RWBY: Dimensional Hell

As Scarlet had left the hotel with Makima, the two got into the car. Makima sat across from Scarlet, as if they were in a limo, Scarlet glanced out of the window as she saw the floor Ruby was on, pounding against the window of it. She closed her eyes and scoffed, Makima smirked as she crossed her left leg over her right leg.

"Not having doubts are you?" Makima asked, her slender fingers wrapping around a wine glass, picking it up from the cup holder. She swirled the red wine in the glass before taking a little sip. "Are you having second thoughts?"

Scarlet scoffed again, her arms crossed and her eyes still closed. "No, I'm not wanting to stick around any longer than I should. A deal's a deal, I fight Denji, then you. And then you tell me exactly where Queen is."

Makima chuckled, her eyes closed for a moment as she took another sip from her wine glass. "Of all the days? You'd want to fight us, on Christmas? So much for holly jolly. Leaving Ruby alone on Christmas."

"Tch, don't try to talk your way out of this." Scarlet spoke, her eyes opening as she glared at her. "I don't care if it's Summer break or any other holiday. I will not be robbed of the information on where Queen is."

"Very well then, I will keep my word." Makima spoke as she offered Scarlet a glass of wine. "Tis the season after all."

The Grimm girl grabbed the wine glass from Makima as she took her time savoring the flavor of the red wine, as the car drove away from the hotel parking lot and down the road from it. Scarlet continued to drink from her wine glass, she did look out the window as she watched snow fall from the sky. She didn't see any traces of Christmas decorations, but then again. She didn't blame the people on not wanting to, not when there were devils around. 

Once the car arrived at the location that Denji was at, Scarlet stepped out for the car. Her eyes scanned the area as she spotted Denji, who was just casually sitting at a Ramen shop, slurping up the noodles. Makima walked over after she got out of the car, she sat down in the bar-stool next to Denji, she glanced at him for a moment before speaking.

"Denji, are you almost done? Your target is here." Makima spoke, she wrapped her left arm around his neck. "She killed Power, right in front of me. I was too powerless to stop her...but we can work as a team to defeat her."

Denji swallowed as he looked over his shoulder, his eyes locked onto Scarlet. He didn't say anything at first, but lightly nodded his head. "Alright, I'll make her pay for what she's done." 

Scarlet just stood there, looking bored and tired. She yawned and stretched her arms. "How long do you want me to wear this suit? I'm not your fucking dog Makima." She loosened the tie again and unbuttoned the top button. 

"Oh, you don't have to wear it. Your clothes are in the trunk." Makima spoke.

Scarlet raised an eyebrow up, she popped the trunk open and her clothes were sure enough sitting in the trunk. She picked them up and scanned them, her eyes flickering to Makima and then back to her clothes. "I'm not even going to ask how."

The entire street was covered in snow, the snow crunched under their feet, Scarlet was back in her normal clothes. She held Black Rose tightly as she eyed Makima and Denji. Denji, who had changed his form. Both Chainsaw hand blades and his chainsaw head blade revs up, Makima just stood to the side, waiting for the moment for the three of them to start.

Once the sound of a pile of snow falling from a roof nearby had crashed down onto a car. The fight started, Scarlet dashed towards Denji, the blade of Black Rose clashing with the chainsaw blades of Denji's hands. Makima stood by with a smirk on her face. Her arms behind her back as she watched the two, waiting for an opening or for them to tire themselves out. 

"I'll be sure to send you to hell!" Scarlet barked and kicked Denji in the stomach, she maneuvered around and under the chainsaw blades. "Come now boy, are you really that slow?"

Denji growled and swung his arms around like a crazed killer, swinging a chainsaw around. He did manage to cut Scarlet, but not enough for her to spill her guts. Even then, it wouldn't have done any good. Scarlet smirked and kicked sweeps him off his feet, she pinned Denji down with her weight. She put all her inner Grimm strength into pinning him down, her small petite frame had him pinned down, well until Makima stepped into play. She had balled up some snow and threw it with her immense strength, the snow ball hit Scarlet hard, the snow wasn't soft. The throw from Makima made it hard, knocking her head clean off.

Denji pushed Scarlet's body off of his, her body slumping over onto its side in the snow. Of course it wasn't really over, Scarlet's body began to move and reach around for her head. It's hands felt around and grasped onto the head. Putting it back into place, Scarlet snapped her neck and popped her bones.

"That was a dirty trick, no matter." Scarlet spoke and turned her full attention towards Makima, her eyes scanning the area as she was looking for an opening. Something that would give her an advantage over the two, a grin danced along her lips as she loaded in the dust bullets into Black Rose. The same dust she had stolen from Ruby's pouch, she then turned Black Rose into its minigun form, revving it up and pulled the trigger, firing dust rounds at both Denji and Makima.

Both of them braced themselves for the impact, but this was something that Scarlet had quickly planned in her head. She had used this as a distraction. She sprouted her Nevermore wings quickly and flapped them, sending a gust of cold snow towards the two, almost like a smoke grenade to blur their vision. Scarlet smirked as she dashed towards Denji, grabbing his throat and slammed him down, she then jumped back and disappeared into the snowy smoke screen. 

"I see you're playing dirty as well. But my nose works just as good as yours." Makima said, sniffing the air and picked up Scarlet's scent. Her left index finger and thumb pointed to in front of her in the shape of a gun. "Bang." The invisible force that had fired from her finger went through the snowy smoke screen, the path was cleared but there wasn't any indication that Scarlet was there.

Scarlet smirked and landed in front of Makima, she clenched her fist tightly and didn't give Makima time to react. The Grimm girl threw her arm back and then with great speed, threw her arm forward, landing punch against Makima's face. Sending her flying backwards. Makima crashed into a pile of snow.

Denji slowly got up, his form reverted back to normal. He rubbed his throat and coughed. Then out of the blue, plant vines wrapped around Denji. "What the fuck?"

Scarlet chuckled. "Oh. I see you've found my pet." She walked over to where Denji was at, and circled around him. "The Nightmare Grimm, a plant type Grimm, It can trap anyone in a dream they can never wake from."

Denji struggled to break free. "When did you have time to do this?"

Scarlet smirked and stopped behind him. "I have my ways, though you should be thanking your boss. She said I had all the time in the world to kill the devils and to get myself stronger. Of course, the slight set back to that was seeing Ruby here of all places. But, with that in mind, I had a plan fused. Plant the seeds of the Grimm into areas that had been damaged by the devils. And prest-o change-o! Your precious city is now a ghost town, all these people in town, your friends, comrades. Everyone, in a deep sleep. Well....all except for you, Makima and Ruby."

Denji tried to break free from the vines, he struggled pushing himself away, but he couldn't. One vine wrapped around his mouth, it sprouted the Nightmare Grimm's face, its eye scanning the area. Scarlet grinned and turned towards where Makima was at. 

"D'aww, is she tuckered out?" Scarlet asked mockingly. "I wonder, should I kill you and have your blood spray all over the snow? Or should I have the Grimm put you to sleep?" She tapped her chin with her finger and laughed. "Oh, I know." Her grin widened, her red crimson eyes glowed with a sinister look in them. She turned Black Rose back into its scythe form and swung the sharp blade of the scythe down over Makima. "I'll turn you into minced meat."

Scarlet snickered as she watched Makima's body be put on display, blood dripping from her body as the snow was colored red. "I'll give you one last chance, where can I find Queen?"

Makima glared at her, her eyes locking onto Scarlet's. "Heh....you'll never catch her....not in a million...years.." Her breath was shallow and her body was cut with deep gashes and cuts. "....Now that you have what you want...."

Scarlet scoffed, she turned around and crossed her arms. "I'll spare you, but know this. Cleaning this city up won't happen, you're alone. Even if the devils keep coming, you'll be the only one left." She knew that Ruby may have found a way to return to Remnant, or at least the Ever After to regroup with her team. 

The cold air stung the wounds on Makima's body, Denji was a frozen mess trapped in a deep sleep. One that would be impossible to wake up from, Scarlet however stood there in the snow. More snow fell from the sky as the cold air blew. 

Scarlet was going to speak but a rift opened up below her, she glanced down and cursed under her breath. It was obvious that Queen had done it, but knowing where she was at, was impossible for the time being. Makima watched as Scarlet got swallowed up by the rift under her feet, Makima wore a weak smirk before passing out.
