-5- First Crew Member .

Luff grabbed Gin's head who had fallen to the ground and pulled him towards the mast before he started to wake him up.

"I must have hit you earlier without realizing it, come on wake up, I don't have much time." Luff slapped Gin's face repeatedly until he showed signs of waking up.

"Huh, what's going on? Why is everyone lying on the ground? I was fighting the intruder earlier before everything suddenly went black." Gin gradually remembered what had happened a few minutes ago and looked around.

"Captain Don Craig, are you okay?" As soon as he saw the injured Don Krieg, he shouted with a worried face and completely ignored Luff who was standing in front of him.

"You've finally woken up, I was afraid my slap would damage your brain ." Luff said after seeing Jin waking up.

Gin was surprised to see Luff next to him and noticed him for the first time, he immediately crawled backwards until his back bumped into the ship's mast.

"You...you what do you want? We didn't do anything to you but you attacked us and killed our comrades and even hurt Captain Don Krieg!!" Gin pointed his finger as he shouted at Luff.

"What are you talking about? We are all pirates, do we need a reason to do something!! But you're right, I came here today for a specific reason" Luff said and pointed his finger at Gin on the ground.

"I came specifically for you, I want you to join my crew and be my right hand" Luff announced without any shame as if this was the usual way to recruit crew members.

This Gin was the Gin two years before Luffy went to sea and it had been 3 months since he joined Don Krieg's pirates and he had already taken a liking to Don Krieg.

However, Luff still wanted him to join his crew as his right hand, Gin was a good and reliable person and didn't deserve to waste his potentials staying with Don Krieg.

Hearing what Luff said, Gin and Don Krieg were surprised, they didn't expect that Luff would attack them to recruit Gin .

Don Krieg didn't have a great impression of Gin and didn't know what made him different from others for Luff to attack them for him, but he felt an unjustified anger against Gin.

He couldn't do anything against Luff, even his poison bomb that he was proud of was of no use, so in this situation his anger against Luff was of no use, so he directed his anger and hatred towards the weak Gin.

"No!! I will never join you, I am a member of the Don Krieg Pirates and I will never betray them." Gin said categorically, denying the possibility of joining Luff, despite the short time he spent in the Don Krieg Pirates, he was a person with iron loyalty.

"Oh, if you won't join me because you are a member of the Don Krieg Pirates, then that's easy, all I have to do is destroy the entire Don Krieg Pirates and then you will join me naturally." Luff tilted his head and showed a smart expression as he said.

His words were heard by all the crew members who were still conscious, even Don Krieg quickly turned pale and seized this chance to survive, as long as he expelled Gin from his crew, there might be a chance to survive.

However, whet really broke him was Don Krieg .

"Gin, from this moment onwards, I, Don Krieg, Captain of the Don Krieg Pirates, hereby declare that you are dismissed from the crew." Despite the pain all over his body, Don Krieg gritted his teeth and shouted at the top of his lungs, announcing to the world.

Gin's gaze shattered and he felt as if the world had betrayed him, the captain he looked up to had dismissed him just like that.

"That's great, you did a good job Don Krieg, now he can join my crew without any worries." Luff laughed out loud and a smile spread across his face as he put a firm grip on Gin's shoulder.

"Now Don Krieg, you've made me happy so I'll let you go." Luff said with a smile that made Don Krieg's face light up.

"Really, thank you, sir." His heart was relieved upon hearing Luff's words and he quickly stood up and was heading to leave without looking back. He didn't care about the ship he was standing on, the other ship, or the treasures on board at all. He just wanted to get away from here as much as possible.

"Wait." Luff suddenly said in a cold voice.

A shiver ran through the departing crew and they turned to Luff.

The smile on Luff's face disappeared as he said in a cold voice.

"Throw the bodies into the sea or take them with you. You didn't expect me to do it myself, right?" Upon hearing Luff's words, Don Krieg and the crew members moved and carried the fallen members bodies and threw them to the sea before jumping after them .

Only Luff and Gin were left on the deck.

"Huh, this is great ,I got two ships and a first member so quickly, it's only been three days since I left my island, my luck is really good." Luff raised his hands in the sky and jumped for joy, beside him Gin was still sitting on the ground in sadness.

Luff didn't care about Gin at the moment, instead he let him handle the situation on his own and headed to the cabins inside.

"I wonder what kind of treasures are on Don Krieg's ship." Luff looked at the cabins one by one.

Most of them were the crew's sleeping quarters, in addition to a kitchen, a gun room, and a storeroom.

There was nothing in the storeroom other than food supplies, some ammunition, and rifle swords.

The quantity wasn't large, and it wasn't small at the same time, but that didn't satisfy Luff.

"Don Krieg will form a fleet of 50 ships and 5,000 men in the future, there must be a lot of money to support such a fleet, although it is possible to collect it in the future, he must have had some capital at the beginning."

Luff searched all the rooms until he reached the last one. The door was closed and it was impossible to enter.

"This is most likely Don Krieg's room, a man like Don Krieg would not trust his crew and would hide the valuables he obtained near him." Luff guessed and raised his hand and punched the door.

The door easily broke and revealed a room inside, Luff could immediately see three boxes in the corner.

"Huh, you're here then." Luff stepped forward and opened the first box.

The first box was filled with jewels and gems, shining with a light of different colors.

"Hahaha, so many jewels must bring in a lot of money."

Luff opened the second box and this time there was a lot of gold inside.

"Lots of gold coins, Don Craig must have found some pirate treasure," Luff said as he set his sights on the third chest.

The third chest wasn't as impressive as the other two chests as it had banknotes inside instead of gold or jewels, when counted there were 10 million belly inside.

"These three boxes combined should be worth around 30 million belly, because of this money Don Krieg was able to build that big crew in just two years"

"But now all this money belongs to me alone, hahaha" Luff laughed happily as he looked at the scene in front of him, his assets had increased by 30 million belly, how could he not be happy about that.

After that, Luff searched the entire room and managed to find a treasure map, a blueprint of the entrance Grand Line, and a special sword.

"It's obvious why Don Krieg wanted to go to the Grand Line, it's all because of this map" Luff said as he hid the map and treasure map inside his clothes, he would take a look at the treasure map later.

Luff held the sword in his hand and took a look at it, its sheath was green with a slight curve, its handle was decorated with white and green and it had a white buckle that was curved like a crescent moon.

Luff took the blade out of the sheath and took a look at it, the blade was white with a watery Madariba pattern on its surface.

"A new sword, from the looks of it it looks like a famous sword, I'll stop by the store and buy an encyclopedia on famous swords later." Luff sheathed the sword and placed it on his waist next to Yubashiri.

Luff picked up the three boxes and returned to the deck, there it seemed that Gin had regained some sense.

"Why did you choose me? Why do you want me to be your right hand ? " He asked in a weak voice but Luff was able to hear him .

"There's really no specific reason, I saw you and liked you so I decided to recruit you in my crew, it's that simple." Luff said as he lowered the wooden boxes to the ground then turned to Gin and said.

"Don't think about it too much, it's that simple, you're now the first member of my pirate group so be proud of it, of course if you want to leave the crew you can, if you defeat me of course." Luff said as he laughed out loud.

"This is the pirate way, we take the things we like."

Gin seemed to gain a new sense and felt surprised at the same time, he let out a heavy breath before accepting his fate.

"Now come and help me transport these supplies and treasures, we will move to the other ship." Luff said in a stern voice.

"Okay, Captain." Gin said with a sigh.

Luff smiled in response.
