Please Feel At Ease Mr Luca

Chapter 5: CHAPTER FIVE MEET MY BOYFRIEND

The warm glow of the morning sun streamed through the curtains as Rhea stretched lazily in bed. It was the weekend, and after the chaotic night before, she had hoped for some peace.

Freshening up, she made her way to the living room, only to find Luca casually seated at the dining table, eating a bowl of fresh fruit.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," he greeted with a smirk.

She frowned, plopping down beside him. "Sleepyhead? Why would you call me that?"

He chuckled. "What else should I call someone who wakes up at 9 AM?"

She rolled her eyes. "I had a long night yesterday. What did you expect?"

As she reached for an apple, a sudden realization hit her like a bolt of lightning.

"Oh my God!" she exclaimed.

Luca looked up in confusion. "What?"

She stared at him. "I don't even know your name. Do you even know your name?"

His smirk faded. "I... I don't remember," he admitted, his tone more serious now.

Rhea's brows furrowed. "Your family must be looking for you. We have to find them."

She rubbed her chin, deep in thought. After a moment, her face lit up.

"Idea!"

Luca narrowed his eyes. "What idea?"

"I'll take a picture of you and post it online. I'll tag it as 'Looking for family.' Once your relatives see it, they'll reach out. Why didn't I think of this sooner?"

Before he could protest, she grabbed her phone and quickly snapped a picture.

"Perfect." She grinned, admiring the photo.

"Hey, don't post that!" Luca exclaimed, reaching for her phone.

She pulled it away. "Why not? Don't you want to find your family? Or do you just enjoy staying here and tormenting me?"

Luca snatched the phone from her hands in one swift motion.

"Hey! Give it back!" she huffed, reaching up to grab it.

But he lifted it higher, just out of her reach.

"Stop playing around!" she whined, trying to climb onto the chair for leverage.

In the midst of their struggle, she lost her balance and tumbled forward—straight onto Luca.

Their laughter stopped instantly.

She found herself lying on top of him, her hands pressed against his chest. Their faces were inches apart, breaths mingling. His playful expression softened, his gaze dropping to her lips before meeting her eyes again.

A moment of hesitation… then, he leaned in.

His lips brushed against hers, sending a shockwave through her body. Her eyes widened in surprise, but before she could react, he kissed her again—slower this time. His hand slid gently up her back, fingers threading through her hair.

Rhea's heart pounded in her chest. She should pull away. She should.

But she didn't.

Just as she was about to completely lose herself in the moment, her phone rang.

Reality snapped back into focus. She gasped and pushed away from him, snatching her phone from his grip.

"What?! It's the weekend! Why are we being called to work?" she blurted into the phone.

Hanging up, she turned back to Luca, her mind still reeling. They stared at each other, awkward tension filling the air.

Rhea cleared her throat, forcing a nervous smile. "Umm… sorry I fell on you."

Luca shifted in his seat, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's fine… sorry, too."

"Uh… let's just forget that happened. It was a mistake," she said quickly.

"Yeah. Sure," he murmured, looking away.

"There's an emergency at work. I have to go," she blurted, rushing to her room. She shut the door behind her, leaning against it as her heart raced.

She walked over to the mirror, touching her lips as the scene replayed in her head.

"No, no, no. I cannot be thinking about this. It was a mistake," she muttered, shaking her head furiously.

At Work

Rhea arrived at the office to find her boss waiting.

"Rhea, how are you?" he asked, smiling.

The room fell silent. Everyone stared in disbelief.

Since when does he ask us how we are?

Rhea, sensing the unusual attention, forced a polite smile. "I'm fine, sir."

"Good. Join your colleagues; I'll meet with you soon," he said before walking away.

As soon as he left, Tammy leaned in. "Hmmm. I think the boss has a crush on you."

Rhea scoffed. "Nonsense."

Tammy smirked. "Anyway, we were planning on visiting your house today."

Rhea's eyes widened. "What?! My house?"

"Yeah, it's your turn to host us. Have you forgotten?"

Panic gripped Rhea. They can't come! What if they see Luca?

"But I… I have a visitor," she blurted out.

Her colleagues exchanged glances.

"Visitor?" one of them asked.

Another gasped dramatically. "Or is it your boyfriend?"

They all burst into laughter.

Rhea fumbled for words. "I—uh—"

"Save it. We're coming over to meet your boyfriend," Tammy declared, grinning.

Before Rhea could protest, their boss reappeared.

"What's all the excitement about?" he asked.

"Sir, we're visiting Rhea's house today!"

Rhea stiffened.

"Oh?" The boss's smile lingered. "I think I'd love to join too."

Everyone gasped. Rhea's face paled.

"We'll take my car," he added.

Rhea's heart pounded. This is bad. This is really bad.

The Panic Call

The moment she found a private corner, she frantically dialed home.

Luca picked up.

"Hey, listen carefully," she whispered urgently. "My colleagues—and my boss—are coming over. Please, hide somewhere. They cannot see you!"

Luca was silent for a moment.

"Got it," he finally said.

Rhea swallowed hard, unsure whether to be relieved or more nervous.

The Unexpected Scene

The car pulled up to her apartment.

With every step toward her door, Rhea felt like she was walking toward her doom. Sweat trickled down her back.

She unlocked the door slowly, stepping inside with bated breath.

And then… she froze.

Her colleagues gasped.

Her boss's expression darkened.

Before them was an elegant dining setup—a long, luxurious table covered in expensive dishes and imported wine. Two suited bodyguards stood beside the table, their presence intimidating.

And at the center of it all sat Luca.

Dressed in a sharp black suit, he exuded effortless confidence.

"Please, have a seat," he said smoothly.

Rhea's breath caught in her throat.

What is happening?

Her colleagues were starstruck. "Wow, Rhea! Your boyfriend is so handsome—and rich!"

Rhea could barely move. She was too busy staring at Luca, trying to piece together what he had done.

"My name is Luca," he introduced himself. "I am Rhea's boyfriend."

Rhea nearly choked.

What?!

Her boss's frown deepened, his jaw clenching.

Dinner proceeded with laughter and excitement—except for Rhea, who sat frozen, still trying to process the madness unfolding before her.

Finally, Luca signaled one of his bodyguards, who handed each guest a luxurious gift bag.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Luca! It was a pleasure meeting you!" her colleagues gushed as they stood to leave.

Rhea saw them off, but even as the car disappeared into the distance, she remained rooted in place.

Her mind reeled.

Her pulse pounded.

She stared blankly at the night sky, still trying to comprehend what had just happened.
