Reincarnated in a Light Novel

Chapter 6: Fight Me!

Tralgar didn't mind the training boy; all he knew was that boy was the bastard of the Rosvault family. He was bullied by those who probably had a grudge against Rosvault.

He couldn't help but sneer at such people, whilst Tralgar ignored Eclair. Morian, however, was watching him with disdain.

"Pfft, that idiot still hadn't given up."

"Move along, Morian. Let's finish this fight already."

Morian clicked his tongue but didn't say another word. Once they both reached their destination, Morian faced Tralgar. He was grinning so much that it looked like his face would split in two.

Tralgar on the other hand, was lax and barely paid any attention to Morian, he felt uninterested in the current situation.

Morian felt a vein bulge off his forehead. His grin soon turned sour as he gritted his teeth. Feeling offended by Tralgar's indifference, Morian gathered Omi and compressed everything to his fist. He dashed to Tralgar, who still seemed lax.

"I'll wipe that cocky look in your face! Damn bastard!"

Morian punched with a dense concentration of Omi in his fist just for all of that to get pushed away by Tralgar. Tralgar efficiently used enough Omi not to receive any harm.

Morian still had the same fierce look,'[Locked and loaded!' Morian used his Omi Art, in Morian's field of vision, Tralgar became outlined in red. 'I have you now!'

Morian had specifically made this Art because of Tralgar, who he believed to be a slippery eel, a coward who only knows how to run away. A halo resembling a targeting bullseye materialised above Tralgar's head.

"So the touch was the activation." Tralgar surmised.

Morian didn't allow another word to go out of Tralgar's mouth, he immediately raised his hand in a finger gun gesture and started firing his Omi. Morian is a Projector, someone who can shoot their Omi with little to no decay in power.

Tralgar tilted his head but still looked uninterested. This only annoyed Morian more, as he fired multiple bolts of Omi straight at Tralgar. Tralgar scoffed and released his Aura. The incoming bolts of Omi collided.

Morian adopted a look of disbelief after he saw that none of his shots seemed to affect Tralgar, who still stood at a distance with no damage.

Morian became unbridled with rage as he started to gather more Omi with each shot he released from the tip of his finger. Tralgar tried to dodge by dashing away but each shot followed him.

Multiple Bolts rained down at Tralgar raising clouds of dust 'Ha! That should do it!' Morian felt confident after all of his shots landed, he felt that those shots would end their bout.

The dust soon cleared up and it showed that Tralgar was still standing, not a scratch on him, he was still looking at Morian with uninterest.

"You made an Art, so you could do something that you already could do with a technique?" Tralgar's look of Uninterest turned into disgust, "What an idiot."

Morian took a second to digest Tralgar's words, he looked at him with dazed eyes then soon turned into rage. "Damn you!"

Morian opened his hands, showing his palm with spread-out fingers. In every finger, multiple Omi Bolts shot out all heading towards Tralgar, though, Tralgar was no longer standing still.

Tralgar dashed forward, he was fast as lightning, dodging the Bolts Morian shot forward, now with more ease unlike what he showed before. Morian felt sweat run down his cheek, he unleashed more bolts.

However, the bolts seemed to miss Tralgar, hitting the floor as he dodged them always at the last second before they connected.

"Pathetic."

Tralgar condensed enough Omi at his fist and struck Morian at his solar plexus, sending him flying a few metres away while also making him reel.

"Surrender," Tralgar uttered with indifference. "I will show no mercy."

Morian had veins bulging on his forehead, 'Surrender?!' He stood up fast enough and aimed with his palm towards Tralgar, Morian had yet to see Tralgar use his Art, which annoyed him greatly.

Was Morian that insignificant in his eyes that Tralgar wouldn't even use his Art? 'Damn you!' Morian opened fire once more, though right now it felt like he wasn't shooting bolts, but flashes of fire.

Morian fired out of his palm and he felt the heat from his palm, he smiled as he shot it out, just right at Tralgar's face.

Wait. face?

"What─"

─Wack!

Morian felt something solid hit his body, he looked down and saw that Tralgar had pulled his wrist and had kneed his stomach. Morian looked at Tralgar's eyes and he saw nothing but a vacant look of indifference.

"I warned you." Tralgar simply said.

Morian felt his face turn right as he was hit with a hook, then another knee to the stomach, Tralgar gathered Omi off his palm in the shape of a sphere before unleashing it at Morian's stomach.

It sent him flying with drops of blood splatting over the floor. Morian was defeated helplessly.

"What was that sound?" Eclair asked.

"Someone is duelling, haa… wait here for a moment."

Solas walked over the noise, leaving Eclair unattended. Though he was left alone Eclair didn't wait for instructions to move. He started controlling his Omi, taking advantage of his affinity, he started moving Omi out of his body, moving it left and right.

Eclair could say that nothing has changed yet, it wasn't a large amount of Omi, though he has better control of it.

If he could only amass more Omi then he wouldn't be this weak. He could add more Omi to the floating sphere of Omi he is controlling but, he doesn't have that much access to his reserves.

If he were to use it with Guard then he would've been able to manage his Omi to last longer.

However, the main contributor to why Eclair couldn't pour that much Omi in the first place was his Output.

Eclair sighed, he wished that his output could be increased the easy way. However, it's best he could expand it up to 10% that way he could fight back longer.

"This is surprising."

Eclair jumped back after hearing an unknown voice speak. He glanced at the person and he couldn't help but frown, he knew who this was.

"I didn't know that you still had that much fight in you."

It was Tralgar, Silver hair with green eyes and a handsome face most Asian communities will praise it for. He had impassive eyes scanning Eclair like a hawk, judging him for some sort of quality he only knew.

"Why are you here?" Eclair asked.

He's not particularly fond of one of his bullies being there, he didn't get bullied by him directly, but rather, Tralgar was one of the enablers.

"A pathetic insect still trying to survive? I wonder what gave you the motivation."

Tralgar started walking forward, Eclair started stepping back. Frankly, Eclair had no chance of winning against Tralgar if they were ever to fight, nor did Eclair have a chance of defending himself.

Eclair remembered in his past life, the Novel didn't specify but he was sure that in the event where the attack on the entrance ceremony had so many dead.

Tralgar, who didn't appear in later chapters, suggested he died there too. 'Along with me… ' Eclair couldn't remember every single detail but he was sure that Novel Eclair tried fighting in the tournament and met his inevitable end.

"I wonder, what's taking your thought away?" Tralgar asked, already in front of Eclair. "Is it more important than the situation you're in?"

"What do you mean?"

"If I was one of those who hurt you, can you fight back?"

"Why are you asking all of this?!" Eclair asked, frustrated.

"hm…"

Tralgar didn't have that much change in facial features, but it was clear by how much he was asking Eclair that he was amused.

"Whatever, I'll see if that will to survive still works later."

Tralgar walked away and Eclair fell on his knees. He started breathing heavily, he hadn't tried to remember it but brief images of people bullying him came to mind.

And he couldn't help but feel helpless from that, he looked up clutching his chest, and he saw Torako with a number of 600 on its forehead, he choked just by seeing it.
