After Sato's Shiny Beautifly defeated her 43rd Swalot, her level finally reached 25.

At this point, the overwhelming presence emanating from the Shiny Beautifly made the surrounding Pokémon feel unusually oppressed.

The majesty of a bug queen was beginning to manifest.

However, the Shiny Beautifly's commanding display also drew the attention of some mid- and high-ranking members of the gang, whose Pokémon were notably stronger.

These individuals, understanding the importance of their lower-ranking members, decided to sacrifice one of their significant combat assets by sending out their Pokémon to intercept the Shiny Beautifly and stop her rampage.

The Pokémon deployed by these mid- and high-ranking members were far stronger than the fodder Beautifly had faced earlier.

Most of them were at least level 20.

Among them, a Manectric radiating electric energy proved especially troublesome with its swift and relentless Electric-type moves.

Though Shiny Beautifly's speed was unparalleled, allowing her to dodge attacks and even use her opponents as shields to redirect Electric-type attacks, she was reaching her limit.

The high-intensity battle against multiple foes of comparable level was taking its toll on her stamina.

Unlike earlier opponents that could be dispatched with a single blow, the current adversaries were on par with her.

This highlighted her biggest weakness:

Having risen in strength too quickly, Shiny Beautifly lacked in stamina training. Furthermore, she had not yet mastered the healing moves Absorb and Mega Drain, which could have allowed her to recover during battle.

This made her ill-suited for prolonged fights.

"Don't linger in battle. Break through their encirclement! You can't handle this many enemies of the same level on your own yet. Lure them to our allies and then take them down one by one. Scatter Stun Spore!"

Seeing that Shiny Beautifly was struggling to fully exert herself amidst the siege of similarly leveled Pokémon, Sato frowned.

After commanding Growlithe to take care of a few sneaky enemies attempting to ambush him, he shouted instructions to Beautifly.

Although Beautifly was reluctant to retreat, she didn't disobey Sato's orders.

Over time, she had learned one thing: her trainer's commands were absolute, and defiance generally didn't end too well in the end.

After defeating a level 21 Swalot using an Air Cutter move, often favored by Golbat, she flapped her wings, used Aerial Ace to knock away several Volbeat, and broke free of the encirclement.

However, Beautifly's delayed retreat gave the lurking Manectric an opening.

The Electric-type launched a long-range Discharge attack, striking her hard.

Fortunately, Beautifly's special defense was decent, so she wasn't knocked out.

The searing pain across her body, however, served as a humbling lesson.

Realizing her overconfidence, she no longer dared to take risks. She immediately scattered a large amount of Stun Spore and bolted from the battlefield without looking back.

Beautifly's speed allowed her to weave through the chaos.

The encircling Pokémon failed to stop her, and after a few quick strikes of Aerial Ace on nearby Volbeat, she successfully escaped.

The Stun Spore she released, while ineffective against Electric-types like Electrike and Manectric, worked wonders on Volbeat, Zubat, and Swalot/Gulpin, significantly reducing the number of pursuers.

Following Sato's strategy, Beautifly led the remaining pursuers toward allied trainers who had been idly waiting to reap benefits.

The pressure on her eased considerably.

At this point, those who had been slacking off were in for a rude awakening. Although they were disgruntled, they dared not complain under Sato's cold, commanding gaze.

Embarrassed, they directed their Pokémon to alleviate the pressure on Beautifly.

"Use Morning Sun under the streetlight now," Sato instructed.

Seeing that Beautifly had broken free of the pursuit and that the idle teammates were finally pulling their weight, Sato quickly commanded her to use her only proficient recovery move, unsuitable for active combat.

Hearing the command, Beautifly flew to the brightest streetlight nearby and activated Morning Sun.

A soft, milky-white glow enveloped her as many of her injuries healed rapidly.

Unfortunately, since it was nighttime, the energy gained from Morning Sun was limited, restoring only a little over a quarter of her stamina and health.

Still, it was enough for Beautifly to rejoin the battle.

With her pain significantly alleviated, Beautifly immediately set her sights on the Manectric that had struck her earlier.

Its attack had hurt her deeply, and she wasn't about to let it go unpunished.

A sharp gleam flashed in Beautifly's eyes as she summoned Flying-type energy.

Six crescent-shaped blades of white energy, each a meter in diameter, materialized around her before shooting toward Manectric.

The Electric-type, noticing Beautifly's gaze, knew trouble was coming. But it was now entangled with allied Pokémon and couldn't escape.

Despite its best efforts to dodge two of the Air Cutter blades, the remaining four curved mid-flight and struck true.

With a howl, the Manectric collapsed, fainting on the spot.

"Beautifly, stop them with Stun Spore!"

After Beautifly eliminated the Manectric, Sato noticed a group of about ten cycling gang members speeding toward them from the bike highway. Without hesitation, he directed Beautifly to intercept them.

Immediately after the command, Beautifly flew toward the approaching bikers. The gang members only saw a flash of vibrant colors before a shower of orange-yellow powder descended upon them.

Within moments, the gang members were paralyzed, toppling off their bikes like dominoes and writhing on the ground.

The reinforcements, who had raced back from the highway, were now incapacitated.

Witnessing their reinforcements defeated, the remaining gang members, who had momentarily regained morale, fell into despair.

"Run! If we get caught, it's all over!"

At someone's panicked shout, a low-ranking member turned and fled. Seeing this, the others abandoned their opponents and bolted as well.

Before long, the battlefield turned chaotic as fleeing gang members on bicycles were relentlessly pursued by a single, beautiful Shiny Beautifly.

The Shiny Beautifly's dominance sealed the battle, breaking the gang's spirit and ensuring victory for Sato and his allies.
