Chapter 1456: Quest Complete
-----
"Oh wow, no way! So that's how it's done? I can't believe it! I was so dumb trying to make it perfect by just trying over and over again! I really need to better pay attention to the little details."
Celica glanced at the perfected mist stone she made after we taught her how to do it. She only took three tries unlike Celeste, so she was clearly the more talented of the bunch- I think she's more talented than me too.
"Uhh, yep, yep!" Celeste nodded. "You sure did an amazing job… but it sure was fast…"
"Heheh, it took me a while! I bet you did it one try right?" asked Celica.
"Eeehh…" Celeste looked elsewhere. "Yeeah…"
She was lying to not lose face, I see.
But that's wrong!
"She's lying, she took five times," I said.
"Eh? Really? Damn!" Celica said. "I hope you can do it faster next time!"
"Um… yeah, ugh." Celeste wasn't in the mood to talk after hearing that.
Anyways, once Celica was done, we moved to Ruby's own workshop. The heat was strong there, even while working in her alchemy she still sets up the forge, she's really a dwarf.
"Knock, knock! Someone there?"
We knocked the door but the only thing we could hear was the incessant sound of metal hitting one another.
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!
I guess she was at it again, when she works in these things she fully focuses, ignoring the entire world around her and working on her items instead.
It has been almost a week since we recruited her and she had gotten comfier with the place, she's also getting the grip of her divine ability and merging it with her blacksmith techniques.
Of course, she had yet to perfect anything, that'll take a long time to do, and also a lot of effort. But that's why we're here anyways, to work hard and put all our efforts into the craft!
And grow stronger while doing so, apparently. It's certainly no normal training.
"Ruby! We're here! Rubyyy!"
Celica started calling her until Ruby finally noticed us and stopped.
"Woah, you were here the entire time?! Sorry I didn't hear you…" she apologized. "I was busy making these."
She showed us a pair of bracelets she had made using silver metal.
"Oh! Bracelets?" I wondered.
"Yeah, I want to make more accessories too," she nodded. "But it's complicated to get things right, they're much smaller than other equipment pieces, so I have to be careful and not use my dumb brute strength… Also Alchemy helps… Anyways, did you need something?"
"We wanted to ask if you were done making the mist stone?" I wondered. "It's a test and all."
"Ah, not at all," she said. "I tried even applying my blessing, but I got a steam stone which was weird and definitely not what Felicia wanted."
"Steam stone, huh? Sounds kind of interesting… okay anyways, let us teach you the ways!"
"You figured out a trick to make them?"
"Yep, let's begin!"
We spent the next hour teaching Ruby how to make the mist stone as well, helping her make it not her own after she her eighth attempt.
She was certainly not the best at alchemy compared to the rest, mostly because she had been so attuned to blacksmithing alone.
She also has to start doing that cleaning test we had to do before, so she can grow more alchemy runes!
But it's such a chore, I wouldn't really recommend it to anybody…
"I'm done! Finally! It was still super hard! But maybe it would have been outright damn impossible without your help, thanks."
"No prob!" I giggled.
And with that, I noticed something…
Ding!
[Congratulations! You have completed the {Challenge Quest}: {Create the Mist Spirit Stone and Help Your Friends Make It As Well!}

[Although making the stone alone wasn't enough for a quest, because you've helped your friends and changed the destiny of many people at once, a quest had appeared and had been completed just now, well done!]

Oh this could help Ruby develop her alchemy much better, so that's pretty nice by itself!
With these rewards done I should- Wait, what's that magic bottle I got?
I took it out of my inventory as my friends looked at Ruby's inventory of items.
I opened the bottle and then, I felt some of my Mana going into it.
FLUOSH!
The Mana filled itself with some low-quality, but still good enough…
Elixir?!
"Wait this is…?"
A magic bottle that produces low-quality elixirs and potions with just mana?!
That's insane!
It's like that other pot that creates one random soup whenever I pour Mana into it once a day.
But does this one has a limit?
I tried it a couple of times and then…
Yes, a limit of three. Experience new stories on empire
Still good!
What if I give it a System Seed though?
Hmm…
