Rencarnation Room {Other Story line}

Chapter 226: Let Him Cook!

Finally, Xiao Yan and El arrived at the mouth of the cave located at the edge of the cliff, right beside the waterfall whose roar filled the air, accompanying their steps.

They immediately entered the cave, moving away from any potential danger that might follow them.

Once inside, the cave was not dark at all. The presence of naturally glowing rocks scattered along the cave walls provided a soft glow, bright enough to see the entire space inside.

The atmosphere was calm, even soothing, with a soft light glowing around them.

In the corner of the room, there was a pool of water flowing from a small spring, the sound of gurgling water adding to the peacefulness of the place.

On the other side, there was an extinguished campfire, probably used to keep warm and cook raw food.

Not far away, there was a table with neatly arranged kitchen utensils, complete with several containers of food spices, indicating that this was a place used to rest and survive temporarily.

The cave looked perfect as a temporary shelter. El carefully placed Yun Yun's body, which was still unconscious, on a flat rock located near the cave wall.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yan placed the fresh fish that he had brought at the other side of the room, ensuring that the place remained organized.

After finishing his task, Xiao Yan walked over to El, who was checking on Yun Yun's condition. With sure movements, Xiao Yan took out several ceramic bottles containing medicines from his Storage Ring.

For a moment, Xiao Yan silently looked at Yun Yun who was still lying down, before finally attempting to treat the wound on her chest.

However, just as his hand was about to touch Yun Yun's clothes, her eyes opened slowly.

The incident made Xiao Yan startled to the point that he jerked back, falling backward with a noise. The ceramic bottles of medicine that he was carrying were also kicked, scattering on the cave floor.

In panic, Xiao Yan had pulled El's shoulder, forcing his to take a few steps back in a squatting position.

El, with a cold and calm expression, only allowed himself to be pulled. Inwardly, he thought, "This is part of the original plot. There's no point in interfering too much."

"Y-you are awake?" asked Xiao Yan stammeringly, his tone of voice full of panic.

Meanwhile, Yun Yun tried to get up, although her body was weak from the wound on her chest. Her eyes watched El and Xiao Yan in turn, her gaze cold and alert. However, the pain made her movements limited.

"I-I just want to heal your wounds! There are no ill intentions!" Xiao Yan exclaimed, waving his hands in the air as if trying to calm the atmosphere. Even so, his panic was still evident.

Unlike El, who remained silent without showing the slightest emotion.

With a nervous movement, Xiao Yan reached for one of the medicine bottles lying nearby. "You were unconscious earlier, so I- no, we tried to take care of you." He placed the bottle carefully near Yun Yun.

"But now you are awake. Do it yourself." Having said so, Xiao Yan retreated quickly, keeping his distance while casting a wary glance at Yun Yun.

"With that much strength, if he gets angry, he will definitely kill me. And, i will die a horrible death," Xiao Yan muttered in a panicked and worried tone, being near El.

Xiao Yan's face turned pale at the thought of the worst.

Meanwhile, El, as usual, remained silent. No expression emerged from his face, just listening quietly without making the slightest comment.

Realizing the uncomfortable situation, Xiao Yan immediately turned around, making room for Yun Yun to treat herself.

El followed his lead, deciding not to look because the wound was located on Yun Yun's chest, something that was not worthy of attention.

Meanwhile, Yun Yun, who was still panting from the pain in her body, tried hard to move her body.

Her trembling hands slowly tried to grab one of the nearby medicine bottles. However, her movements were limited, and the stabbing pain made her efforts futile.

"Damn, I lost because of the sealing technique," Yun Yun muttered, her voice weak yet filled with regret.

He paused for a moment, gathering energy as he watched the two men nearby. Her eyes moved, glancing at Xiao Yan and El in turn. Her face remained cold despite the look of exhaustion.

Finally, with a firm tone that implied authority, Yun Yun said, "Hey, heal me."

Xiao Yan and El spontaneously turned their bodies around, looking back at Yun Yun with different expressions. Xiao Yan looked awkward, while El remained calm.

Xiao Yan raised his finger, alternately pointing at himself and El. "Who? Me or my friend?" he asked, his voice containing a hesitant tone.

"Whoever, whatever." replied Yun Yun in a firm and cold tone, emphasizing that she did not care who would help.

"Ji Lan, you heal that woman!" whispered Xiao Yan as he glanced at El, hoping that his partner would take the responsibility.

However, El turned to Xiao Yan with a flat look, replying in a low voice, "Why does it have to be Ji who heals this woman? Wasn't it Xiao Yan who took the initiative to help her?" His tone was calm, yet clearly cornered Xiao Yan.

Sighing heavily and cursing slightly in his mind, Xiao Yan finally said confidently, although his face was still covered with nervousness.

"Alright, I can help you. But after seeing your body, I want to say this to you. Do not try to do anything stupid by seducing me." said Xiao Yan.

The sentence was said with a thin, contrived smile, trying to hide the nervousness behind his confident tone.

Yun Yun, who was still injured, rolled her eyes with a flat expression. "I won't stoop that low."

"Just look at your hands and mouth." The cold and no-nonsense tone of voice, also contained a statement that humiliated Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan stood up and walked over to Yun Yun, while El also got up.

However, instead of helping Xiao Yan, El stepped toward the side of the room, where the cooking utensils were, and picked up a bunch of fish that was leaning against the cave wall.

After bringing the fish to the cooking area, El placed it on the stone table and paused for a moment, considering something.

'What should I cook?' he thought.

A moment later, the decision was unanimous.

Since someone was injured, fish soup was the best choice.

{A/N: Let him cook! I mean, let me cook!}

With calm movements, El picked up some fresh fish that he had caught earlier in the river.

With a small knife in his hand, he began to deftly clean the scales of the fish, making sure that no dirt remained.

El's movements were skillful and without hesitation, each cut was made with precision as he prepared the fish for the soup.

Afterwards, El carefully cut open the belly of the fish, removing the entrails without damaging the flesh, and then rinsed it in the small spring water flowing in the corner of the cave.

While Xiao Yan was busy treating Yun Yun's wounds, El focused on his own preparations.

Calmly, El cleaned the fish that would be used as the main ingredient for the fish soup. His movements were deft, cleaning every inch of dirt on the fish meat.

In fact, El activated Rinnegan: The eye of insight to see microscopic details, making sure no stains were left behind.

El nodded his head slowly, "It's clean without any stains." El muttered in a low voice, then deactivated Rinnegan.
