Percy's Pokemon Adventure

Chapter 51: Chapter 50

Percy and Pharaoh stalked a group of Rattata and a Raticate in the semi darkness of the setting sun. Percy had decided to go to the Rattata territory since he knew that they had taken a big hit in their strength.

He also knew that the Raticate would refrain from sending out talented individuals. The density of higher potential Pokémon would be at its highest right now and Percy intended to make a good deal of money.

He wanted to use Crash and Fúria but they were both very tired and wouldn't be of much use. Pharaoh was all he could rely on. So he was prowling the Rattata territory picking off singular Pokémon or scanning the group for high potential Pokémon.

Most of the time the Pokémon wouldn't travel alone so Percy would have to stalk a group for many minutes to catch one alone. On average Rattata have a low average potential so Percy would be extremely lucky to find anything above Light Red.

After about an hour of looking and picking off solo Pokémon Percy was scanning a group of Raticate and Rattata when he found something interesting. A group of 5 Rattata and 2 Raticate slept peacefully in a small nest.

It seemed Percy had stumbled upon one of the smaller nests in the territory belonging to a family of Pokemon. One of the Raticate parents were awake and watching their surroundings vigilantly.

Percy did a full circle around scanning all the Pokémon in the nest. What he had found was that this nest in particular was pretty talented as a whole. Both parents were Dark Orange potential while 2 of the Rattata were Dark Yellow, two more were Light Orange and the last one was Light Red.

The levels of the Raticate were 24 and 25 and the Rattata are leveled from 14-18. After Percy made sure that the Raticate had not seen him he started to cook up a plan to get the Rattata without confronting the whole nest with just one Pokémon.

As Percy was thinking the Raticate that was awake, woke up the other Raticate and slept. 'I should go now while the other one is still groggy.' Percy thought to himself. He had Pharaoh use Agility as much as he could. Once Pharaoh was done he directed Pharaoh on what the plan was.

"Just dash in there and grab that Rattata,"Percy pointed at the one he wanted, "and get out of there as fast as possible. Don't kill it, I still need it. I will draw their attention for a second. Once you do it just leave and lose their trail. Go when I start distracting." Pharaoh understood and left to get a better angle.

Percy didn't have to do anything crazy to distract the Pokémon. Since only one Raticate was awake he just needed to pull its attention away enough to make it react slower. He didn't want to wake the rest of the Pokémon up and cause problems.

Percy got to his spot and grabbed a stone off of the ground. He rolled it within sight of the Raticate. The Raticate groggily stood up and waddled to examine where the stone had came from.

Once the Raticate got close enough Pharaoh burst from the other side of the grass and grabbed the sleeping Rattata by its neck. He ran back to the grass to escape. The Raticate turned around to see Pharaoh disappearing through the grass.

Percy lunged out of the grass and kicked the Raticate in the ass. It was stunned slightly and shrieked in pain. Percy escaped into the grass and headed toward the meetup location. The Raticate quickly woke up it's family and chased after Pharaoh.

But Pharaoh was long gone with the extra speed from Agility. The Rattata had struggled in Pharaohs mouth but was quickly knocked out by the flames in his mouth. Pharaohs mouth heated up until it blew flames knocking the Rattata out.

Percy and Pharaoh saw each other and made a dart toward one another. Percy caught the Rattata with a pokeball and thanked Pharaoh before returning him. Percy quickly and stealthily made his way back to the town. Meanwhile the Raticates have lost all track of their child.

One of the Raticate hit the one on watch in anger before returning to its nest. Percy arrived at the town Pokémon Center. It looked a lot different than the other Pokémon Center he's seen.

It was just a two floor building painted in poor white paint with a Red Cross on it. The entrance seemed to be empty of people which made sense since it was almost 11pm. Percy walked through the doors and looked around the building.

A single desk with one very tired looking receptionist was the only thing in the room. Percy walked toward the desk making eye contact with the nurse. "Hi." He said.

"What can I get for you sir." The young nurse smiled slightly.

"Can you heal my Pokémon he's a little injured."

"May I see the pokeball." Percy handed the pokeball to the receptionist. She pressed a button on her desk and another nurse came in to take Percys pokeball. "You may sit down over there, your Pokémon will be healed in a couple of minutes."

Percy nodded and sat at a lone chair in the corner of the room. He waited for a minute until a couple of trainers walked through the door. Any person coming into a Pokémon center at this time of night is no normal person.

One man and one woman walked past Percy apparently missing his existence. The corner he was in was poorly lit so it made sense they didn't see him. Percy thought he heard them whisper, "Remember the plan, just take out the equipment." Percys hand hovered over his pokeball belt.

He held his breath as the people approached the reception desk. "How can I-." The receptionist started but was interrupted by the trainers throwing Pokeballs across the desk.

"Heal these." The trainer woman said. The balls rolled off the desk and onto the ground. The receptionist sighed and bent over to pick up the balls.

Meanwhile the trainers reached to their belt and released one Pokémon each. A Spearow and an Ekans appeared next to the man and woman respectively. Percys face tightened as the snake jumped at the bent over receptionists neck.

The snake sunk its fangs in her neck and injected poison into its victim. She fell unconscious almost immediately without making a noise. Both trainers quickly went to the door where the nurse had come from. Percy silently stood up and moved to the receptionists side spraying her neck with antidote.

Percy could hear the sounds of screaming and smashing of medical equipment. Percy reached into his Pokédex and pulled out the Koffing mask that Zach had made. He slipped the mask over his face and stood up releasing Fúria. Fúria wasn't super tired and she could fight for a little bit without tiring out.

Percy checked the womans vitals and after making sure she was going to be semi okay, he stood up and trudged toward the door of the back room. 'What kind of fucking people would attack a Pokémon Center.' Percy thought to himself, his vision turning red. 'Dead men.' His breath was slightly labored by the Koffing mask.

He burst through the door to see both strangers standing with their backs to him. Their Pokémon raged around the room destroying equipment that must've costed a fortune to install in this town.

Liquids littered the ground along with broken glass. In a corner two nurses cowered in fear as the Pokémon recklessly plowed through anything in the room. The woman trainer turned around to the door opening. "What the hel-." Before she could finish her sentence a fist violently smashed into her temple slamming her head into the wall. The man turned around fearfully looking at the figure with the Koffing mask.

Percy watched as the man commanded his Spearow to use Gust on Percy. Normally Spearow can't use Gust so the Gust was weak only pushing Percy back out the door. The man burst back out the door making a run for the main entrance.

His Spearow followed him but Fúria jumped and caught the bird in her hands. Fúria banged the birds head repeatedly into the ground knocking it out. Percy decided not to immediately follow the man but to check on the situation in the room.

A pool of blood pooled around the womans head that had been bashed in from the contact with the wall. Percy stepped over her and stared her Ekans down. The Ekans had stopped moving once it's trainer had been knocked out. Clearly the relationship between them was poor.

The Ekans decided to slither past Percy to escape from the building. Percy let the Ekans go but instead searched for his Rattata. He picked up a pokeball and asked the nurses shivering in the corner in a gruff voice "Is this the Rattata?" The nurses could barely squeeze out a nod before passing out cold.

Percy backed out the room before returning to the main area where Fúria was beating in the skull of the Spearow. "Let's go." Percy called out to Fúria and left the building with her in tow. "Which way did he go." Percy asked Fúria. She sniffed the air and set off in front of Percy in a direction.

The moonlight reflected off of Percys eyes under the purple mask. A couple of seconds later Percy could hear the sound of labored breathing in front of him. The silhouette of the man hobbled as his poorly built body broke down from the small amount of exertions. Fúria reached the man first.

She punched his leg normally breaking it clean in half. The man screamed in pain as he crumpled to the floor. Percy reached the man and immediately stifled the screaming. He tore a piece of clothing from the mans shirt and stuffed it into the mans mouth.

His screams became completely stuffed and could barely be heard. Percy picked the man up by his armpits and dragged him away from the Main Street of the town.

The man struggled profusely but wasn't able to get any real progress because of his leg. By now tears streamed down the mans face in the darkness as he realized what was happening to him.

Percy reached a dark alley of the town where he set the man down on the ground. "I'm gonna ask you some questions if you don't mind cooperating." Percy whispered into the mans ear. He removed the cloth from his mouth but the man started screamed for help.

A violent slap from Percy shut the man up quickly. "Don't try. Why did you attack the Pokémon Center?"

The man scowled as sweat dripped down his forehead. "Eat my dick." Percy pulled his leg back and stomped on the mans crotch. The man started to scream but cloth was shoved back in his mouth muffling his desperate screams of pain.

Percy waited a moment while the man recovered from the attack. Once the man stopped rolling on the ground Percy removed the cloth once more. "Why did you attack the Pokémon Center to only destroy the equipment." Percy demanded.

The man smirked his face covered in snot, tears and sweat. "Go fuck yourself." Percys face remained neutral beneath the Koffing mask. He pressed a button on one of the pokeballs on his belt. Jormun appeared next to Percy.

Percy pointed at the man on the ground and said "Wrap his chest." Jormun slithered toward the man and wrapped herself around his chest. She slowly pulled closer and closer constricting the mans lungs and making it difficult for him to breath.

A couple seconds later his ribs groaning under the pressure. The man panicked and squirmed under the pressure making Jormun squeeze tighter and tighter. "Stop." Percy raised a hand to Jormun and she stopped squeezing but kept her pressure.

Percy kneeled next to the man. "Answer or things will become bloodier." The mans breath was ragged and his eye lids fluttered. He groaned but remained silent. "Why did you do it."

"I will tell you just get…it off of me." He groaned.

Percy got Jormun off of the man. "Tell."

"Okay. I'm a Team Rocket member. I was told by my captain to go and destroy all the equipment in the Pokémon Center and put it out of service." The man got out.

He paused after almost every word because of shortness of breath. "Why did they order you to put the Pokémon Center out of commission." Percy questioned.

The man took a weak breath and explained, "Our captain heard of the large amount of megastones that were discovered in this shitty town and came here to rob all of the them.

He told me and Trisha to go to the Pokémon Center and disable it so people won't be able to get healed after we attack and therefore make it more difficult to pursue us. That's all." The man set his head down to dull some of the pain in his broken leg.

"When and where are they attacking." Percy said.

"Will you let me go if I tell you." The man begged. The man took a deep breath and said "They will attack tomorrow at 8 o'clock at night. It'll be a raid with three Elite Members and 20 members. 30 grunts will come to help pack up all the loot and take and escort it away." The man sat back exhausted. He smiled a little bit, "So you'll let me go?"

Before he could look at the man in the Koffing mask a vicious kick slammed into his temple. The man fell to the ground as Percy repeatedly kicked at his head. Once Percy decided that the man had been beaten enough he stood back admiring his work.

If the man had been able to warn his team that their plan had been leaked than Percy would've had a little trouble. So giving him a major concussion felt like the best option. Percy returned his Pokémon and removed the Koffing mask from his face.

He backed out the alley wiping the blood from his shoe. Quickly he made his way back to the house where Ishigami was up on his Pokédex sitting on a dining room chair. "Oh what's up Percy." Ishigami greeted Percy.

"I found a light red potential Rattata today. But I guess I'll have to wait until I get to a gym to sell it." Percy commented. He also pulled out some Rattata and Raticate bodies to gift to Ishigami. Suddenly someone knocked on the door of the house.

Ishigami and Percy stood up to answer the door. Ishigami opened the door to a man in Ranger clothing. "Hello sirs. Recently there had been an attack on the Pokémon Center. Both perpetrators have been found. One had died while the other is in a coma. But what I'm here for is that the witnesses saw a man in a Koffing mask kill one and chase away the other. We have to find the man for questioning so keep an eye out for him." The man explained.

"Of course sir. We'll keep an eye out." Ishigami assured the man.

"Thank you. Have a good night."

Ishigami closed the door and turned to Percy. "What the hell." Percy sat down at the dining room and explained to Ishigami what had happened. He had decided to use the mask since he didn't want to have to see the consequences of his actions.

He knew he wouldn't hold back and would do some unpleasant things. So it made sense to hide his identity to do his work. "How did you kill one of them?" Ishigami asked.

Percy thought for a second, "He didn't say who died but I assume it was the woman. I punched her and her head slammed into the wall. She crumpled and I didn't really pay attention." Ishigami seemed to not be bothered too much by the information.

When he had learned that the attackers were part of Team Rocket he had lost a lot of sympathy. "So what do you plan on doing about them stealing the megastones." Ishigami said. His Duskull floated over his head.

"I'm not sure. I want to anonymously tip the miners off but I'm not sure that will fix the problem. Team Rocket will notice that the security is tighter and might just put it off.

And if I catch wind of it again the anonymous tip will be ignored since the first one was a bust. We can try contacting the other Prodigies for help but I'm sure they are occupied with their own things." Percy ran his hands through his hair and sat back. According to the man a very large amount of people are going to be attacking the place where the cache of megastones is.

5 people always watched the cache switching out on shifts. Their Pokémon would be at about level 25 and decently trained. From what Percy knows Team Rocket members usually have Pokémon at level 20 or below. He knew this from his encounter with Team Rocket a while ago.

He had yet to battle against an elite member but he imagine they would be of similar strength to him. And grunts didn't have any Pokémon and were used for solely physical labor. Meaning they would have to defend against 23 people with Pokémon.

If the men aren't expecting it they could possiblly be wiped out with well placed attacks. "I think we can contact a couple of prodigies. Some of them are staying in Oakdale City so they can get teleported here. They're not that busy and Marcus can teleport them if they aren't too far away." Ishigami smiled.
