Chapter 15: Beginners Village. (1/3)

As Lexus was going fast in the dark, he was shattering huge trees like they were made from glass, and he was an iron ball.

As he was getting desperate with the surroundings being completely dark and he couldn't even see his own hands, at this rate he may miss the village by going somewhere else.

Soon Lexus saw a dim light; it was moving slowly towards the opposite direction from him. Lex's eye lit up, and he sped forward and used too much spiritual energy that cracked the air itself and made a sonic boom.

*BOOM*

"Fuck, this shit even scared me." Lexus, hearing that horrifying sound and seeing himself almost flying ahead of that dim light in an instant, got scared a little.

After destroying several trees in a row, Lexus stopped; after stopping, he looked at his armor. The environment was too dark for him to see. Shaking his head, he slowly started to walk towards the dim light once again, but this time the dim light was not moving at all.

"Convenient," Lexus murmured while walking towards the dim light; his hair was a mess, and without that helmet of the armor, it had become even more messy.

As he was closing up on the dim light, from afar he saw the dim light was actually coming from a carriage, and it was driven by an old man.

And that man was trembling with fear; the carriage looked quite luxurious, more than that noblewoman who picked him up yesterday.

Lex combed his hair with his fingers, then practiced smiling several times in the dark before going out towards the carriage with an unnatural and awkward smile.

The driver, seeing a young man clad in silver armor appearing with a devilishly handsome face and weird smile, was shaken to the core that he instantly started foaming from his mouth and twitching severely.

Lexus, seeing the old man convulsing, ran up to him and checked his vitals, and the old man was dead.

As he was checking the old man, the door of the carriage slowly opened; a light green-haired beauty came down from it; she was clutching a small lamp in her hand.

Seeing the old man seemingly dead and Lexus was doing something to him, her hands trembled, and the lamp fell from her hand, and she sat on the ground, losing all hope.

"Hey, hey, don't be like that, fuck." Lexus, seeing the dramatic turn of events, was bewildered.

"Is...is he dead?" The girl said with a scared voice.

"Well, yes, he died of heart failure," Lexus said because he just checked, and this old carriage driver really died, then Lexus pinched his nose because the old man shat before dying.

"W... Waaaa." The girl immediately started crying; her trembling hands were now wiping the tears that were coming down from her cheeks.

"Dude, fuck... Why did this stupid old man die?" Lexus, taking some steps back, looked at the girl. The light green-haired girl was very beautiful and maybe older than him by 5-6 years.

'Damn these teenagers have no chill.' Lexus got a headache seeing her crying.

"Alright, calm down. I didn't kill this old man; he died all of a sudden." Lexus tried to explain but failed because the girl was crying uncontrollably.

"This is insane." Lexus said this was out of options, so he went to the girl and clutched her hand so that he could pull her up from the ground.

" D... Dragon Master, D... don't kill me." The girl's sobbing voice came, and Lexus, hearing the dragon part, realized what happened.

When he was little, he heard the maid Rita telling him a story about a dragon that makes a huge sound in the air and kills people.

"I am not a dragon; I am a human. Look." Lexus, saying this, grabbed the girl's hand and showed his smile, which made her more teary.

" Fuck, Let's go " Lexus saying this pulled her up from the ground forcefully and shoved her in the carriage and closed the door.

Lexus wiped the sweat from his forehead and, grabbing the dead man's collar, dragged him to the side as he fell from the carriage and shitted on the ground.

Then Lexus checked the place where the old carriage driver was seated and took a sniff; if that old man shitted on the driving seat, he'll abandon this lass and go on his way, but luckily the old man didn't.

Lexus then grabbed the old man's collar again and dragged his body to the back of the carriage where usually luggage is and tied him with the luggage already there.

Then Lexus sat in front and whipped the horses; the horses, feeling the pain, ran faster. Lexus smiled and nodded with satisfaction.

A medieval world and driving a carriage in a jungle is a fantasy for most boys, and he gets to live that fantasy.

The dim light beside him was showing him the path ahead, and he was not seeing that much, even with his enhanced vision.

The horses moved purely by instinct, as Lexus was unable to drive a carriage, and kept beating them in the wrong direction. If they strayed from the road, he would beat them even more furiously and in the wrong direction again.

Even horses were looking tired at some point, getting beaten so much. The girl inside was crying all night because she could see the corpse of the old coach driver.

The corpse was as if gesturing her to come near; she'll remember this scene her entire life.

The next morning the horses were forced to go to the nearest village, which was apparently the village Lexus wanted to go to.

"The Beginners village, ahaha, it's my time to shine." Lexus murmured while looking at the village ahead, which looked prosperous, and there were lots of carriages coming and going inside of it.

Lexus then forced the horses into the entry line of the village; actually, he didn't force the horses. The horses became so smart that they went on their own. There were numerous other carriages waiting for their turn to enter the village.
