In the Hyuga clan, the two heads, Uchiha Fugaku and Hyuga Hiashi, sat together to drink tea without shying away from others.

In the past, to reassure the Hokage and the village, the Uchiha and Hyuga, as the village's influential clans, generally avoided such close interactions.

Even after the incident with the Hyuga clan and the two families entered a period of cooperation, the heads of the two clans still avoided such contact.

"Fugaku, are you doing this because the Uchiha are preparing to leave Konoha?"

Hiashi looked at the contract in his hand. It outlined the agreement for the use of the shops in Uchiha Industrial Street.

"We can't say we're leaving; we just want to be farther from the village. We remain a ninja clan of Konoha in name, but we will no longer be controlled by the village! These shops will be left to the Hyuga to manage. Rest assured."

Fugaku took a sip of tea and continued, explaining how Yagami had taken advantage of Danzo's escape from prison to transfer three-quarters of the clan's civilians. In the following days, he transferred many of the remaining people in batches.

The departure of these people had rendered the industrial street unnecessary. Although the Uchiha no longer depended on these enterprises in Konoha to support the clan, any small profit was still profit.

Fugaku, with little interest in other pursuits, was pleased to make money from Konoha. After consulting with Yagami, he decided to let the Hyuga take over the Uchiha's stores in Konoha.

The investment of both families was entirely recouped, and the net profit Hyuga gained after taking over was 70 per cent, with Uchiha receiving a 30 per cent share of the earnings.

"Ah! This isn't a bad way to handle things. The village has hurt the Uchiha too deeply."

Hiashi sighed, unsure whether his sorrow was due to his old friend's departure or the situation in the village.

Hiashi, of course, already knew about the masked man. Considering how the Uchiha had been targeted and distrusted before, it was understandable that they would want to leave the village.

The village didn't value them, and the Uchiha no longer had any love for the village, so leaving would indeed be a relief.

"Ha! I just wonder if the person sitting there has any thoughts on it. Hiashi, tell me honestly, did Sarutobi Hiruzen issue any commands to the Hyuga in that high-level meeting?"

Fugaku asked with a slightly mocking tone, and Hiashi's face immediately darkened.

"Yes! And I believe that a high-level meeting was actually held with the Uchiha in mind, though you and Yagami left the meeting at that time. The Third Hokage didn't stop you but shifted his focus to the Hyuga. Quite the strategy!"

Hiashi said, his expression grim. It wasn't that they blamed the Uchiha for allowing the Hyuga to be put in the forefront. Even if the Uchiha hadn't left, the Hyuga would still have been targeted by the Third Hokage, though the order of priorities might have differed.

The Uchiha's ability to walk out of the meeting was due to their own strength and had nothing to do with the Third Hokage's focus on the Hyuga.

"Hmph! We're both prominent clans, but if we gain nothing, they just let us shoulder the burden when problems arise. A clever move indeed."

Fugaku sneered. Danzo's research on Wood Release had nothing to do with the village's clans, nor had it yielded any benefit for them—he had never heard of it.

In the end, Danzo's actions caused major issues, but the entire village expected the ninja clans to take responsibility. Not to mention the Hyuga, even the Uchiha's contributions were criticized by the higher-ups. They truly believed they could treat him and others as fools.

"Speaking of this, I don't think it's so simple for you just to distance yourself from the village.

The Third Hokage can clearly see that Konoha's current strength is weakened.

During the Third Shinobi War, Konoha faced four villages at once.

The village is already strained, and now it's facing a situation similar to that of the Third War. Without the Uchiha in the village, Konoha might not be able to survive."

Hiashi looked at Fugaku and continued, suggesting that the reason why the Third Hokage is targeting the Uchiha is not because he genuinely wishes to control them but because Konoha is on the brink of crisis and cannot endure without the Uchiha's power.

"He can't stop us. To be honest, nearly 80% of our clan members have already moved to the harbour dock. Only a few civilians remain, with the rest being shinobi. If we want to leave Konoha, they won't be able to prevent it."

Fugaku said calmly. There was something he left unsaid, something Yagami had mentioned: if the Third Hokage truly wanted to stop the Uchiha from leaving, then four Susanoo could be summoned atop the Hokage Rock to shake things up.

He wasn't sure what the waving of hands symbolized, but four Susanoo appearing on the Hokage Rock would certainly put immense pressure on the Third Hokage.

In Amegakure, within a secret underground chamber, the Gedo Statue sat cross-legged in a twisted posture while Tendo gazed at Obito, expressionless.

"Orochimaru leaked our information, and now you've shown yourself in Konoha. Do you realize what kind of trouble this could bring to us?"

Nagato was always cautious of this collaborator; in fact, among the current members of the Akatsuki, he trusted no one but Konan.

"Hmph! The Konoha shinobi may come after me, but the other villages are targeting you for your eyes. I'm not the only one whose information was leaked."

Obito said in a low voice. Compared to Nagato, he had access to far more intelligence with Black Zetsu by his side.

"You don't need to worry too much.

That old man Danzo used Wood Release in Konoha.

Compared to your elusive Rinnegan, the other four villages will certainly be more interested in that.

Perhaps another war will erupt.

When the shinobi world weakens again, we can proceed with our plan to collect the Tailed Beasts."

Obito continued, explaining that the Akatsuki organization's inactivity so far was largely due to its own limited strength.

However, strength is a matter of perspective. While they maintained their original power, a weakening of the five great villages would, in effect, increase their own strength.

"I hope so! There will be an organizational meeting later. Aren't you going to attend?"

Tendo asked indifferently. Obito remained a mystery within the Akatsuki organization. Apart from Nagato and Konan, no one knew of his existence, and even Orochimaru only discovered it by chance.

"I'll attend in a bit! Though I won't be able to stay hidden for long, I still need to make preparations."

Obito replied, somewhat frustrated. Orochimaru had informed Konoha about his existence, leaving him little choice but to abandon secrecy.

But now, with his eyes not yet reclaimed, Nagato would be difficult to control.

If he were to appear openly within the Akatsuki without a way to ensure control over Nagato, things could turn chaotic.

After all, the Akatsuki was still under Nagato and Konan's leadership. Obito remained in the shadows so that the two would align with his plans as much as possible. It also allowed him to carry out his own operations.

In Konoha, at the Uchiha district, Tsunade looked upon the Uchiha compound, which had lost its former vibrance. She wanted to say something to Yagami, who stood beside her, but the words wouldn't come.

The Uchiha merely distanced themselves from Konoha without seeking revenge. This was already a fortunate outcome.

Thus, even though she had been aware of the Uchiha's movements for some time, she said nothing. She simply watched as Yagami sent away groups of people until, finally, the Uchiha district was largely deserted
