Chapter 87: Chapter 0084 Is He a Dragon?!

Chapter 0084 Is He a Dragon?!

Swoosh.

I landed silently, like a ghost, without a sound.

"Damn it! Absolutely despicable!" Suddenly, Shukaku's voice rang out, its piercing roar echoing. "You little insect, how dare you treat me like this! I'll kill you, I'm going to kill you!"

"Go ahead and try…" I sneered, completely unfazed by the threat. "If you think you're capable."

Hyaaah!

With a sharp scream, Shukaku opened its massive mouth and repeatedly struck its belly.

Air Bullet! Air Bullet! Air Bullet…

A barrage of transparent air blasts shot from its mouth, raining down on me like bullets.

"Is that all you've got?"

This time, I didn't bother dodging. Instead, I opened my mouth and swallowed each blast that came close. My chest started to expand, as if something powerful was brewing inside. "Here, take it back!"

Dragon's Roar!

Boom.

With an earth-shaking rumble, a colossal, cylindrical blast of compressed air shot forward. A powerful whirlwind tore through everything in its path, uprooting towering trees and scattering stones and sand.

Boom, boom, boom.

Shukaku, with its enormous body, couldn't dodge in time and was struck through by the blast. Half of its massive frame instantly turned to flowing sand, cascading down and forming a river of sand between it and me.

Oh my god!

All the shinobi from Konoha and the Sand Village were stunned beyond words. Their gazes toward me were filled with reverence and awe, as if they were looking at some god of destruction descended upon the world.

"You…you…" Despite its regenerative abilities as a tailed beast, Shukaku couldn't immediately recover from such severe damage. With a furious glare, it fixed its gaze on me. "That wasn't chakra! What kind of power is that? What power?!"

"Guess." I gave a slight smirk, my expression taunting.

I wasn't one to explain my techniques to my enemies—that was what villains did. And me? I'm a straightforward person.

"Damn it! Damn you! How dare you look down on me, look down on me!" Shukaku was instantly enraged. Guess? What the hell was that supposed to mean? In all its years as a tailed beast, it had never encountered someone so maddeningly arrogant.

Overcome with rage, Shukaku ignored its incomplete recovery and lifted its head. Particles of chakra began gathering in front of its mouth, forming a massive sphere with a diameter of several meters.

This was the tailed beasts' most powerful attack—the Tailed Beast Bomb!

Boom.

Aiming at me, Shukaku released the chakra sphere with force. The dark purple, violent, terrifying energy tore a deep trench into the ground, pulverizing everything in its path.

I raised an eyebrow. Though the Tailed Beast Bomb was powerful, its speed left much to be desired. With my flash steps, dodging it would be easy. But just as I was about to move, my steps suddenly faltered.

Looking down, I saw layers of sand creeping up from the ground, extending from beneath my feet and wrapping around me tightly.

This…Sand Binding Coffin?!

My expression shifted as I glanced at Shukaku in shock.

"Heh heh, you're not getting away!" Shukaku patted the ground with its massive arm, appearing delighted. "You damned insect, don't think we tailed beasts are fools!"

"No, you're not a fool," I muttered, my voice muffled as I spoke through the sand encasing my body, "just a bit of an idiot."

"What did you say?!" Shukaku stomped furiously, enraged that I dared to mock it even while trapped.

However, in the next moment—

Boom.

With a muffled sound, a giant blue-and-white slug appeared at my feet amid a burst of smoke. Just as my restraints were broken, the Tailed Beast Bomb hit, but I opened my mouth and gently inhaled.

As if I were savoring an oversized piece of cotton candy, I absorbed the enormous Tailed Beast Bomb in one go. It was almost too much; I even let out a small burp. "Thanks for the meal."

Even Shukaku's massive eyes filled with disbelief. "You...you actually ate a Tailed Beast Bomb?! Just…what are you?!"

"Same answer as before." My eyes turned blood-red, my body slowly covered in blue-and-white scales, an overpowering aura radiating from me. "Guess."

A dragon's roar echoed.

In an instant, I vanished from the top of the slug, reappearing in front of Shukaku. My tiny figure stood face-to-face with the giant, but Shukaku's massive eyes were now filled with a hint of panic and disbelief.

"No, no!" Shukaku screeched. "That's not even human! What are you?!"

"Oh? You still can't tell?" I let the faintest of smiles cross my face, dark hair whipping in the wind like some god come down to Earth.

And at that moment, everyone watching could see it—the shadow of an enormous, ancient creature looming behind me.

Twisting horns, a fierce face, razor-sharp claws, a thick tail, and enormous wings that could darken the sky. It was unmistakable.

A dragon—an immense, terrifying dragon.
