Chapter 47: The Chaos Lord’s Triumph and Trial
The morning after Raja's unparalleled victory and Voldemort's resurrection, Hogwarts was in complete chaos. The halls were filled with frantic whispers, stunned gasps, and the constant rustling of newspapers spreading the news.
The Triwizard Champion was not Harry Potter, but Raja Rudra.
The Ministry, the DMLE, noble families, and every major government official had gathered in Hogwarts, demanding answers.
The Daily Prophet had already printed sensational headlines about the "Boy Who Lived and the Chaos Lord Battling the Dark Lord."
The Great Hall was filled with dignitaries and journalists, all waiting for an explanation. As the murmurs grew louder, Raja casually strolled onto the stage, dressed impeccably in his custom-embroidered Slytherin robes, sipping a cup of tea.
He looked over the restless crowd, smirked, and raised his hand for silence.
"I know you're all dying to hear the truth," he said, taking another slow sip. "But rather than waste time with words, allow me to show you."
With a snap of his fingers, Dobby, ever the loyal butler, materialized beside him and activated a massive projection screen.
As the magical recording began playing, an eerie silence fell over the room.
The footage showed everything:
The resurrection ritual of Voldemort in a dark graveyard.
The arrival of the Death Eaters, bowing before their master.
Voldemort, in his reborn form, delivering his grand speech about conquering the wizarding world.
Harry, terrified but standing his ground.
Raja, lounging in a chair, casually munching on popcorn, watching the whole thing unfold.
The fight. Raja and Voldemort clashing in a spectacular duel, spells flying in every direction, Voldemort's curses being countered effortlessly.
Dobby, silently massacring Death Eaters in the background, dispatching them like an unstoppable force.
Voldemort's growing frustration, his shock at being outmatched, and finally, his decision to retreat.
As the screen faded to black, the hall remained silent for a few seconds before erupting into deafening applause.
The sheer disbelief, awe, and terror in the room were palpable.
Minister Fudge was the first to stand, looking as though he had aged ten years overnight.
"You mean to tell me," he said, voice shaking, "that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has returned?"
Raja took another sip of his tea, setting the cup down with an audible clink. "Oh no, Minister. I just like LARPing in graveyards at midnight while dodging Killing Curses for fun."
Fudge slumped back into his seat, rubbing his temples. "I need a drink."
Rita Skeeter, quill already scratching furiously on her parchment, shot forward eagerly. "Mr. Kumara, what does it feel like to be Hogwarts' most powerful wizard?"
Raja stretched dramatically. "First of all, let's correct that. I'm not just Hogwarts' most powerful wizard." He paused, waiting for the tension to build. "I'm also the most handsome."
The Slytherin table erupted into cheers.
An Auror hesitantly raised his hand. "You fought the Dark Lord… and survived?"
Raja swirled his tea, considering. "Survived? No. Won? Yes. The snake-faced twat ran away."
Dobby, ever the dedicated assistant, muttered under his breath, "Cowardmort."
McGonagall sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Mr. Kumara, could you please be more professional?"
Raja smirked. "But Professor, I AM being professional. As a professional menace."
Later that afternoon, Raja called Daphne and Astoria Greengrass for a private meeting.
Dobby, in his formal butler attire, led them into a hidden underground lab filled with enchanted scanners, glowing runic mirrors, and floating magical blueprints.
Raja, now wearing a white alchemist's coat, stood before them with a clipboard.
"I need you both to change into the medical gowns provided," he said matter-of-factly.
The sisters, who were definitely not expecting this, turned beet red.
"W-WHAT?!" Daphne stammered.
"Y-YOU PERVERT!" Astoria added, instinctively covering herself.
Dobby politely coughed. "The gowns are necessary for medical examination, young mistresses. I have prepared a private changing room for your comfort."
Muttering under their breath, the sisters hurried into the room.
Once they returned, still blushing furiously, Raja looked them over with a neutral expression, then asked Daphne to lie down on the scanning table. Without hesitation, Daphne complied, unsure of what was to come. Next, Astoria followed suit, her apprehension growing with every passing moment. After a few minutes of silence, Raja's brows furrowed.
The scanning devices whirred to life, and the plates hummed as they scanned their bodies, looking for any lingering magical anomalies. Raja collected some of their blood samples and, after a moment's pause, asked them to dress again. Once they were properly clothed, Dobby escorted them to the garden for tea while Raja remained in the room, analyzing the results.
After examining the scans, Raja confirmed his suspicions—both sisters were cursed, with a blood-borne curse that had been placed upon them. Daphne's curse was dormant, but Astoria's was active and wreaking havoc on her system. Worse, both could pass this curse down to their descendants if left untreated.
In the garden, the sisters looked up at Raja as he arrived, now dressed casually. They blushed at the sight of him, but Raja, with a playful smile, reminded them that they had already seen him in much less clothing during Task 2 of the Triwizard Tournament, which caused them to blush even harder.
Dobby handed Raja a steaming cup of tea, and Raja sat with the sisters, explaining their situation in full detail
"Daphne, your curse is dormant," he said. "Astoria… yours is active."
The girls froze. Astoria's breath hitched as tears welled up in her eyes.
"Does this mean… I won't live long?" she whispered.
Raja, leaning back in his chair, cracked his knuckles and smiled. "Oh, stop being dramatic. I can fix it."
The sisters instantly tackled him in a hug, smothering him with kisses before running off to tell their father.
Raja spent the entire next day preparing for the cure, gathering:
Phoenix Blood Pills
Unicorn Blood for the Ritual Circle
Ice Herb Recovery Potions
He summoned his unicorn, Badasha, who willingly gave his blood.
Next, he called for Fawkes.
"You have to fight me for it," the phoenix said smugly.
They battled for ten minutes before the bird reluctantly surrendered.
"You sexist bird," Raja muttered as he collected the blood.
That night, in the Chamber of Secrets, Raja drew a massive runic array, placing the sisters inside.
As soon as he administered the Phoenix Blood Pills, their bodies ignited in magical fire.
The Blood-Born Curse violently resisted, trying to escape their bodies.
The chamber filled with black mist as the curse desperately clawed at the magical barrier.
"Oh no, you don't," Raja growled. "You freeloading parasite."
He unleashed a controlled version of Fiendfyre, burning the curse into nothingness.
The sisters collapsed, weakened but alive.
Dobby immediately administered Phoenix Tears and Ice Pills to stabilize their bodies.
The next morning, Mr. Greengrass stormed into Hogwarts, demanding Raja's arrest.
Dumbledore barely managed to calm him down before he called Aurors to take Raja into custody.
"Give me a week," Raja requested. "If the girls are not fine, I'll surrender."
Mr. Greengrass didn't listen but dumble's explained if the kid wants to flee, nobody in the world can stop him. He performed the ritual, and he knows the process and asked him to give a week's time.
Mr. Greengrass reluctantly agreed.
One week later, Daphne and Astoria woke up, fully healed.
Their first action?
They stormed the Hogwarts dungeons and found Raja sitting like a beggar.
Dobby stood outside without moving an Inch, burning with silent fury.
"Say the word, my lord," Dobby whispered. "And I will destroy them all."
Raja, looking up at the sisters, grinned weakly. "Hey… how are you feeling?"
The sisters burst into tears, tackled him in a hug, and demanded his immediate release.
Dobby, ever the faithful butler, teleported him straight to the infirmary.
Dobby asked Madam Pomfrey to administer treatment, after his lord his cared and slept like a baby, he took a potion and drank it and fell at his Lord feet for a sleep.
Two days later, Raja was summoned to Dumbledore's office.
Inside, waiting for him were:
Dumbledore & the professors.
The Greengrass family.
Madam Bones, head of the DMLE.
Dumbledore steepled his fingers, eyes twinkling.
Dobby fully recovered, looking at the Mr. Greengrass with killing Intent Mrs. Greengrass got scared.
Raja commanded to restrain his killing intent. Due to the ladies getting scared, Dobby, ever the gentleman, restrained himself and snorted.
Dumble's "Raja… we need to talk."
Raja, stretching, grinned. "Sure, but let's make it interesting."
To be continued…
