The civilization of the Pioneers was extraordinarily advanced, akin to Krypton's in concept. Overexploitation had led to the collapse of their planet, forcing them to utilize wormholes and cloning technologies to colonize other planets. Their method? Deploy bio-weapons like the Kaiju to devastate a planet, then claim it for themselves.

The two beasts that appeared in the Land of Earth were part of this legacy. One was a Level 4 Kaiju, a bio-weapon classified as "Virus," while the other—a dormant assistant-level tool of the Pioneer Bishop—had been brought into this world through the roulette of extraordinary powers.

When Yoichi used his mental energy to activate the assistant, he unexpectedly passed its intelligence verification process, becoming its primary user with Level 1 authority—the highest level. The assistant could grant up to five secondary users with Level 2 authority and ten tertiary users with Level 3 authority, allowing them to utilize its functions.

"AI surveillance network, huh? Perfect for the Tenseigan clone. As for monster creation and spatial wormholes, those will have to wait until I return to the original timeline," Yoichi mused.

With the assistant's help, Yoichi quickly mastered its functionalities. It was immensely useful for analyzing the God Tree and the Ōtsutsuki clan. The Pioneer civilization's cloning technologies alone could bring significant advancements to the ninja world.

"Let's start with the artificial God Tree. But for now, it should stay with the Tenseigan clone. I'll have the Kamui clone transport it there," Yoichi decided, passing instructions through the Spiritualization Technique.

Though the Pioneers hadn't fully developed their AI capabilities, the assistant's basic artificial intelligence far surpassed anything the ninja world had ever seen.

Moments later, the Kamui clone arrived. After configuring the assistant's permissions, Yoichi handed it over to the clone, who transported it to the Tenseigan clone.

With the assistant's aid, the Tenseigan clone's communication technologies would soon reach their peak.

"That's one less thing to worry about," Yoichi murmured to himself.

Meanwhile, Victor stood before the artificial God Tree, watching it slowly bloom. His excitement was barely containable.

"It's finally happening!"

Victor had invested billions of ryō, buying death row prisoners from across the ninja world. Nearly a thousand lives had been sacrificed to feed the tree, many of them enhanced with Hashirama cells to strengthen their vitality before being consumed.

At last, his efforts were bearing fruit.

"What about him?" Victor asked, glancing at Deepa. Without needing a name, Deepa knew who Victor was referring to.

"He hasn't been around the base lately. You didn't tell him the real timeline, did you?"

"Of course not," Victor replied with a sly grin. "I intentionally told him the God Tree would mature in three months. Even if he suspected otherwise, he'd only come a month early at best. By then, it'll be too late."

Victor laughed triumphantly. Once he devoured the God Tree's fruit, he would find Jigen and seize the real Ten-Tails for himself.

Share the power with the rest of Kara? Absolutely not. Such strength was meant for him alone.

As more death row prisoners were sacrificed to the tree, its branches greedily absorbed their life force, leaving behind shriveled husks. Compared to the original God Tree, the artificial version was even more voracious during its growth phase.

Suddenly, alarms blared throughout the facility, startling Victor and Deepa.

Victor pressed a button to contact the outer guards. "What's happening out there?"

"Enemies!" came the panicked reply, followed by the sickening sound of flesh being pierced and a heavy thud. The faint sound of approaching footsteps was the last thing Victor heard before the line went dead.

"Enemies?" Deepa asked, narrowing his eyes.

Victor's expression darkened. "It's probably not him," he muttered. "He wouldn't use the front entrance."

Acting quickly, Victor locked down the facility's outer gates. The sound of footsteps suggested this wasn't a space-time jutsu user, so the intruder would have to break through.

"Deepa, hold them off if they breach this area. This is the most critical moment for us."

Deepa hesitated, then nodded. Though he desired the God Tree's fruit, he lacked the expertise to utilize it alone. For now, he would follow Victor's lead.

The tree continued to bloom, its apex gradually opening.

Suddenly, the ceiling of the cultivation chamber exploded, and two massive purple arms smashed through, creating a large hole.

"What?!" Victor and Deepa stared in shock as figures leapt down through the opening.

"Konoha shinobi… damn it!" Victor cursed upon seeing Sai. He immediately recognized the intruders. Sai had escaped him once before, but Victor hadn't expected him to return so soon, let alone with reinforcements.

Among them was a black-haired man with a single arm and Sharingan glowing in his eyes—none other than Sasuke.

"Deepa, stop them! Don't let them near the tree!"

Victor darted toward the God Tree while Deepa stepped forward to intercept the attackers.

"It's definitely a God Tree," Sasuke remarked coldly, observing the blooming artificial tree. "It must be destroyed."

Drawing his Kusanagi Blade, he charged toward Deepa and Victor.

Infuriated by Sasuke's brazen attack, Deepa retaliated by launching a barrage of carbon blades.

Sasuke remained unfazed, activating his Rinnegan's Amenotejikara to swap places with Deepa, causing the carbon blades to strike Deepa's unprotected lower body.

"Ahhh!" Deepa screamed as ink tigers from Sai's jutsu latched onto him, forming sealing patterns across his body.

"Sealing Technique: Predatory Gaze!" Sai exclaimed as the ink transformed into a binding seal, immobilizing Deepa.

Victor's situation wasn't much better. Sasuke's Sharingan tracked his every move, and the electrified Kusanagi Blade slashed through his defenses with precision.

"Chidori!"

The sound of chirping birds filled the room as lightning crackled around Sasuke's blade. In a swift motion, he severed Victor's arms and delivered a powerful kick, sending him flying.

Pinned beneath Sasuke's blade, Victor's body convulsed as lightning coursed through him, rendering him incapable of using regenerative jutsu.

"Speak," Sasuke demanded coldly, pressing the blade further. "Which organization do you belong to? Who are your accomplices?"

Before Victor could answer, a distorted voice interrupted.

"What a pitiful sight, Victor."

Everyone turned toward the voice. Beside the God Tree stood a man in a black cloak and swirling mask.

"Uchiha Obito?" Sasuke murmured, recognizing the appearance.

The masked figure chuckled. "No, I'm not him. I'm simply here to collect what's mine. Thank you for nurturing the tree for me, Victor."

Forming a series of hand seals, the masked figure activated a space-time jutsu, causing the ground beneath the tree to collapse.

"Who are you?!" Sasuke demanded, activating his Rinnegan to swap places with the figure, only for his blade to pass harmlessly through him.

"Impressive Rinnegan technique, but it won't work on me," the figure taunted before disappearing into the distorted space, taking the God Tree with him.

"You'd best not try following me," he warned. "There are things in my dimension even you wouldn't want to face."

With those words, he vanished, leaving Sasuke gripping his blade in frustration.
