Naruto: Dual-Pupil Uchiha

Hokage Office!

"Any movements from the Uchiha Clan?" Sarutobi Hiruzen sat in the Hokage office, overseeing everything. He was smoking his pipe, his expression hard to read.

Below him, an ANBU ninja stood.

Today was the day to take action. The Uchiha Clan had been under constant surveillance.

Now, Danzo's Root division had set up defenses, and the Uchihas should be noticing it soon.

"Fugaku should have already noticed our movements. He's very angry!" The ANBU ninja looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen and reported everything he saw. "It seems he called a meeting with his people!"

"What was discussed at the meeting?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked, frowning.

"I'm not sure!" The ANBU ninja shook his head. "It seems they are preparing for us. I wasn't able to gather information on the contents of the meeting."

"Did Uchiha Itachi attend?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked again.

"No." The ANBU ninja shook his head.

Upon hearing this, Sarutobi Hiruzen took a deep breath and didn't ask more questions.

As for what Fugaku and the clan discussed, it no longer mattered.

Tonight, they would all die.

"How about Uchiha Kinya's Merchant Association? Did they make any moves after noticing you?" Sarutobi Hiruzen shifted the topic again, asking.

The hardest part of this clan extermination was dealing with Uchiha Kinya's side. Half of the Uchiha clan's Jonins were there, making it a tough target.

"No movement, still the same as usual!" The ANBU ninja nodded, seeming to think for a moment. "They seem to think the ANBU are targeting Fugaku, so they haven't taken us seriously. They're living and patrolling like normal."

Actually, the ANBU ninja felt a bit helpless.

Uchiha Kinya and his Merchant Association had helped maintain order in half of Konoha. If it weren't for Fugaku's betrayal, the Uchiha Merchant Association would have been gaining more public support.

Such a shame.

But if the Uchiha clan was wiped out, who would be in charge of the Police Force Division?

Sarutobi's Police Force Division?

Thinking about this, the ANBU ninja felt a bit helpless. There were some things he didn't dare to say in front of Hokage-sama.

Right now, Sarutobi's Police Force Division was too arrogant. They were even more reckless than the old Uchiha. This had caused complaints from many people, but Hokage-sama didn't seem to care about it!

He kept praising Sarutobi's Police Force Division.

"Any other news?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked, continuing.

"Uchiha Genya's schedule has been normal these past few days, but it seems like there's new health equipment at the hospital. He sent his mother and some women from the clan to the hospital!" the ANBU ninja explained. "As for him, he went to the ninja academy."

"The hospital?" Sarutobi Hiruzen narrowed his eyes. That place was special.

As for Genya?

To the Third Hokage, he was just a child who hadn't awakened his Uchiha clan's Sharingan. He wasn't a waste, but he wasn't special either.

It didn't matter whether he was in the clan or at school.

"I understand!" Sarutobi Hiruzen said after getting the information, waving his hand to dismiss the ninja.

As soon as the ANBU ninja left, Danzo strode in confidently!

The Sharingan he longed for, after today, would be his to use endlessly!

"Have you made the arrangements?" Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at Shimura Danzo, and especially noticed his expression, knowing he was ready.

"Naturally!" Danzo nodded proudly and continued, "I've arranged for 120 ninjas to the Uchiha clan. Over 70 of them are elite jonin. As soon as there's chaos within the Uchiha clan, the ROOT ninjas will act immediately, ensuring not a single civilian survives!"

"I've even placed people in the Uchiha hospital. Once the disturbance begins, we'll strike!"

"Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to deal with those Uchiha ninjas transporting goods, or those two little brats from the Ninja Academy for now."

Danzo spoke with some regret, especially about Uchiha Genya. The guy had no habit of going to academy, but today... he actually went to the Ninja Academy.

Such a lucky kid.

"At the hospital, have your people be careful. There are too many civilians there." Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at the smug Danzo and added, "The Uchiha transporting goods should be dealt with tonight. As for Sasuke, you cannot touch him. Genya, though, that depends on how you feel."

Sasuke was something he had promised Itachi, but Genya... a useless kid. Whether he acted or not wouldn't cause any trouble.

"Heh... those two brats at the Ninja Academy won't be touched. As for the others, heh!" A killing intent flashed in Danzo's eyes. As for Uchiha Genya, a useless child, whether he was dealt with or not didn't matter.

Indeed, only the Uchiha clan and their descendants could awaken pure Sharingan. The Senju clan and Uchiha intermarriage would only result in a bloodline muddled with trash!

What he wanted was the Sharingan. He didn't care about a useless kid.

"What about Itachi?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked, then finally brought up his last key question.

Shimura Danzo suddenly laughed. "Sitting on a cliff outside Konoha, it seems like he's reminiscing about Shisui, or perhaps saying goodbye to the past!"

As he spoke, a mysterious expression appeared on Danzo's face.

"Heh, a ruthless guy like that, who would personally wipe out his own clan, is just right for joining my ROOT!"

He liked people like that.

"Forget about it. After annihilating his clan, he has other tasks to do!" Sarutobi Hiruzen took a deep breath and immediately rejected Danzo's idea.

A person like Itachi couldn't be left in Konoha! 

Who knows if he might turn on Konoha or even the Sarutobi clan? 

It was better to have someone like that leave the village.

"Other tasks, huh... Heh, looks like Itachi is still loyal to you. Even after destroying his own clan, he's still working for you!" Danzo laughed darkly, admitting that when it came to brainwashing, he was no match for Hiruzen.

He was even curious about how the Third Hokage's Will of Fire managed to make so many people loyal to him.

"It's a transaction. Itachi doesn't want Sasuke to suffer the same fate!" Sarutobi Hiruzen casually exhaled smoke and said, "Itachi is smarter than Shisui. He figured out my intentions, but he has Sasuke as his weak point. As long as Sasuke stays alive, he'll keep working for Konoha. But if Sasuke dies..."
