MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1428: Redeeming Rewards (3)

Whoosh!

————

[Rudimentary Right of Perpetual Generation] (Consumable)

"Do you think people would buy this?" - The Great Kanreban

"I don't see why they wouldn't, Master. After all, who would pass on the opportunity to continue obtaining more benefits from the labyrinth?" - Alpha

"But don't you think I pushed the reduction in rate a bit too much?" - The Great Kanreban

"…It could definitely be better." - Alpha

A consumable made by the great Master of the Great Veldanyr Labyrinth with the sole purpose of allowing those that put in the effort to nurture their territories to continue reaping benefits from it.

Once this item is consumed, the user obtains the most basic right to continue generating Labyrinth Points even after leaving the labyrinth.

Due to the user only having the most basic right, the rate at which Labyrinth Points are generated is reduced to 0.01% of the rate achieved during their stay in the labyrinth.

Cost: 10,000,000 Labyrinth Points

[Note: Better versions of the same right exist, though their effects do not stack. However, these lesser versions are necessary if one aims to obtain said versions.]

"…I presume this is the special item you specifically wanted me to find out?" asked Valyr by the time he was done, giving Alpha a curious look.

"Not that one specifically, but yes… that would be included in the list," replied the puppet, the gears making up its body turning as it continued to talk.

"According to Master, I'm only allowed to make the right you're currently looking at available once a group accumulates 10 times as much Labyrinth Points as the cost needed to obtain that right."

"With the rudimentary right costing 10 million Labyrinth Points to redeem, your group would have needed to accumulate 100 million points by the end of the month before I made the option available."

"Of course, there's not much point explaining that part, considering how your group accumulated over 120 billion Labyrinth Points in the same amount of time." The puppet let out a slight chuckle at those words.

"Anyways, aside from the better versions of that right, there's another right available for you to redeem on the list."

"Now, that one is the one I actually wanted you to find."

"…Oh?" Raising his eyebrows in curiosity, the young man went ahead and scrolled through the list once more, keeping track of the special items he came across that were of the same series as the items he checked before.

Nevertheless, this action was more or less something he did on the side, with most of his attention focused on the right Alpha wanted him to find.

"…Found it."

Thankfully, after passing through three of the improved versions of the special items on the list, Valyr eventually found what he felt was the right the puppet wanted him to look for.

[Bronze Right of Further Transaction] (Consumable)

"…Is there a point to this, Master? Wouldn't all those who participated in the labyrinth be unable to buy anything else with their remaining Labyrinth Points?" - Alpha

"That's normally the case. However… what if I gave them the right to continue producing Labyrinth Points even after they left?" - The Great Kanreban

"…For what reason, though?" - Alpha

"…Let's just say I'm feeling a bit more generous." - The Great Kanreban

A consumable made by the great Master of the Great Veldanyr Labyrinth with the sole purpose of allowing those that put in the effort to nurture their territories to continue reaping benefits from it.

Once this item is consumed, the user obtains the most basic level of accessing to the labyrinth's items, giving them the ability to purchase said items with their leftover Labyrinth Points.

Note that the most basic level of access only gives the user access to 10% of the labyrinth's common item stock and 1% of its rare item stock.

Cost: 10,000,000 Labyrinth Points

[Note: This right can only be obtained by those who have obtained at least the Rudimentary Right of Perpetual Generation.

Also note that better versions of the same right exist, though their effects do not stack. However, these lesser versions are necessary if one aims to obtain said versions.]

"So…" By the time Valyr was done reading through the description, he briefly fell into a pensive expression. "If I'm getting this correctly, the special items you wanted me to find… basically allows me to continue accessing the labyrinth's rewards?"

"Pretty much." Alpha figuratively nodded in agreement. "Master wanted to give those who weren't able to obtain much from the labyrinth at first a second chance after getting out of it."

"Which is why these two rights were created."

"…Question." Listening to the puppet's explanation, a question soon appeared in the young man's mind. "Say I didn't buy any of the upgrades that boosted the territory's generation rate."

"With those two rights, would it be possible to buy those items and increase my generation rate even after I've gotten out of the labyrinth?"

"Nope," replied Alpha, its lower gears turning to briefly make a sound of rejection. "For one, you'd have to personally apply the upgrade items to the pedestal, which wouldn't be possible since you've already left the labyrinth."

"And even if you did find a way to infiltrate the labyrinth and apply those upgrades, you still have to take into consideration the wording on the right for continued generation."

Hearing those words, Valyr took a look at the right Alpha mentioned once more, only to then notice what the puppet meant by its words.

"I see."

Faintly nodding in understanding after that, the young man finally went ahead and began to make use of the remaining Labyrinth Points he had, purchasing the special items Alpha had mentioned one by one.

Considering the benefits it would give to the guild, it went without saying that Valyr prioritized the Statue of Transcendence first, buying the four versions that were made available to him.

After that, he moved onto the right of perpetual generation, redeeming all five versions in order to maximize the amount of Labyrinth Points being generated once he and his guild were out of the labyrinth.

Of course, once he was done with the first right, he then proceeded with the right of further transaction, also buying the five versions that were available to maximize the amount of items he could redeem from the labyrinth.

And with that, Valyr's shopping spree was pretty much done.
