Chapter 981 Dress-undress
Chapter 981 Dress-undress
Liu villa.
Jing studied the pile of files before him in great detail. They held Alix's plans for her own company's debut at the fashion show. He was a little aware of the recent designs that were on the market when Mui was in charge.
"I remember your sister had taken the modern route when she was the CEO. They were very popular once upon a time. Your designs feel like they are going back in time."
Alix nodded.
"Do you think this will work? It's like you are taking several steps back."
"It's called going back to the roots. The whole reason Mr.-" she coughed, "Dad started the company because he loved Mom's simple yet elegant art. That was his whole concept. Basically, I want Mom back in the market."
"Oooooohhhh these are good."
Alix jolted and looked up to see Liu Hai peeking at the files in her hand as he munched upon some popcorn.
"My Chunhua will look so great in them~ My Chunhua looks great in everything!" His eyes shone.
Alix stared at it and slowly asked, "...I don't think you are allowed to eat that."
"Hm? The popcorn?"
"Yes."
He sheepishly grinned. "I am not allowed to eat half of the things. Who cares? Anyway!"
Liu Hai took a seat and grabbed the files from Jing's hands.
"Hey! Have some manners, old man!" Jing glared.
"What are manners?" He shrugged. "You shoo."
Liu Hai excitedly leaned towards Alix. "So, so! I want my Chunhua to wear these clothes too. I will be your first customer!"
Alix paused and said, "I see. Thank you. But these are just the plans."
"Which are good but need some tweaking," Jing tilted his head as he flipped one page. "They are slightly more traditional which won't resonate that much with the younger generation."
She blinked. "Why not? I like traditional clothes. I even like traditional weddings more than church weddings."
Liu Hai beamed. "You too!? Aha! I like you even more now! Traditional weddings are the best! My Chunhua looked so beautiful in Xiuhefu," he sniffled emotionally. "Ah, that was the best day of my life."
"Are you sure it was the best day for Grandma too?" Jin sneered, who just stepped in the study room.
Liu Hai looked back and threw a deadly glare at him. "Why not!"
"I am certain you kidnapped her otherwise there is no way she would have agreed to even look at you."
Liu Hai clutched his chest, breathing hard. "You terrible, terrible grandson!"
Jing ignored them and looked at Alix. "It's not wrong to go back to the roots but considering the current trends, we just have to carefully balance the proportion."
Alix glanced away thoughtfully and nodded. "You have a point."
Jing took a pencil and began shading certain parts of the design. "So I think here and…yeah this part can be a little subtle with the motifs. Their placement really matters too."
Alix felt some shadows creeping behind her as she paid attention to Jing's explanation.
"Oooooohhhh these are good."
"Ahh!" She gasped in panic and looked back again.
"..."
They multiplied…
First it was Liu Hai and Jin and now stood the other three sons of the family too.
"Hey, that looks cool," Nian said, munching on his cookies.
Jian was busy munching on some nachos. "Yeah, Leina would totally kill that look."
Jun was the only odd one out to not be munching on anything. Instead, he held a faraway look.
Alix kind of guessed it. "You are thinking it would look great on Zhou Ai."
"How did you know?"
She smiled. "The Liu family genes are very strong."
Jian chuckled. "It would be more fun to undress those clothes though."
"Oh yeah, that's always the fun part," Nian nodded seriously.
"The key is in being quick enough which I doubt you all can do," Liu Hai sneered.
Alix choked hard. She gave them a stare, which she didn't quite understand herself.
They already dressed and undressed their wives in their minds…
The twins sneered back. "You care about your own undressing speed, old man. I bet Grandma would be tired of waiting at your tortoise speed."
"Shut up, you brats!"
Jin smiled. "Please continue, you all. You are doing a great job in tarnishing your reputation in front of her. Let more people understand your craziness."
Jun shrugged.
The twins and Liu Hai tipped their heads to the side and looked at Alix. "Have we tarnished our reputation? But aren't we so cute and adorable and fluffy?"
Jun threw them a dry look.
Hopeless people…
Alix didn't meet their eyes and instead focused on Jing again. She arched her brow with interest as he showed the first version of the final template.
"No wonder that politician was so stubborn in working with the Liu Corps. I knew you were impressive but seeing you in action is a different feeling."
"What politician?" Nian blinked.
Jin's expression turned sour at that and he gave a quick gist of today's meeting with him.
Jun said, "I admire his serious guts in using our company for his own benefit."
Jian chirped. "It's actually fun to play with these people. It's not something to get annoyed by Jini-boy~ You just lack imagination to enjoy~"
He smiled. "I might but certainly Alix doesn't."
"Oh, oh, what do you mean?" Their ears perked.
Alix shrugged and told them her plan which she thought of.
Everybody except Jin stared at her hard. Then a series of gasps escaped with Liu Hai clutching his chest again.
"Th-that's diabolical!"
"You are evil!" Jian shook hard.
"Oh God I cannot imagine his embarrassment…" Nian wanted to faint. "I would need to have more cookies ready to enjoy that show."
"But we approve!" The trio exclaimed joyfully with their eyes shining with delight.
Jing grinned. "That's the spirit, young lady," he then glared at Jin. "Learn something from her!"
Jin was dumbfounded. "To become a villain?"
"Being a villain is cool!"
Jun snorted. "Don't worry, I already consider you a villain in my life, Uncle."
Jing burst into tears. "How cruel nephew…"
Alix stared at them when a shadow crept behind her again and peeked at her files.
"These look good," a quiet voice said.
Alix - "..."
"Nana would really look pretty in them."
"..."
Nian grinned, popping another cookie in his mouth. "But it's more fun to undress, right?"
Jinhai raised a brow at his son. "Always."
"..."
