Naruto: I'm Really Not an Evil Uchiha!

Chapter 89: Inuzuka Akizuki

Half an hour later, Shimizu finished his treatment.

"Won't you stay for a meal before you go?"

Mikoto politely urged him.

"I have some matters to attend to later, so I won't trouble you, Mikoto-nee."

Shimizu smiled, changed his shoes at the entrance, and left.

Not long after Shimizu's departure, Fugaku folded his newspaper.

"Let's have a child," he said in a deep voice.

Mikoto's health had been recovering well. They had planned to have a child months ago, but circumstances kept delaying it.

"This..."

Mikoto's body tensed, and a troubled expression crossed her face.

For reasons she couldn't explain, the idea made her uneasy. Over time, she had lost interest in such matters altogether.

She had even consulted Shimizu about it. His response was simple—some people were naturally less inclined toward such desires, and she might simply be one of them.

Fugaku glanced at her, reading her discomfort. He sighed but didn't press the matter.

With the looming war, they could wait.

"That mission was way too dangerous! Good thing you used your genjutsu to immobilize the enemy, and I finished them off with a wind-style jutsu."

Sarutobi Asuma and Yuuhi Kurenai strolled through the streets of Konoha. Asuma chattered endlessly about their recent mission.

Their jōnin instructor and other teammate walked silently beside them.

"Alright, I get it," Kurenai said, shaking her head at Asuma's excited expression.

With the ongoing war, even low-level missions had become more perilous.

If it weren't for Shimizu's provocation that had driven her to train her genjutsu relentlessly, she might have been injured on this mission.

"What's this..."

As they passed a shop, Kurenai glanced at the display and blushed.

Mannequins wore very short skirts paired with black stockings.

She couldn't help but think of Shimizu. Each time she challenged him, she had to change her outfit.

If she challenged him again now, would she need to wear one of these outfits?

"No, absolutely not."

Kurenai shook her head, banishing the terrifying thought.

"I just want to restore the honor of the Yuuhi clan," she whispered firmly.

Yes, that was it—the honor of her clan. It couldn't end with her.

Her gaze drifted back to the shop display as she fell into deep thought.

Asuma, noticing her silence, finally stopped talking.

"Huh? Kurenai, do you like these clothes?"

He stared at the display, thinking. If he bought one of these outfits for Kurenai, would she be surprised?

They both stood in front of the glass window, lost in their own thoughts.

Konoha Hospital

"Shimizu-kun."

Just as Shimizu finished treating a patient and was about to return to his office, a girl called out to him.

"Inuzuka… Akizuki?"

Shimizu turned to see a young woman in a yellow robe that accentuated her graceful figure. The high collar covered her neck, but when she moved, it revealed glimpses of her fair skin.

Her coffee-colored wavy hair flowed naturally to her waist, and red triangular markings adorned her face. Frameless glasses added a refined touch.

"Um... yes, it's me."

Akizuki spoke timidly, surprised that Shimizu remembered her name.

"What's the matter?"

The reason Shimizu remembered her was her striking resemblance to Inuzuka Akita from Boruto, the renowned scientist and head of Konoha's Scientific Ninja Tool Team.

Given their similar appearances and shared surname, Shimizu suspected that Akizuki might be Akita's mother.

However, Akizuki seemed far more reserved and gentle compared to the confident Akita.

"Akizuki's Yukimaru is injured. You're a doctor, right? Hurry up and treat her!"

From behind Akizuki, Inuzuka Tsume stepped forward, her tone impatient.

"Tsume, don't be like that."

Akizuki tried to calm her down.

"It's fine."

Shimizu shook his head.

Tsume, the mother of Inuzuka Hana and Kiba, was known for her fiery temper. Though younger now, with fewer wrinkles, she was just as spirited.

"Let me see Yukimaru."

Akizuki carefully handed over a small, snow-white dog.

The dog looked listless, her ears drooping.

When Shimizu lifted Yukimaru to examine her closely, the dog barked suddenly, her short legs flailing as if trying to hide something.

"She's a bit shy when you look at her like that," Akizuki explained.

"Oh, so she's a girl," Shimizu chuckled.

He took Yukimaru to his office for further examination. After using medical ninjutsu, the little dog perked up, nuzzling Akizuki affectionately.

"Just give her the prescribed medicine for a few days, and she'll be fine."

He handed Akizuki a prescription.

"Thank you."

Akizuki looked at him gratefully. She had been heartbroken seeing Yukimaru's condition, but Shimizu had solved the problem within minutes.

Despite being the same age, she had only recently graduated from the ninja academy, while Shimizu was already an accomplished doctor.

Looking at his handsome, capable demeanor, Akizuki felt her heart flutter.

At her age, girls found it hard to resist someone like Shimizu—handsome, talented, and powerful.

"Let's go."

Tsume glared protectively at Shimizu and pulled Akizuki out of the office.

On their way out, she lectured Akizuki about how men were no good and that she needed to protect herself.

"Is Tsume into this sort of thing?"

Shimizu frowned. Tsume's hostility was clearly due to Akizuki's admiration.

But Tsume had gone on to have two children, so she had clearly settled down normally.

Shrugging off the thought, Shimizu created a shadow clone to handle any remaining patients.

He headed to the laboratory to pick out mice for his experiments.

Medical science heavily relied on experimentation, and Konoha Hospital had a large supply of mice.

Under the pretense of keeping them as pets, Shimizu often took some home.

After selecting thirty mice and placing them in a cage, Shimizu left the hospital.
