Evan spent a day resolving all the trivial matters.

After informing Isla about her schooling plans, Evan boarded the school bus with her the following day to visit the school. He helped her complete all the admission procedures. The principal, understanding Evan's request to place Isla in Emily's class for easier care, quickly agreed.

After these arrangements were completed, Evan returned to the breeding house to focus on making energy cubes. After some time, he finished producing all the energy cubes required for Eli's Pokémon.

Surveying the neatly stacked energy cubes, Evan sighed in relief. "Let that guy come and pick them up," he muttered. "There's no space left to store them here."

The sheer volume of cubes was overwhelming. The price had increased, and the quantity was far beyond what Evan had handled before. If he adhered to previous specifications, a month's supply would be devoured in no time.

Evan sent a message to Eli about the completed order.

Eli replied:

[It's ready?]

[I'll arrange someone to collect it immediately.]

[I'm not in the country right now!!]

Evan, somewhat exasperated, simply replied with the pickup instructions. Then he called out, "Machamp, come here."

Hearing Evan's summons, Machamp, who was outside doing push-ups, quickly responded. "Machamp!"

Evan gestured to the energy cubes. "Move these outside. Someone will be here to collect them soon."

Nodding in understanding, Machamp began carrying the energy cubes outside.

Satisfied with the arrangements, Evan glanced over at Daniel, Michael, and Isla, who were engrossed in a discussion. "Daniel, Michael, do you think you're ready to take the intermediate certificate exam?"

The two paused, exchanging unsure glances. "We're not sure if we're ready," Michael admitted.

Evan shook his head firmly. "You're ready! The exam is this weekend. You've been working hard for weeks; it's time to test your skills."

With that decision made, Evan granted the trio a three-day break. He encouraged them to relax, take the exam, or spend their time as they wished.

Meanwhile, the materials truck arrived, and Evan instructed Machamp to load all the energy cubes. The small truck was packed so full that its wheels visibly sank. The driver, who had been waiting nearby, promptly departed with the load, heading off to deliver them to Eli's home.

With the cubes dispatched, Evan returned to inspect his orchard. The fruit trees had grown beautifully, especially with the help of the Grass-type Pokémon tending the area. Some trees had even begun to blossom, a sight that filled Evan with pride.

"It's already blooming," Evan remarked, a satisfied smile crossing his face. "This is growing faster than I thought."

Such progress filled Evan with pride. While patrolling the orchard, he encountered a few Beedrill buzzing by on their usual rounds. Waving them down, he addressed them, "You guys, please pass a message to your leader. Once the tree fruits have fully bloomed, make sure to pollinate them. Collect some pollen and make honey while you're at it."

Pollination was essential for the optimal growth of the tree fruits. Unfortunately, Evan didn't have any Combee, which would have been ideal for such tasks. Still, Beedrill and their diligent nature were a decent substitute. The Beedrill nodded earnestly before continuing their patrol.

Evan knew that even without his instructions, the Beedrill would instinctively collect honey when the blossoms appeared. Their natural behavior had already contributed significantly to the thriving orchard. It was one of the reasons the fruit trees in the back mountain flourished so well.

After another lap around the orchard, Evan made his way toward the lake. As he approached, the water Pokémon residing there surfaced, greeting him enthusiastically. Among them were a group of Feebas huddled around Violet's Milotic, who had clearly taken on the role of their leader.

The Feebas admired Milotic, and after learning from their "big sister" that evolution was possible, their self-confidence had noticeably grown. It was only a matter of time before they could evolve themselves. However, the lack of Prism Scales presented a hurdle. Evan knew they needed eight to evolve all the Feebas and had already reached out to a item dealer to source them. The dealer was on the lookout, but it would take time due to the large quantity required. Evan wasn't in a hurry—he believed patience would pay off.

After greeting the water Pokémon, Evan returned to the breeding house. With no pressing tasks at hand, he took the opportunity to relax. The only outstanding order was from Violet, but with two months' worth of supplies already delivered, there was no immediate rush.

As Evan lounged in the living room, scrolling through his phone, his Gardevoir suddenly appeared in front of him. "Master, my sister is about to evolve," she announced.

Evan immediately stood, excitement evident in his voice. "Let's go! I want to see this."

Gardevoir nodded, reaching out to teleport him. Moments later, Evan found himself before two Kirlia, their forms glowing with radiant white light.

"Not bad," Evan said, his eyes lighting up. "Don't hold back—just evolve."

The two Kirlia, who had been suppressing their evolution while waiting for Evan, nodded and released their restraint. Moments later, the glowing light faded, revealing two fully evolved Gardevoir.

"Congratulations! You've finally evolved," Evan exclaimed, beaming at the pair.

The Gardevoir were visibly delighted, one of them even waving enthusiastically at Evan. "Gardevoir~!"

In a flash, it teleported away to the store, where it usually worked as a sales assistant. It had spent the day at home training instead, leading to this evolution.

After exchanging a few more words with Evan, the other Gardevoir excused herself and left to resume her duties, leaving Evan to bask in the joy of their successful evolution.
