Chapter 205: Ch 13 - Guidance
Naruto looked at Hinata who was crying and slowly pulled her up. He then asked softly. "Why are you crying here?"
"I... I..." Hinata was very sad and lunged at him, hugging him tightly. She began to sob quietly. Her tears were making his clothes wet further.
Naruto didn't say anything. He just gently stroked her hair.
Nobody talked for a while. When Hinata finally stopped sobbing, she rubbed her face on his clothes.
Finally, she opened her mouth and said, "I think I am the reason behind Uncle's death. Brother Neji lost his smile with Uncle. Brother Neji and Aunt must be thinking that it was all my fault. Even if Father didn't say anything, I know in my heart, I am responsible for this mess. I... Maybe I should have..."
"It is not your fault!" Naruto said sternly. His eyes bore into the three-year-old girl who was slowly losing her self-confidence in self-loathing and guilt.
He said in a slightly angry voice. "It's the fault of the ninja system and the village being weak. If Grandpa was strong or the village had strong ninjas, nothing like this would have happened."
"Naruto-sama..." Hinata sobbed lightly while listening to his strong words.
Naruto patted her head and said. "You are just a victim in all this mess, Hinata-chan... But you still have to become stronger..."
"What are you saying, Naruto-sama?" Hinata asked curiously, not understanding the depth of his sentence, lacking the maturity.
Naruto grabbed her shoulders and said. "Hinata-chan, you are a very kind and sweet girl but... you have to grow up and become strong. You have lost your uncle and now your brother is not talking with you, right?"
She nodded her head, his words sinking into her head.
Naruto paused for a moment and continued. "But they are still at least alive, isn't it? If you and I don't grow stronger in the future, then both of us will lose more and more of our family members."
Hinata trembled when she thought of that possibility. Her eyes panicked and tears welled up in her eyes.
Naruto patted her head and said. "Don't cry now... I want to become stronger and make this village a place where we will not lose our families. But I cannot do it alone... in the future, I will need your help. Will you help me?"
Hinata stared at the serious face of the young boy in front of her and wiped her tears with her sleeve, getting serious.
"I... I don't want to more of my family."
"Good. Remember this feeling... One day, this feeling of loss will help you become strong so you can protect your family." Naruto smiled at her.
"Umm," Hinata nodded her head. her eyes become clear and a sense of determination flashed into her lavender eyes.
"Now, then let's go. I will send you back to your family." He pulled her hand as he said.
"Thank you, Naruto-sama," Hinata said softly, her cheeks blushing. Even if she had grown up a little and would grow into a strong girl, Naruto could never change her basic nature.
Even though he had evoked a new feeling of becoming stronger inside Hinata but the girl was spiritually soft and caring so it would take time for her to grow.
But at least he had changed her perspective on life now. He was sure that she would not be timid and meek anymore in the future.
The scene turned and Hinata and Naruto stood in front of the Hyuga family's mansion.
Naruto looked at Hinata beside her and said softly. "Now, it's time for me to take my leave. Take care of yourself, Hyuga princess... And Hinata-chan, I will ask something from you in the future, I hope you will agree to my request."
Hinata's face flushed red with steam rising from the top of her head. She mistook his words for something else.
'Naruto-sama, I... I will agree to anything you want. I will definitely become stronger and help you in creating such a village that you talked about... I do not want to lose more of my family members.'
"Become strong and don't cry, okay?" He smiled and patted her head. Then he turned his head and walked away.
Hinata stared at his back blankly, so the boy's back was imprinted in the girl's heart for life. She continued to watch until the back of the young boy had entirely disappeared from her view.
She took a deep look in the distance before walking into the Hyuge compound.
Hinata had changed from the young child who had run away a few minutes ago. Now, she had a goal that she wanted to accomplish and also her promise to Naruto.
From now on, she would work harder than anyone else and one day become the Matriarch of the Hyuga family.
It was an idea that had been installed in her brain by Naruto.
The young Jinchuriki of the Nine Tail wanted to control the entire Hyuga clan through Hinata Hyuga.
As for the young blue-haired young girl, Naruto had more plans for her than he showed on the surface...
In a few days, many things changed in the Hyuga family.
First, Hiashi Hyuga locked himself inside the library, grieving over the loss of his brother.
But when he did come out, his personality had been completely changed.
The Patriarch of the Hyuga clan had become extremely strict and stern, to the point of assigning both his daughters arduous training.
Not only his daughter, but all the family members especially Jonins and Chunins had to go through harsh training to grow stronger.
Because of the death of his blood brother, he was disillusioned to believe that strength was everything to survive.
But there was one change from the canon part, it was Hinata's behavior.
Rather than being weak and timid, she slowly improved under the arduous training.
Even though she couldn't compare to a genius like Neji or a talent like her little sister Hanabi, but her growth was visible to everyone who saw her training.
Naruto's words that she would lose more family members if she didn't become stronger kept echoing in her subconscious, making her grit her teeth and survive the harsh training sessions.
Hinata wanted to grow into a strong kunoichi and help Naruto in creating a peaceful village.
Naruto too observed her efforts by sharing vision with his shadow that he left in Hinata's shadow. He was very pleased with her growth and looked forward to her future achievements.
Naruto also learned all sorts of sealing techniques, special to the Uzumaki clan from her mother. Not only that but he also mastered Rasengan and Flying Thunder God completely.
He even learned how to add his Chakra nature into the Rasengan, creating the famous 'Wind Release: Rasengan' and 'Wind Release: Rasenshuriken'. He even created 'Lightning Release: Vanishing Rasengan' which would have been developed by Naruto's son in the future.
Aside from that, he also developed a few more types of Rasengan but the strongest one would definitely be Tailed Beast Rasengan which he could create by using Kurama's chakra.
