Moonborn: The Lost Legacy

Chapter 25: Shopping time

After Keld and Aria recovered from their injuries, the whole gang sat together in the garden, watching the sky and admiring the beauty of Lunara.

Aria broke the silence. "Did you three buy your academy uniforms and books yet?"

Elowen shook her head. "Not yet."

Aria smiled. "It's good that you haven't. Let's go get them today!"

Elowen nodded. "Yeah, that's a good idea. What do you two think?"

Cassian grinned. "Sounds like a great plan. Let's go."

Keld also agreed, giving a small nod.

Aria stood up excitedly. "So, let's go, guys! Time for some shopping!"

After a while, the squad arrived at the Lunara market, where the hustle and bustle was combined with the magic and advanced technology that the people of Lunara used to do their work. People traveled using floating boards, digital shops displayed their goods in holograms, and advanced shoes hovered a few inches above the ground.

Aria pointed ahead. "Alright, everyone, follow me. Let's buy our uniforms first."

She led them to a small shop tucked in a corner, where a woman greeted them with a warm smile. "Hello, anyone here?"

A woman walked up to them and beamed. "Oh, Princess Aria! Welcome! Are these your friends?"

Aria nodded. "Yes, they are. They're joining the academy with me. Could you show them the uniforms?"

The woman motioned for them to follow her. After a short while, Elowen and Cassian came out, each holding their uniforms. Keld followed soon after, wearing his uniform as well.

"This uniform looks so good and is really comfortable to move in," Keld remarked.

The shop owner smiled. "Yes, it's designed to be flexible for students, allowing them to use magic and move freely. By the way, the uniform looks great on you three."

Cassian grinned. "The girls' uniforms look amazing. A navy-blue beret with a silver emblem atop the head, glowing faintly under the moonlight. A fitted white blouse with golden embroidery and a high-collared royal-blue coat with silver accents. The back slit allows easy movement. White, fitted pants made from enchanted fabric ensure agility, secured with a silver belt with the academy's crest. Knee-high boots with silver buckles and a lightweight enchanted cape complete the look, radiating grace and readiness for battle."

Elowen shook her head in amusement. "It's not just that. The boys' uniforms look just as good. A navy-blue beret with a silver emblem marks the rank. The high-collared white shirt with golden embroidery, layered under the royal-blue coat with silver accents, has a split-back design for mobility. White, fitted pants made of magical fabric ensure agility, secured by a silver-buckled belt with the academy's crest. Sturdy knee-high boots with silver plating provide durability, while the lightweight enchanted cape adjusts its length as needed, showing both nobility and battle-ready precision."

After purchasing the uniforms, the group moved on to buy their books. After a while, Cassian sighed and slumped, clearly tired.

"I'm exhausted. Let's go back," Cassian suggested.

Aria, Elowen, and Keld looked at him, surprised. "What are you saying?"

Cassian groaned. "What do you mean? I just want to relax!"

Keld smirked. "I can explain. When you come shopping with girls, don't think you can just buy what you want and leave. That only happens with boys. For girls, they'll end up seeing the whole market, even if they don't plan to buy anything."

Both Aria and Elowen nodded in agreement.

Cassian raised an eyebrow. "How do you know that?"

Keld laughed. "Experience. I've been dragged around by my sister countless times. It happens every time."

Both Aria and Elowen smiled. "You're a good boy, Keld."

After hours of shopping, the squad finally returned to their place. Cassian immediately threw himself on the bed.

"I'm dead. I'm going to sleep," Cassian mumbled.

Keld smirked. "Not right now."

Cassian groaned. "What now?"

keld say. "Let's play all games and throw a party. We're free today! Did you forget? In two days, we have to go to the academy!"

cassian grinned. "Ah, yes. You're right. So, let's enjoy tonight."

And like that, the entire squad spent the night playing games and enjoying themselves, laughter and excitement filling the air.

After resting for one more day, our squad said their goodbyes to Seluna and Ryulune before leaving for the academy. The journey was smooth, and they traveled by train, the excitement building with every passing moment.

Upon reaching the academy, Aria looked around, her eyes full of curiosity. "Let's see what rooms we get," she said, as they made their way to the reception area.

Once there, Aria asked the woman behind the counter, "What room do we get in the academy?"

The woman glanced at her papers and smiled. "You four will be getting personal rooms."

Keld's eyes lit up. "Personal rooms? That's amazing!" He grinned widely, his excitement evident.

Both Elowen and Cassian nodded in agreement. "That sounds great," Elowen added with a smile. "We'll have our own space to settle in."

The woman handed them their key cards. "Here are your keys. Rest well."

Keld immediately suggested, "Let's get some rest and meet at my room later."

Aria, Elowen, and Cassian agreed, and they all headed to their respective rooms. After some much-needed rest, they gathered in Keld's room.

Aria spoke up, her expression serious. "Today is the entrance ceremony. You know, the student who impresses the teachers in the entrance exam gets called up to give a speech."

Keld raised an eyebrow. "That means you'll give the speech, right?"

Aria shook her head. "I don't know. There are so many talented people joining this year. I'm not sure if I'll be the one chosen."

Cassian leaned back with a grin. "We'll find out tomorrow. So for now, let's just have some fun."

The group spent the rest of the evening chatting and enjoying their time together.

As the night wore on, everyone returned to their rooms to rest, waiting for the morning to arrive.
