Phoenix Reborn In One Piece

Chapter 158: Chapter 158: The Shandia and Skypieans Reconcile

After spending most of the day in Shandora, the Dream Crew finally left.

By now, the sky was gradually darkening, the sun slowly sinking in the west, painting the horizon with a soft, golden sunset.

The clouds around them, close enough to touch, were also bathed in a warm golden glow, making the view even more breathtaking.

"Ryuen, the Shandia and the Skypieans are still waiting. How do you plan to settle their 400-year conflict?" Nojiko asked, admiring the beautiful scene before turning to Ryuen.

The others also looked at Ryuen, their eyes filled with curiosity and anticipation.

Earlier today, they had learned from Gan Fall just how deeply both the Shandia and Skypieans cared about "Birka"—their land.

For 400 years, they had fought endlessly, even at the cost of their lives.

"They should just share it. There aren't that many of them anyway. If they refuse, then neither side should get it," Ryuen said casually.

The rest of the Dream Crew nodded in agreement.

After all, they weren't responsible for solving this long-standing feud.

Angel Beach.

The Shandia warriors were restless.

The craftsmen had just returned with news:

The Dream Crew had come for the gold.

Hearing this, Wiper and the other Shandia warriors could no longer stay calm.

Because the Golden Bell...

Was also made of gold!

If the Dream Crew took it, what would happen to their promise with Mont Blanc Noland?

"Chief!"

"We have to stop them! If the Golden Bell is taken away, we'll be breaking our promise!" Weipa said anxiously.

"That's right, Chief! We can't wait any longer! Even if it costs our lives, we must protect the Golden Bell!" Kamakiri said in a deep voice.

The chief found it hard to make a decision. On one hand, there was a promise that had lasted for over 400 years. On the other, there were the lives of all the Shandia people.

Someone who could defeat Enel so easily and had a clear goal of taking Upper Yard's gold was unlikely to give up without a fight.

If a battle broke out, the Shandia had no chance of winning. But if they lost the Golden Bell, their 400-year promise would be broken...

"Wait a little longer... until nightfall," the chief said in a hoarse voice.

Hearing this, Weipa, Kamakiri, and the other Shandia warriors had no choice but to hold back their frustration.

On the other side, the Sky Islanders weren't as impatient as the Shandia. Thanks to Gan Fall's reassurance, they believed that no matter the outcome, they would definitely get Bas.

Time passed, and the sky turned completely dark. But on Angel Beach, neither side had left.

Both the Sky Islanders and the Shandia used numerous light shells to illuminate the area, making the beach as bright as day.

Just as the Shandia were running out of patience and about to head for Upper Yard, a loud noise echoed across the White Sea.

"Yo~~~"

"Why do you all look so tense? Planning a rebellion?"

A cold voice came from the dark sky, accompanied by an overwhelming aura.

In an instant, the Shandia warriors, who were just about to step forward, froze in fear. At that moment, they felt the presence of death.

It was Ryuen.

"The Golden Bell?"

On the Dream, Nami's eyes lit up when she saw Ryuen holding a massive bell.

When they were about to head back to Angel Island, Ryuen had said he wanted to check out the top of the giant vine, so they returned first.

Now, seeing him carrying the Golden Bell, they were all shocked.

With a loud thud, Ryuen landed on Angel Beach and placed the Golden Bell on the shore.

"The Golden Bell!"

"Chief, it's the Golden Bell!"

The moment the Shandia saw the bell, they couldn't hold back their excitement.

"Hey!"

"Ryuen, that's so unfair! You sent us away just so you could go treasure hunting alone!"

As soon as the Dream docked, Anya stormed over, looking furious.

"Enough, we have serious business to handle," Ryuen said, his face darkening.

This woman... one sentence from her ruined the powerful presence he had just built up.

"Pfft~~~"

"Ah! I didn't mean to!"

Aisa couldn't hold back and burst into laughter.

Hearing her, Ryuen's face darkened even more.

"Oh no... oh no..."

"We're doomed... Aisa made him angry. What do we do...?"

The Shandia warriors, seeing Ryuen's expression turn even uglier, became terrified. They were afraid he might kill them all out of anger.

Even the Sky Islanders on the other side held their breath in fear.

"Kid, do you think I'm funny? Want me to throw you off the sky island?" Ryuen said coldly, looking at Aisa.

"N-No... it's not funny..."

"N-No! That's not what I meant! But... I know you were just pretending!" Aisa stammered.

After saying that, she quickly hid behind Laki.

She had just heard Ryuen's thoughts, which told her he wasn't actually going to harm them.

"Kid, you've got some guts, daring to mock me..." Ryuen said with a fierce look.

"Hahaha!"

"Ryuen, stop scaring her. She's such a cute little angel. What's your name?" Nami looked at Aisa with a soft expression.

"Her name is Aisa," Laki said, staying alert as she protected Aisa.

"So boring. Alright, since everyone's here... Gan Fall, Shandia Chief, come forward," Ryuen said casually, rolling his eyes at Nami.

Gan Fall and the Shandia Chief exchanged glances before stepping out from their respective groups.

"Ryuen, my boy, this...?"

Gan Fall looked at the massive Golden Bell behind Ryuen, puzzled.

He had lived on the sky island for so long, yet he had never seen this thing before.

"We'll talk about that later. Right now, let's deal with the issue between you two," Ryuen said seriously. "At the moment, I'm the strongest one here, so I'll make the decision.

From now on, Upper Yard will be shared by both sides. Everyone has the right to enter.

As for how you divide the land, that's up to you. Any objections?"

He swept a sharp gaze over the two elders.

"Shared ownership?"

"Everyone can go to the island of the gods?"

"Is this for real?"

"Does that mean we can also have those precious Bath?"

Before the two elders could respond, a wave of discussion erupted among the people.

"Ryuen, my boy, we from Skypiea have no problem with this!" Gan Fall quickly said.

"We Shandia also have no objections!" the chief agreed.

"Chief, the golden bell..." Wiper reminded anxiously from the Shandia group.

Ryuen shot a cold look at Wiper. This guy had been planning to ambush them when they first arrived at the White Sea.
