My Life in Multiverse

Two years passed since the Hyuga Affair but another big event was still in progress.

The relationship between the Uchiha Clan and the Konoha Village had deteriorated to a very high level.

Even though it could still be contained but almost negligence efforts were made to better the situation. 

What the Third Hokage wanted was an obedient clan who listened to everything he told them but Uchihas were a proud and strong clan who would not do that.

Even if he didn't show it completely but Hiruzen was scared of the Uchiha Clan, no matter how much good he tried to act.

In the past six months, the security and surveillance over Naruto have increased three times.

Aside from Kushina and Yuhi, Sarutobi had even assigned three ANBUs to watch over him and protect him in any case.

Not only ANBU but even Danzo had sent three of his Root ANBUs to make sure that the Uchihas would not make a move on the nine-tail Jinchuriki.

But Naruto had no care as he had made a trip to the Uchiha Clan compound a few times in the past six months.

Even though he was not welcomed as enthusiastically as he had predicted but Naruto still felt that they had no malicious intention for him.

At first, he was even stopped by two Jonins from the Uchiha Clan but he did not care and stubbornly entered the Uchiha Clan. With his identity as the son of the fourth Hokage, he could do certain things without any trouble at all...

Naruto even came face to face with Itachi Uchiha and young Sasuke.

Itachi was carrying Sasuke on his back when he saw Naruto wandering close to the Uchiha's compound.

Itachi being an ANBU had the right to learn some more advanced secrets and was startled to see the nine tails Jinchuriki wandering in the Uchiha's compound.

Naruto smiled and waved at Itachi Uchiha before walking away, leaving the Uchiha clan's place.

"Nii-san, do you know that kid?" Sasuke asked curiously. He saw an unknown boy waving at his brother and furrowed his brows, not liking it at all.

Both the brothers had the special traits of being bro-cons.

Itachi stared at Naruto's back and replied. "His name is Naruto Uzumaki. He is the same as your age and the son of the Lord Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze."

"Ehh? He is the son of the Hokage who died six years ago." Sasuke was surprised by this revelation.

Itachi didn't reply as he was lost in his own thoughts.

'What is he doing here...? With the current situation, things would turn for the worse. I have to report it to Hokage-sama.'

"Nii-san, what are you thinking about now?" Sasuke pouted and hit his brother with his small fists, like a spoiled child.

Itachi shook his head and smiled, walking toward his home.

"Forgive me, Sasuke. Brother will teach you new tricks to make up for it."

Sasuke smiled and threw his hands into the air, cheering happily. "Yeaaa! Brother is the best."

Naruto on the other hand had left the Uchiha's compound and went to the forest to train himself. He found a secluded place and sat down cross-legged on the ground. He slowly submerged into his consciousness, going to meet the Tailed Beast inside his body.

He arrived in a massive place. The place was almost empty with a red sky that was reflecting onto the surface of the ankle-length blue water.

As far as one could see, they would only the red sky stretching up to an unknown distance.

Naruto appeared in that space and stood over the water, looking at the only other living creature residing in that space.

It was a giant mountain-sized kitsuna with red-orange black fur around its red eyes that stretched up to its ears and nine long swiping tails. It also had the upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands.

The Kyuubi opened its eyes and looked at Naruto who arrived and snorted.

"Yo, Kurama!"

Before Kyuubi went crazy, Naruto spoke first and took the initiative to say hello.

Kurama snorted, "I don't have allowed you to call me by my name, little brat."

"Come on, Kurama. Don't be so stingy. Aren't we friends? You can call me by my name too." Naruto pouted and complained.

Kurama was amused and grumbled. "Hmph! Who wants to call an idiot like you by a name? I am the Nine Tails, the strongest of the Tailed beasts."

It declared proudly.

Naruto smiled and patted his hand. "Hahaha... I know, I know. You are really such a show-off."

The Kyuubi opened its eyes wide and sighed, putting its head over its forearm, muttering.

"Hey, kid. You are going to kill those high-ranking officials. It will not be so easy! Do you want me to give you some of my chakra?"

Naruto listened to its words and smiled brightly. "Hehe... I knew it. You're really my good friend. But don't worry. I can take care of those weaklings with my own. Using your Chakra to deal with them will be giving them too much face."

Kurama couldn't help but its mouth arched up in a smile and its ears twitched, hearing him praise. It said proudly. "Hmph! You're right. Go and fuck them up good. I don't like those shits even a single bit."

"Just leave it to me." Naruto patted his chest and said confidently.

Naruto and Kurama's relationship was not this good from the beginning. It took him around three years to reach this level.

Even though they had not reached the level of being best friends, fist bumping with each other but they had become good friends and Kyuubi suggested a few times to Naruto that it was willing to share his Chakra with him.

Naruto knew everything about Kurama and the same was true for Kurama too.

The Kyuubi knew that the young boy in front of it was not actually Naruto Uzumaki but a boy from another world called Alex Dragneel. It also knew all the darkness hidden in the heart of the young man since it could sense all the emotions of the other party.

Naruto had shown all his memories related to the Naruto series to Kurama but unknowingly, Kurama also saw what happened to him and how such a young man was carrying so much darkness inside his heart.

One man and one beast, both hiding darkness in their hearts grew close to each other and became close friends.

And it all began that day...
