Aside from these two, there were more NPCs that Carmen would recognize right away. After all, they were none other than the ones who went to their knees, pleading for Carmen to accept them as disciples, namely Feras and the numbers.

Yup, Xu Feng still refused to remember their names till this date until they earned the qualification. For now, they were still called by their numbers.

But even then, he would occasionally mistake the numbers for each other. That was how little he cared about them.

Razor also nodded in agreement.

Contrary to her disbelief though, Xu Feng calmly nodded his head and gave her a thumbs up. "Well, I guess it's fine if you were the one that told them. The City Magistrate would know sooner or later anyway, so it's not a big deal."

"Yes, Boss!" Tracy's eyes lit up instantly as she brightened up.

Meanwhile, Brutus and Razor nearly wanted to sneer and hold a disdainful expression toward Xu Feng for being so double standard. Had it been them, then they were positive that their wage would be deducted.

Although their pay was high, it could easily go down to zero if they displeased Xu Feng.

Yet toward Tracy, there was zero punishment, much less a scolding.

And as if Xu Feng had read their minds, he exclaimed loudly, "Tracy had worked hard in managing the Vanguard Hotel and many more businesses without fail. Her merits alone could easily drown the two of you, so don't even try to compare with her."
