After giving them brief instructions, Xu Feng finally arrived at the Teleport Platform.

Waiting on the lines designated for contestants, it was soon his turn, in which the guard asked for the destination. "Where do you wish to go?"

"Star Falls City." Xu Feng flatly responded.

Astonished, the guard took a quick glance at Xu Feng before explaining the circumstances. "If you wish to teleport there, then you'll need to wait unless you have some connection there."

Dumbfounded, Xu Feng wasn't surprised by the waiting time in a specific city when they are overcrowded, but they were talking about Star Falls City here.

"Come again?" Xu Feng asked, wanting to confirm whether he had heard him wrong or if the guard had misheard the city he spoke of.

Not a bit surprised by the confusion, the guard respectfully replied, "The traffic to Star Falls City is extremely crowded at the moment. We received news that many people are rushing over there, and it's not a surprise, considering one of the contestants ranked number two hailed from there."

"You mean the player Lin Feng?"

"Who else but him?"

"Well… I'm Lin Feng." Xu Feng smiled bitterly.

Suddenly, the guard twitched his brows and narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the young man in front of him. He then warned solemnly, "Young man, there have been many imposters lately stating they are—"

Before the guard could continue, Xu Feng showed his credentials with a deadpan expression.

Sometime later, the guard returned and replied, "The teleport platform is ready for you."

After entering the teleport, Xu Feng expected the mana concentration to be sluggish due to the difference between the cities.

However, to his surprise, he didn't have a sense of nausea or discomfort upon appearing on the teleport platform of Star Falls City.

'The mana concentration has been raised?' Astonished, he quickly glanced at his status screen. The buff wasn't as high as Paradise Plains, but with its current standard, it could be considered the average of what a normal city should be like.

While he was checking the new surroundings, he noticed there was indeed a swarm of people, NPCs, and players alike rushing out of the platform.

"Quickly, I've heard the Vanguard Hotel rooms are limited. If we're late, then we can only make do with Tavern."

"Damn, there's so many people. I don't even think the Tavern has rooms."

Once he got out of the platform, Xu Feng was nearly pushed aside multiple times by players rushing ahead in hopes of getting a room in his hotel.

Not offended by their frantic behavior one bit, he continued to walk around the streets.

A smile started appearing on his face when he saw there were actually new NPC faces that had set up a stall, all shouting and happily trying to get customers to patronize their business.

The previous lifeless scenery was no more, replaced with a scenery full of vibrant life and a happy atmosphere.

"Now this is what I called a proper city to be like." He mumbled, gazing at the highest standing point of the city, which he had gone when unsealing the Mirage Pendant.

Despite its high vantage point, there were practically zero people when he went. However, it was currently crowded, and even from afar, he could spot numerous people enjoying the view with their companions.

At this moment, Xu Feng suddenly received a private message from Carmen.

Lunar Wraith: Guild Leader, our city is currently trending in the game forum. Almost all the players who had come over here because of your post to visit were astonished by the city's environment.

Having finished reading it, Xu Feng felt somewhat proud of himself.

In his past timeline, the changes in the city were done by someone else, but in this timeline, he was the cause.

To be the pioneer in a figurative and literal term was not something everyone could copy.

Shortly after, he found a somewhat discreet place to put on his mask and went to the backdoor of the hotel.

As soon as he entered, he grabbed a nearby employee and told them to relay his appearance to Tracy.

"You're finally back, Boss!" Tracy smiled excitedly upon seeing Xu Feng sitting on a couch.

"Hoh, what got our Tracy so excited?" Xu Feng mused upon seeing her losing her usual composure. In the meantime, he was browsing the hotel record of getting overbooked despite the exorbitant fee.

"Our city has finally revitalized a bit, and our hotel is experiencing a boom in business." Tracy's smile was so warm and bright that it could easily melt one's heart from a single glance.

"Additionally, the revenue of the other Vanguard businesses had their value increased exponentially." She continued and showed Xu Feng the overall income they had gained.

Still a bit amazed by her cheerfulness, Xu Feng glanced at the document without much thought until he saw the numbers.
