Naruto : Shadow King

[Somewhere in the Elemental Nations]

It was raining, dark clouds covered the sky, painting the world in their shadow, though ohterwise it was daytime.

In this condition a man was navigating dense forest all alone. He was carefully observing the entire rainforest for anything out of the order.

He was wearing a cloak and a hat. Had most of his body covered.

"It's been 4 days, this is the 9th hideout I'm visiting. Please let this be it." The man grumbled with annoyance.

As he said this, suddenly he stopped, he notice something strange in the forest. Something that he might had not notice if it wasn't raining.

The area he was in, was surprisingly had an incline, unlike the rest of the plain.

Now this could be very natural, or it could be that someone build a hideout here underground and they raise the ground to keep the water out.

As soon as this click in this mind, he was full of attention. So he went and started to poke around.

And sure enough, he did find a underground place here…

"Phew, finally got it, now please be here…" Said the man. So he slowly entered the underground.

Upon entering the underground hideout, his eyes turn red, instantly finding several hidden traps.

Masterfully avoiding them all he sneaked in and started to look for what he was looking for, or to be exactly who he was looking.

*Cough…Cough…

 Suddenly a voice echoed in the dark empty passage way, it was a muffled voice but it was enough to alert the man.

Disregarding that one interesting looking lab, in which he saw few eyes with strange patterns on them floating in some sort of glass tube filled with greenish looking liquid, he started to make his way towards were the sound came.

Someone was frantically shuffling through things in the storage room and cough occasionally.

"Out of all, you were the last person I was anticipated to be here…" Suddenly came the sound and the hidden figure making all the noise was alert.

With lightning fast movements, multiple projectiles came huddling towards from where the sound came.

However, the collision sound indicate that the projectiles didn't hit flash but solid wall.

"Come on now, at least hear me out. I went through a lot of trouble to find you…" again came the sound. This time from completly different direction.

The man was still wasn't inside the storage room yet, but his voice seems to be booming for some reason.

"Who are you, and what do you want *Cough…Cough…from me ?" Asked the obviously sick man, as long as he wasn't Gekko Hayate…

"History has proven that no conversation had ended well when people talk about what they want." Said the man with a laughter.

"So, lets start the conversation with what you want. You been here even after almost 6 months of Orochimaru's dead, can't be just becuase you are too loyal, could be ?" Said the man with interest in his tone. Almost like he was mocking.

The sick man didn't like the tone but he was in no condition to fight.

"Who are you ?" He asked once again.

"I'm Shika Nara. Probably a S rank missing nin of Konoha if my luck is bad." Shika grinned as he slowly appeared in front of the sick man. Turn out that he was already in the room, but the sick man couldn't see him due to he was invisible.

"Like it, its a nice little Genjutsu I come up with… as if you are wondering how you couldn't hear my presence outside me speaking, well that another little ninjutsu trick…" Shika said as he grinned, happy to showcase his new ninjutsu.

The sick man though had nothing to do with this, he immediately lifted his hands and launched another row of projectile towards Shika.

The projectiles fly towards Shika and he made no movement. He simple stood there until the projectiles almost near him.

However, just before it was about to pierce him, he suddenly vanished from his place. And then he suddenly appear on somewhere, still looking just as relaxed as before.

"Come on, I'm here to talk, you could tell if I had some other intention. In your condition I don't need to pull any tricks on you if I wants to kill you…" Shika said calmly and as he intentionally let his eyes roam towards the ill person's hands and mouth.

They were bloodied, he wasn't injured but rather coughing up blood. And of course the sick man notice this, even he knew that in his current condition, he was no match to the boy in front of him.

"You are from Konoha…" Asked the man.

"Was, from Konoha. Didn't you heard, I left and now am most likely a missing nin." Shika shrugged, but then he intently looked to the sick man again.

"You are dying, you are practically the last of your clan and there is no one at this point who can save you in your condition…"

There was silence in the room, a tenseness which was building up, like both party was about to take out iron soon.

"Yes… I don't have much time. So I don't see what possibly you could want from me ?" However, the fight didn't happened and soon the sick man said this.

"Hmm…Kimimaro Kayuga. You were the strongest blade or should I say bone under Orochimaru…." Shika didn't directly answer but first explain that he know the sick man and his condition.

Kimimaro too wasn't surprise at this.

"Now that Orochimaru is dead, you have no way to keep on living. Its not wrong to say that you live on upto this day because Orochimaru was helping you sustain your life…."

"What do you want…" Kimimaro after hearing all this started to sound a little impatient.

"Hahaha… impatient huh, well I would be too if I was dying.

Well, lets directly talk business then.
