My Life in Multiverse

A few days passed in the blink of an eye and the situation in the village had turned to worse in the timeframe.

Hiruzen sent back the corpse of the head ninja of Kumogakure alongside the truth of the matter, asking for an explanation.

But Kumogakure were not vegetarians as they immediately denied any kidnap attempt from their side, even going as far as to accuse the Hyuga clan, and also Konoha by extension, of wanting to sabotage the peace treaty and continue the conflict.

The news of the killing of the head of Kumogakure ninja by the head of the Hyuga clan spread like wildfire, purposely done by some people.

To avoid a deadly war that would consume countless lives on both sides, Kumogakure demanded the lives of the ones who killed their ninja, and that was the head of the Hyuga Clan, Hiashi Hyuga.

Needless to say, all of this was also another plot by Kumogakure in order to get their hands on the Byakugan, while also weakening the Hyuga clan and Konoha at the same time.

The upper echelon of Konoha knew fully well what Kumogakure was trying to do but rather than resisting like sane people, they bow down to Kumogakure's demands, clearly showing weakness to Kumogakure and all the other Ninja villages.

Naruto was watching all the turn of events with cold eyes, his heart was completely disgusted by the high-ranking people of the Konoha village.

Where the focus should have been on how to save the citizens of the village, the upper echelon of Konoha was focusing on small benefits, declining the strength of the village.

He could even see that it was done with the purpose of knocking the Hyuga Clan down a peg. 

Naruto's heart was cold and his desire to kill all the senior members of Konoha who were in charge of making decisions was getting stronger and stronger.

Finally, the upper echelon of Konoha, along with some influential members of the Hyuga Clan, came up with the idea to sacrifice Hiashi's twin brother, Hizashi Hyuga in place of Hiashi Hyuga.

Hizashi Hyuga was a member of the branch house and was even marked with a cursed seal. Being Hiashi's twin brother, he looked completely identical to his brother, so he could become a perfect scapegoat.

To the higher-ups, it was the perfect plan.

Kumogakure wouldn't be able to differentiate between Hiashi and Hizashi, so in that regard, Konoha had fulfilled their end of the bargain faithfully. And for Konoha, since Hizashi had a cursed seal on his forehead, his Byakugan would be automatically sealed the moment he lost his life.

Thus, it would also prevent the Kumogakure from obtaining the Byakugan.

Hiashi had tried to argue with the Third Hokage and the elders of the family, not wanting to sacrifice his brother's life in his place. But Hizashi immobilized him with a single blow.

Hiashi Hyuga was startled by the sudden blow and argued with his brother, telling him not to do that.

Hizashi ignored his brother's plea and then explained that he was not doing this to preserve the Hyuga's structure, but to save the life of his brother, to prevent war, and to choose his own fate for the first time in his life.

Even before going to his death, Hizashi asked his brother, Hiashi, to tell Neji of his reason for his decision, regretting that he had only shown Neji his bitterness in life.

After a few days, in the Hyuga Mansion, a large number of people had gathered, all dressed in black. The atmosphere was pretty depressing, sounds of mourning could be heard.

Little Hinata was held by Hiashi's right hand and stood in the first row of the crowd.

It was actually the funeral of Hizashi Hyuga. 

The man was lying in a coffin in the center of the yard with a large number of Hyuge family members mourning their loss.

Hizashi Hyuga's funeral was held in a somber mood. His family was crying for his absence in their life from now on.

Little Hinata looked around with a puzzled look and then looked at her uncle lying in the coffin, finally understanding what was going on. Her face turned pale and tears welled up in her eyes.

Neji Hyuga, the only son of Hizashi, eyed hatefully at the main clan members.

'First cage bird seal, now my father! Hiashi Hyuga! I know you are responsible for my father's death. I will not forgive you for this. Just wait. I will have my revenge on all of you main family members.'

The dark thoughts of rage and hatred remained unseen by even the family who prided themselves for having 'All Seeing Eyes'.

What would this hatred bring?

Only the future could tell.

The night gradually darkened, and Hinata kept crying because Neji refused to talk with her and even looked at her with hatred.

She walked out of the Hyuga Mansion and kept running while crying. She was not mature enough to really understand why her uncle Hizashi died.

After all, he was still alive and well a few days ago.

It was snowing heavily outside.

Hinata finally collapsed due to hunger and cold.

Under a street lamp, she continued to wipe her tears and sob due to the pain of losing a family member.

"If we keep going like this, can we see Uncle Hizashi?" She whispered softly, wanting to see her uncle again.

Naruto was standing at the top of a nearby house, watching the little girl being so heartbroken. He had experienced all kinds of loss so there was nothing that could move his frozen heart anymore.

'This pain will let you grow up and understand that this world is not a fairy tale...'

Hinata was lying on the ground. The freezing ground did not make her feel cold, because her heart was already cold to the bone.

She lay on the ground and cried loudly, and her tears melted the snow on the ground.

Naruto finally jumped down from the roof, landing beside the lavender-eyed young girl.

"What are you doing here?"

"Ehh?" Hinata was caught by surprise by the sudden voice. She raised her tear-stained face and looked at the handsome yellow-haired young boy.

"Naruto-sama...?"

She rubbed her eyes and called out his name.
