Orochimaru thought begrudgingly.

Since his identity was already exposed, there was no point in keeping up the disguise.

With a casual tug, he removed his kimono, revealing a brown combat suit underneath. A quick swipe across his face, and his male form returned.

"Hisss... It's been a while, Tsunade," Orochimaru said with a sly smile.

"Why the sour expression? Are you really that unhappy to see an old friend?"

Tsunade glared at him coldly, her words sharp and unyielding.

"Spare me the fake pleasantries. What is your purpose in coming to Konoha?"

Orochimaru's body tensed as he licked his lips.

"The Tsunade-hime I remember always kept herself out of other people's business. Why don't we part ways here? Just pretend you never saw me. How about that?"

Tsunade crossed her arms over her ample chest, a faint smirk playing on her lips.

"Do you really think that's possible... old friend?"

Orochimaru's eyes darkened as he pulled out a kunai.

"It seems our bond has reached its end today."

With those words, he slashed his own arm with the kunai. Blood splattered everywhere.

However, to Orochimaru's surprise, Tsunade didn't react at all.

Instead, she burst into laughter, her body trembling as she found the situation hilariously absurd.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! What are you doing, Orochimaru?"

Orochimaru's expression faltered.

"Your hemophobia... is cured?"

Tsunade shrugged with a sly grin.

"Yep. On my way back to Konoha, a certain old pervert helped me overcome it."

The image of a white-haired lecher flashed through her mind, stirring a mix of emotions in Tsunade's heart.

Shaking her head, she pushed aside her thoughts and removed her green coat, tossing it aside casually.

"Enough small talk. Let's get this over with... Hah!"

With a shout, Tsunade threw a punch at Orochimaru.

Boom!

Before the fist landed, the sheer force of the punch generated a gust of wind, roaring toward Orochimaru like a tidal wave.

Orochimaru's expression changed drastically. He knew better than anyone how terrifying Tsunade's monstrous strength could be.

Back when he and Jiraiya played "rescue the damsel" as kids, Tsunade almost killed him during one of her outbursts. That was the closest he had ever come to death!

Orochimaru's body bent backward at an unnatural angle, twisting grotesquely to dodge the incoming blow.

"Hah!"

Tsunade followed up with a spinning kick, her leg arcing fiercely toward Orochimaru.

The force of her kick was enough to shatter mountains and split the earth. It landed squarely on Orochimaru, sending him crashing through the hospital wall and flying outside.

Despite his modified body, even Orochimaru couldn't withstand Tsunade's monstrous power.

Without hesitation, Tsunade charged through the hole in the wall, leaping from the fifth floor with a battle cry.

"Hah!"

On the ground, Orochimaru saw Tsunade descending toward him like a meteor. His pale face turned even whiter as he scrambled to roll out of the way.

Boom!

Tsunade landed, the impact leaving a deep crater in the ground. Without pausing, she lunged at Orochimaru again.

Orochimaru dodged desperately, all the while scheming his next move.

Something had clearly gone wrong with his plan. However, with the two "lords" he summoned keeping most of Konoha's forces occupied, he still had time. If he could take down Tsunade quickly, he could get things back on track.

As these thoughts crossed his mind, his sly grin returned. If it was just Tsunade, he could handle her.

But just then, a figure dropped down from above, calling out urgently.

"Tsunade, are you alright? ...Hmm?"

When the newcomer saw Orochimaru, their face twisted in shock.

"Orochimaru? What are you doing here?"

"Nan...i?"

Orochimaru's grin froze. Did he forget to check the calendar for bad omens before acting today?

At Konoha's gates, Minato stood with an unprecedentedly serious expression, staring at the two figures before him.

"It's really them... The Second Hokage and... Edo Tensei?"

A kunai whizzed past, and Kakashi appeared beside Minato in an instant. Seeing the two figures clearly, Kakashi's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Sensei, this... is going to be a tough battle."

The third to arrive was the Third Hokage, clad in his black combat attire. His face darkened as he looked at the resurrected figures of his teachers.

"Minato, Kakashi, let me assist you in this fight."

"Thank you, Lord Third."

Behind them, more reinforcements continued to arrive—elite shinobi such as Hatake Sakumo, Uchiha Fugaku, Hyuga Hiashi, and many others. Even with two disasters avoided in this timeline, Konoha's strength had grown severalfold.

Minato quickly issued orders.

"All non-Jonin, evacuate immediately! Set up a perimeter and keep civilians away!"

After giving brief instructions, Minato, Kakashi, and Hiruzen charged toward Hashirama and Tobirama.

The clash of powers was immediate. The sheer force of their confrontation could overturn carts and shatter walls.

As the Third Hokage stared at the familiar faces of his mentors, he couldn't help but ask, "First Lord, Second Lord, can you hear me?"

Hashirama and Tobirama's vacant eyes showed no sign of recognition.

Minato frowned. "Lord Third, they likely have no consciousness in this state."

Hiruzen nodded, sighing deeply. "I know... I just..."

Before he could finish, Hashirama clapped his hands together and mechanically intoned:

"Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees!"

Countless trees erupted from the ground, forming a dense forest in an instant. Massive branches shot toward the trio like spears.

"I'll handle this!"

Hiruzen formed hand seals rapidly, summoning four shadow clones.

"Fire Release: Great Flame Technique!"

Five streams of fire roared forth, turning the forest into an inferno.

In response, Tobirama clasped his hands and unleashed a torrent of water.

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave!"

The water surged like a typhoon, extinguishing the flames and flooding the battlefield.

Kakashi, watching from the side, couldn't hide his astonishment.

"To summon such a powerful water technique without a water source... Incredible!"
