Chapter 153: Chapter 98.2: The Purest Ōtsutsuki Bloodline

Feeling the increasing grip of the hands clutching her arm, Granny Sun chuckled. "Girls, don't be scared. It's just dark here. Further down, it's fine."

As she said, after passing the narrow path, the space opened up.

"This is where Wang Chongyang carved out a stone chamber for his seclusion," Granny Sun said proudly, introducing the sect to the two girls.

She expected them to marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of the Ancient Tomb Sect. However, Huang Rong and Mu Nianci appeared unimpressed, even a bit bored.

Granny Sun was taken aback.

She didn't know they had witnessed Chu Yang's extraordinary ability to create wonders in confined spaces. Compared to that, carving out a stone chamber in a mountain seemed mundane.

Feeling embarrassed, Granny Sun cleared her throat. "Young man, this is the Ancient Tomb Sect. What exactly are you looking for that Wang Chongyang supposedly left behind?"

Chu Yang didn't answer directly. Instead, he asked, "Granny, which room houses Lin Chaoying's tomb?"

Granny Sun hesitated. "That is a sacred place of our sect. Outsiders are not permitted."

The atmosphere grew tense.

Seeing this, Huang Rong quickly grabbed Granny Sun's hand, playfully pleading, "Granny, we aren't here to cause trouble. We wish to visit Lin Chaoying's tomb out of admiration for her as a remarkable woman!"

"Chu said that Lin Chaoying's talent far surpassed Wang Chongyang's. She only fell behind because of heartbreak. If not for that, she'd be the true number one in the world!"

Huang Rong's flattering words left Granny Sun beaming. Even Lin Chaoying herself would have struggled to resist such praise.

Chu Yang rolled his eyes. He had never said anything like that, though he did believe Lin Chaoying was more gifted than Wang Chongyang.

"The Jade Maiden Heart Sutra" was able to counter the Quanzhen Sect's martial arts completely. Wang Chongyang couldn't break its techniques and had to concede. Later, he won the "Nine Yin Manual" during the Huashan Tournament and used its principles to devise counters, reclaiming his pride.

"Young man, your family's history with Wang Chongyang shows in your fair remarks. You have my respect. Fine, I will take you to pay your respects to Lin Chaoying," Granny Sun said.

Since Xiao Longnu and Li Mochou weren't yet the sect's leaders, Granny Sun could act as a caretaker and make such decisions without overstepping.

Granny Sun led the group to Lin Chaoying's tomb, also the burial site for successive sect leaders. Li Mochou's mentor had recently been interred there, and one day, Xiao Longnu would rest there too.

Suddenly, Chu Yang, at the rear, heard movement behind him—a sword slicing through the air.

"Thief, taste my blade!"

"Miss, stop!"

Two voices rang out in quick succession.

Chu Yang used Armament Haki to block the sneak attack. When the blade struck his back, he felt a faint sting—minimal but enough to show that the internal energy behind the strike had breached his defense.

Surprised, Chu Yang noted the attacker's talent.

Unfortunately for Li Mochou, her internal energy was too weak, and her sword shattered upon impact. The recoil sent her flying backward.

Granny Sun's face turned pale. Despite her youth, Li Mochou's internal strength was already at a proficient level. That Chu Yang could repel her with sheer physical strength spoke volumes about his mastery of body refinement.

Li Mochou landed ungracefully, seeing stars and too dazed to speak.

"Sis!"

From afar, the doll-like little girl hurried over. Her unsteady walk turned her sprint into a comical drunkard's stagger. As expected, she tripped and fell on her bottom, bursting into tears.

Granny Sun stepped forward to help Li Mochou up, then cradled the little girl in her arms, whispering softly to comfort her. She turned to Li Mochou and said, "Miss Mochou, Mr. Chu and his companions mean no harm. They only wish to pay their respects to Ancestor Lin Chaoying. Do not act rudely again!"

Li Mochou glared angrily at Chu Yang. It was all thanks to this man that she had suffered two severe falls today, leaving her nearly in shambles.

"Granny, they are clearly bad people—"

"Silence!"

For the first time, Granny Sun scolded Li Mochou harshly, startling her into cutting off mid-sentence.

Whether they were old friends or villains no longer mattered to Granny Sun. What mattered most was that both parties leave peacefully. She had no interest in what Chu Yang and his companions might take from the tomb. If pursued too aggressively, today might mark the downfall of the Tomb Sect. If anything went wrong, how could she face Ancestor Lin Chaoying in the afterlife?

Sensing the tension, Huang Rong quickly stepped in to break the ice. She approached Granny Sun and began playing with the little girl. Before long, the sobbing child burst into laughter.

"Granny, what's this little cutie's name?"

"Her name is Long'er, an orphan adopted by the sect leader."

"Long'er? What a beautiful name. Don't be scared, Long'er. Big brother and sister aren't bad people."

Long'er lay in Granny Sun's arms, her big round eyes studying Huang Rong before shifting her gaze to Chu Yang.

It really is Little Dragon Girl...

Mu Nianci also joined in, teasing Long'er playfully.

"Hahaha, it tickles! Big sister, stop!"

But Mu Nianci showed no mercy, continuing to tickle Long'er relentlessly.

Chu Yang took several deep breaths.

Though I'm not into little girls, this is almost too much to handle.

In the end, Comrade Chu Yang couldn't resist and began walking toward them involuntarily.

But before he could get closer, a figure stepped in his way.

Li Mochou snorted coldly, "You're not allowed to touch her!"

Granny Sun pushed aside the fuming Li Mochou and led Chu Yang and the others into Lin Chaoying's tomb. She opened a stone door, revealing a large scroll as tall as a person.

On the scroll was the image of a stunningly beautiful woman, her brows radiating heroic spirit, perfectly embodying the word heroine.

"This is Ancestor Lin Chaoying. If you wish to pay your respects, please follow me."

Granny Sun walked behind the scroll, took out several sticks of incense, handed them to Chu Yang, Huang Rong, and Mu Nianci, and lit them one by one.

Chu Yang, filled with genuine admiration for this extraordinary woman, bowed deeply before placing the incense in the censer on the altar.

Huang Rong and Mu Nianci did the same.

Granny Sun smiled and asked, "You've seen everything, paid your respects, and toured most of the Tomb Sect. Did you find any relics left behind by Wang Chongyang?"

Chu Yang pointed to the ceiling of the tomb.

Following his gesture, Granny Sun looked up and froze in shock.

The ceiling was covered in inscriptions—the complete text of the Tomb Sect's ultimate technique, Jade Maiden Heart Sutra!

Huang Rong and Mu Nianci had only glanced at it when Chu Yang quickly reminded them, "This is the Tomb Sect's secret art. It's best if we don't look too much."

The two girls immediately averted their gazes, understanding the importance.

"What we need is in the adjacent tomb chamber, so we won't overstay…"

Chu Yang turned to leave but paused when Granny Sun called out behind him.

"May I ask, Mr. Chu, what is written in the other chamber?"

Chu Yang explained, "Years ago, Ancestor Lin Chaoying used the martial arts of the Jade Maiden Heart Sutra to counter all of the Quanzhen Sect's techniques, engraving them within her tomb. Master Wang Chongyang was helpless against it.

"Later, after winning the Huashan Tournament, he obtained the Nine Yin Manual. Inspired by its profound martial arts, he developed a counter to the Jade Maiden Heart Sutra and inscribed it along with the manual in the neighboring tomb."

Granny Sun snorted disdainfully, "Shameless!"

Chu Yang chuckled but refrained from commenting further. He opened the door to the adjacent tomb, revealing the Nine Yin Manual engraved on the stone wall above.

Scanning through the text quickly, Chu Yang memorized it in its entirety. However, he knew the martial concepts would take time to fully grasp.

Granny Sun entered after him, her expression complicated as she watched Chu Yang silently recite the manual. If it had been anyone else, she wouldn't have let them leave the tomb alive.

Not even Huang Rong or Mu Nianci.

The Nine Yin Manual was a treasure that could drive the martial world mad. If news of its existence leaked, countless experts would descend upon the Tomb Sect to seize it.

This would spell disaster for them.

"Rest assured, Granny Sun. Today's events will not reach a third person's ears," Chu Yang said after finishing his recitation, sensing her concern.

"Thank you, Mr. Chu," Granny Sun sighed in relief.

Having achieved his goal, Chu Yang prepared to leave.

Before departing, Granny Sun gifted them several jars of honey.

Considering Chu Yang had uncovered the tomb's secrets and left behind the Nine Yin Manual, a few jars of honey seemed a fitting token of gratitude.

The Tomb Sect, being reclusive, had nothing of equal value to offer.

Granny Sun escorted Chu Yang and his companions out of the tomb. Little Dragon Girl began to cry softly, unwilling to part after spending the better part of the day bonding with her two new sisters.

Meanwhile, Li Mochou glared daggers at Chu Yang the entire time, her anger still simmering. She finally muttered a threat that wasn't quite threatening, "Once I've mastered my martial arts, I will repay this humiliation!"

Before she could finish, Granny Sun smacked her on the back of the head, sending her running with her hands over her head. Her defiant words turned into pitiful wails.

"Ouch! Granny, stop! I was wrong!"

Amid her cries, the group left Zhongnan Mountain and headed toward the Northern Song territory.

Naruto World

In an underground laboratory beneath the Forest of Death in Konoha, Chu Yang's secret experiments were progressing steadily. The task of extracting the Ōtsutsuki clan's genetic material had reached its final stage.

A towering ten-meter genetic analyzer stood in the center of the lab, vibrating with a low hum.

Numerous shadow clones watched the machine intently.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The analyzer's green indicator light lit up, signaling the successful synthesis of the genetic material.

Chu Yang approached and retrieved a translucent vial from the machine.

The contents were a shimmering, mist-like substance, ethereal and dazzling.

This was the Ōtsutsuki clan's genetic material.

"Finally, success!"

The shadow clones cheered, the only ones who truly understood Chu Yang's arduous efforts.

Moments later, Chu Yang climbed into a prepared biological chamber and instructed his clones to proceed with the transplant procedure.
