"Shadows of Solitude"

Sohyun entered the room and calmly said, "Katerina, prepare food for Jin Shi and bring the supplies for his wounds." Katerina, with a hint of pessimism in her voice, responded, "Alright..." but her tone suggested reluctance.

On the other side of the room, Randa spoke softly, her voice fearless, as she observed Jin Shi. "This child... when will he die? He won't last here with us." Her words were harsh, but she saw life here as being too brutal for anyone new.

Hasok suddenly jumped up and said with a laugh, "Let's see about that! Hahaha!" His laugh was filled with challenge and indifference. Everyone laughed, but their gazes held a certain dismissiveness toward Jin Shi, who didn't care.

Jin Shi woke up from his nap due to the noise. He looked at them and said in a low voice, "What? Did I wake up from our noise?" Hasok teased, "Oh, so you finally woke up, little one?"

Jin Shi, still groggy, replied, "Are you jealous of me because I'm younger than you?"

Everyone laughed, but their laughs carried an undertone of mockery. Jin Shi didn't mind. He closed his eyes again.

Then, he suddenly looked at Sohyun and asked unexpectedly, "Do you know someone named..." He stopped abruptly, as if he had a word on his tongue but decided against it. He paused for a moment, then said, "Never mind."

Sohyun looked at him cautiously but didn't press him on the matter. Instead, he asked, "I'm here in the gang, so why don't you welcome me? Does something bother you?"

Jin Shi answered calmly, "I'm a new member. Won't you at least welcome me with food?"

Katerina quickly responded with a sarcastic tone, "Wait, little one, don't use up my energy!" She started preparing the food.

But Sohyun was watching carefully, his eyes full of suspicion. "Is there something you're hiding, Jin Shi?" he wondered silently, noticing there was something mysterious behind Jin Shi's quiet words.

The atmosphere in the room grew tense, filled with many unanswered questions.د
