Chapter 1457: Preparing The System Seed
-----
Not only did I completed a quest I had no idea that was there at all, but I even got a new Title.
Ding!
[Congratulations! You have completed the {Challenge Quest}: {Create the Mist Spirit Stone and Help Your Friends Make It As Well!}
[Amazingly done! Not only were you able to figure out how to make a mist stone on your own without even using the system's assistance, but you were able to strengthen your bonds with your friends by sharing the special method, helping them get through this ordeal in one sitting.]
[Although making the stone alone wasn't enough for a quest, because you've helped your friends and changed the destiny of many people at once, a quest had appeared and had been completed just now, well done!]
[Now, the next test involves "reverse engineering" a Polymorph Potion and make it use the ingredients you think are required, good luck!]
[You Received The Following Rewards]: [+1.500.000 EXP] [Random Alchemy Runes Elixir (B Grade)] x15 [Random Skill Proficiency Potion (B Grade)] x15 [Librarian Dragon Flowers (A Grade)] x5 [Alchemy Spirit Stones (A Grade)] x5 [Magic Alchemy Elixir Bottle (A Grade)] x1]
[You have reached the minimum requirements.]
[You acquired the [Friendly Alchemist] Title!]
The Title itself was fairly decent stuff, making my friends stronger in Alchemy and helping them grow and develop quickly while I get… some bonus stats, so that's never a bad thing.
I guess with my cheats it only makes this a bit fairer for them anyways, so I don't particularly mind or feel upset about it.
There was this one item I got, the bottle, that produced simple low-quality elixir/potions by imbuing it with Mana.
It didn't produce endlessly but had a limit per day, but it was still a miraculous object!
An artifact that gives you potions at all times seems insanely strong as an item for any adventurer, without a doubt.
And I had even the thought of giving it a System Seed… would it create some potion mimic maybe?
Or perhaps a potion slime like Violet.
Or none, and something else entirely.
Hmm, the curiosity was killing me, but I think I had to prioritize my system seeds elsewhere for now.
"We're finally done, this was so annoying…" Ruby sighed, resting over her bed.
"It truly was," Celeste stealthily eyed Ruby's exposed legs after she rested over the bed.
Don't think I didn't saw that!
"We should go relax and celebrate, right?" Celica wondered. "Let's go have some fun somewhere! Maybe let's go to the city to eat in a restaurant or a café?"
"Sounds good!" I nodded. "Want to come Ruby? Celeste?"
"Yeah sure," Celeste nodded.
"I… Uh, I want to but I don't want to encounter my dad out of nowhere, that would be super awkward," said Ruby.
"Ah don't worry about that, don't be silly," I said. "What are the chances? It's not like he'll be roaming around the city, don't worry Ruby."
"I think you're worrying too much yeah," said Celeste. "Either way we're with you anyways. So let's try to spend some time as friends."
"Ok… fine," Ruby stood up and stretched. "I want to change clothes though these blacksmith clothes are damn ugly and not fashionable at all."
"Alright, we'll be on our way then!"
We moved out of her room as she changed clothes.
Meanwhile, I decided to ask Alice to create a System Seed to gift Ruby so she can grow stronger and grow quickly.
And do it now while her soul isn't powerful enough, or it would be too late.
"Sure, let me make it."
She only took a minute to create a new seed.
Ding!
[You have exchanged 35.000.000 EXP!]
[The System has created a new [System Seed]!]
"And it's here," I said, looking at Celeste and Celica. "Guess what's this!"
"A System Seed!" said Celica. "It's hard to ever forget its shape."
"You're giving it to Ruby, right?" Celeste smiled. "Nice! She deserves one."
"Yep, so let's wait… until she comes out."
And we waited.
And waited some more.
And waited a bit more afterwards.
Hmm.
"Hey Ruby, how long are you going to take, we've been waiting for ten minutes," Celeste knocked at the door.
"S-Sorry! It's just taking a while what to wear!" Ruby sighed. "I have a huge wardrove…"
She does have a lot of clothes now that I think about it…
I guess she's the type of girl that takes a while to choose what to wear and are always indecisive?
"Come on, you'll look good in anything!" Celica said. "So pick something! I want to eat chocolate cake already…"
"F-Fine, wait a second please…" Ruby seemed a bit nervous but at the end…
As she opened the door she walked out.
She was wearing blue jeans, with a white blouse and a red and black jacket.
She looked pretty nice, a bit tomboyish but it fit her style.
"This is pretty casual and easy to wear but it kind of looks like male clothes no?" she wondered. "Hmmm…"
"You look fine!" I said. "Pretty even, let's go!"
"Yeah you're looking gorgeous, let's go to that café already," sighed Celeste.
"I love the jacket! I want something like that too!" Celica said.
"E-Eh? Ah, wait!" Ruby ran behind us.
As we reached the floor where my room was and I noticed my dad wasn't around, I gave her the system seed.
"Here Ruby, take this."
"What's this?"
"It's a System Seed- Ah right, did I never tell you about the System?"
"Huh?"
"Oh damn I can't believe it… It's well, a part of my powers, a blessing I can give to everyone to help them grow faster!"
"Wait really?!"
Ruby looked at me in disbelief.
"Once you get it you'll quickly understand how it works but its pretty much like an artifact but for the soul," said Celeste.
"It has helped us grow so strong even though we weren't heroes!" said Celica. "Pick it Ruby! The other heroes like Aquarina, Lara, and Luck already have theirs so it would be unfair if you didn't get one."
"O-Okay? So it's an artifact of the soul… it's kind of scary," she said. "Hmm… I don't know."
Ah, she was being suspicious…
I don't know why but it kind of hurt a bit.
