Pokémon: A Trainer Who Masters the Six Powers from the Start

"Ralts, use Teleport to evade!"

A volley of Poison Stings zipped through the air, but Ralts disappeared in an instant.

Scanning the surroundings, the Ekans, having suffered several losses already, immediately searched for Ralts' new position.

With a base power of 90, Psychic's damage extended beyond Ekans' mind, inflicting severe physical harm.

Overwhelmed by unrelenting pain, Ekans desperately wished to collapse and remain still. However, seeing Ralts preparing another charge, Ekans stood firm once more.

Using its last reserves of strength, Ekans fired a feeble Poison Sting attack.

A green glow formed into a Leaf Blade, sweeping aside the Poison Sting with a blend of psychic power and precision.

Barely able to stay upright, Ekans was no match for Ralts' next attack.

With Leaf Blade, Ralts landed the finishing blow, defeating the Level 19 Ekans completely.

The accumulated experience propelled Ralts to take its final step, reaching Level 20.

Using Shave for a quick retreat, Machamp appeared to carry the defeated Ekans away.

Then, the light of evolution surrounded Ralts, enveloping it entirely.

Like a shark sensing blood, the fighting aura within Ron began to stir, sending strands of golden light into Ralts' evolving form.

Watching the evolution, Ron realized that Ralts' extraordinary psychic abilities might not only stem from its genetics but also from the influence of his fighting aura.

With Machamp keeping watch over the area, Ron felt assured of their safety, allowing him to focus intently on Ralts' evolution.

Facing away from the glowing Ralts, Nidorino was both happy for Ralts' transformation and filled with a newfound urgency to grow stronger.

After all, the newly evolved Ralts would now be two levels higher than Nidorino—a bitter pill for the older "brother" to swallow.

Fortunately, Ron had already decided that once Ralts' evolution was complete, it would be Nidorino's turn to train and level up, which helped ease Nidorino's frustration for now.

The evolution process was swift, and soon the light surrounding Ralts dissipated. Emerging before Ron was the newly evolved Kirlia.

If Ralts had been a cute little fairy-like Pokémon before, Kirlia now appeared more mature and elegant.

Previously resembling a child wearing an oversized dress, Kirlia now looked like it was dressed in a short skirt, with its two red horns repositioned to the sides of its head like hairpins.

Kirlia's hair had grown longer but no longer obscured its vision, revealing its crimson eyes.

Curiously inspecting its new form, Kirlia used Teleport to appear in front of Ron, leaping into his arms.

As Ron patted Kirlia's head, an inexplicable feeling washed over him—like a father watching his daughter grow up. He couldn't help but wonder: should he start preparing to fend off suitors now?

Suppressing the thought, Ron mentally prepared himself to guard against other Pokémon attempting to charm Kirlia in the future.

"Congratulations, Kirlia! Now, let's test how much stronger you've become after evolving."

Hearing Ron's gentle words, Kirlia nodded enthusiastically before stepping into the clearing with a beaming smile.

Releasing its psychic energy, Kirlia experimented with its ability to perceive its surroundings.

Compared to when it was a Level 14 Ralts, Kirlia's psychic range had now expanded to a radius of 200 meters.

In theory, it would be nearly impossible to ambush a high-level Psychic-type Pokémon that was on guard.

Practically speaking, however, the League had long developed materials capable of blocking psychic powers.

This wasn't due to prejudice against Psychic-types but rather because the League's statistics showed that Psychic abilities were far more common than other special powers.

While other special abilities were rare and innate, Psychic powers could often be cultivated, given sufficient talent.

Once someone became a Psychic, they were more likely to capture and bond with Psychic-type Pokémon.

It's widely known that Ghost-types and Psychic-types are the most suitable Pokémon for assassination or protection missions.

Although Ghost-types could be countered with certain methods, Psychic-types with their detection and teleportation abilities offered little chance for defense.

To prevent Psychic-type Pokémon and their trainers from being misused for assassination, the League had developed materials to block psychic detection.

For Psychic Pokémon, teleportation required a detected location to land safely. Without such a spot, teleportation could become more of a death sentence than an escape mechanism.

Next, Kirlia demonstrated its newly acquired abilities.

After evolving, Kirlia had undergone a comprehensive improvement, learning two new moves: Magical Leaf and Heal Pulse.

The former enhanced Kirlia's ranged combat capabilities, while the latter allowed it to heal its allies.

Unfortunately, for Ron, who possessed fighting aura, the healing ability was of little use.

To help Kirlia quickly familiarize itself with its newfound power, Ron encouraged it to seek out wild Pokémon for practice battles.

With its enhanced strength, Kirlia's battles showcased the unique and eerie power of Psychic-type Pokémon, highlighting their strange yet formidable combat style.

Kirlia's increased psychic abilities allowed it to combine psychic power with other moves, amplifying their effectiveness.

Once Kirlia had fully mastered its new powers, it was finally Nidorino's long-awaited turn to train and grow stronger.
