stark wouldn't be able to fully crack the Extremis virus in a short time.

But Luo Bai might be able to help.

"Tony, weren't you interested in magic before?" Luo Bai asked.

Stark raised an eyebrow. "Are you saying you'll teach me magic?"

"I wouldn't say teach, but I can let you experience it firsthand—see if you have any talent for it," Luo Bai replied before pulling out a book and handing it over.

"Take a look at this."

Stark didn't say anything. He simply took the book and glanced at it.

However, as he skimmed through the pages, he quickly realized something was off.

"Wait… this is a magic book?" Stark asked in confusion.

"Of course!" Luo Bai nodded.

Stark's eyes widened in disbelief.

Hold on.

Had he misunderstood something about magic?

He had expected the book to contain spells, incantations, or maybe even magical symbols.

But instead, it was… a book on human anatomy?

"To be honest, this is nothing like what I imagined a magic book would be," Stark admitted after a brief pause.

"This is a book on magical theory. I think it might help with your research on the Extremis virus," Luo Bai explained.

Stark, still in mild disbelief, nodded. "Alright… I'll take a closer look."

With that, he turned his attention back to the book in his hands.

The expression on his face was priceless.
