Phoenix Reborn In One Piece

Chapter 157: Chapter 157: Archaeologist Robin’s Excitement

"But Nami, what about the Ark Maxim? There's a lot of gold on it too." Ryuen pointed at the half-finished flying ship.

"Should we... dismantle it?" Anya suggested in a small voice.

"No way! We don't need that much gold right now. Let's just leave it and store it inside Nami's space for now." Hog quickly objected.

"Yeah, I agree. This way, whether we dismantle it or not, all the gold inside is still ours." Daisy nodded.

"Alright, that's settled. Nami, store it in your pocket dimension." Ryuen decided.

"Got it!" Nami responded immediately.

"Hey!"

"You're free now! Go home!" Ryuen turned and shouted to the craftsmen.

"We... we can really… go home?" An elderly man with a white beard asked in disbelief.

"That's right, you can go back now. Hurry up and leave." Ryuen waved his hand.

"Yes! Finally, we can go home!"

"Waaahhh~~~"

"Ever since Enel brought us here, I never had the chance to leave!"

"We can finally get out of here..."

Hearing Ryuen's confirmation, the craftsmen were overjoyed, some even hugging each other and crying tears of happiness.

"Um... excuse me, sir, what will you do with this airship?" the old man with the Whitebeard-style mustache asked.

As soon as he spoke, the other craftsmen fell silent.

They were free now, but this airship was also the result of their hard work. If it were to be dismantled, it would be heartbreaking for them.

"I can only tell you this—the airship won't stay as it is."

"This ship runs on a huge amount of electricity, and for us, it might only serve as a reference." Ryuen thought for a moment before answering.

"I see..."

"Thank you, sir. We understand." The old man's raspy voice carried a hint of regret.

The other craftsmen also looked a little disappointed after hearing Ryuen's response.

After they left, only the Dream Crew and the four priests Enel had left behind remained.

"You guys..." Ryuen turned to look at the four priests.

In an instant, they tensed up.

After all, this was the man who had defeated their god.

"Forget it. Go back to Angel Beach for now and wait for us there. But—no fighting, got it?" Ryuen's voice was cold as he gave his command.

There was an undeniable authority in his gaze that sent chills down their spines.

"Understood!"

"Yes, Ryuen-sama, we won't cause any trouble!"

"We'll leave right away."

The four priests exchanged glances, then quickly lowered their heads in submission.

They understood very well—now that their god was gone, whether they could continue living on Skypiea depended entirely on this man's mood.

Faced with such overwhelming power, obedience was their only choice.

"Go on, get out of here." Ryuen waved his hand impatiently, as if shooing away a bunch of annoying flies.

As if receiving a pardon, the priests didn't dare linger for even a second longer and quickly left Upper Yard.

With their departure, peace returned to the area.

"Alright, it's my turn now." Nami grinned.

She immediately opened a large spatial gate—big enough for the Ark Maxim to pass through.

After storing the ark inside the alternate space, they began preparing to descend in search of the lost city of gold, Shandora.

The Golden City Revealed!

"Wooow..."

As soon as they descended from the clouds and entered the lower levels, the Dream Crew gasped in awe.

Even Ryuen wasn't an exception—the sight before them was truly overwhelming.

Though much of the gold had been taken, a large portion still remained.

The ruins radiated an ancient brilliance, telling a story of a once-great civilization.

In front of them was a vast city, with golden buildings and streets shimmering under the sunlight.

The architectural style was unique, the city walls carved with intricate patterns that blended classical and modern elements, showcasing the grandeur and strength of an ancient civilization.

"So Shandora... really does exist..."

Robin murmured in shock, as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

To her, the history of this place was far more valuable than any treasure.

She gazed at the ancient, mysterious city, overwhelmed by endless curiosity and deep emotions.

This legendary city of gold was now right before her eyes, making her reflect even more on the true nature of history.

"So much treasure... We—we're rich!"

Nami's voice trembled with excitement and greed.

At some point, her eyes had turned into the shape of berries, sparkling with delight.

"Nami, these golden buildings and treasures—can you store them in your alternate space without damaging them?" Robin asked.

There was so much historical information hidden within these golden treasures, just waiting for her to uncover.

In Robin's opinion, the best thing would be to leave the gold untouched. But even if they didn't take it, someone else would in the future.

If they could make it here, others could too.

So they might as well take all the gold now.

"Of course! Don't worry, Robin, I won't damage any of the writing on them," Nami said with a smile.

With that, the Dream Crew followed Robin's lead, carefully moving the golden structures and treasures into Nami's alternate space.

"Hey, everyone! Look over here! This stone looks just like the Poneglyph we saw in Alabasta!" Leah suddenly shouted.

"Poneglyph?"

The Dream Crew turned toward Leah in shock.

For a moment, they stood frozen before rushing over to her.

Sure enough, embedded in the base of a structure was a Poneglyph!

"It really is a Poneglyph!"

"Robin, this is the second one we've found!"

"I never thought there would be a Poneglyph on Skypiea..."

Everyone was surprised, but at the same time, they felt happy for Robin.

After all, her dream was to find all the Poneglyphs.

Robin was overwhelmed with excitement.

She hadn't expected their luck to be this good—reaching Skypiea safely and even finding a Poneglyph here.

She also felt incredibly fortunate.

If she hadn't joined the Dream Exploration Team, she might never have seen the one in Alabasta, let alone this second one.

"I have come this far... I guide this text to its final destination. Pirate... Gol D. Roger?"

Robin's eyes widened in shock.

The Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, had also found this Poneglyph.

But how could Roger understand this ancient language?

The rest of the crew was just as surprised.

They knew Gol D. Roger had been to Skypiea, but they never imagined he could read the ancient text.

As Robin translated the Poneglyph, she became even more stunned.

One of the three ancient weapons, Poseidon...

Was actually the mermaid princess of Fish-Man Island!
