Skill Maker in a Game Like World

Chapter 18: Miss

"Rosa," Enzo said in a low voice.

That woman was the short pink-haired young lady he had interacted with at the Primordial Association.

He didn't expect to see her here.

Unlike this afternoon where she was wearing a school uniform, this time she was wearing long jeans and a white sweater that perfectly matched her figure that already had the curves of a mature woman.

She wore a crescent-shaped diamond necklace that was red in color, faintly reflecting the piercing light.

As an Awakener, Enzo could sense how unusual the diamond was.

It seemed to be a special artifact of great value.

The third floor of this building seemed to be an exclusive place and definitely not for guests, how could he come from there.

"Enzo!" The young lady also saw him and immediately called out to him.

Her voice rang out all the way to his location, startling the clerk who knocked on the door.

It just so happened that the door was already open, revealing the figure of a middle-aged man who had thin hair, wearing rather large round glasses.

It seemed that he was the so-called deputy manager.

His gaze was immediately drawn to the stairs as he heard a woman's voice there.

Then, he looked surprised and immediately corrected his stance.

"Miss," he said in a spontaneous tone when he saw Rosa walking quite quickly towards them.

That the deputy manager called her miss, Enzo immediately knew that she was strongly connected to the boss of this shop.

"Enzo, what are you doing here? Just today you awaken, do you already have something to sell?"

Rosa paid no attention to the deputy manager. She focused on Enzo, showing surprise and confusion.

"Yes, I want to sell some things," Enzo replied.

He couldn't keep this a secret from the Miss of Primordial Red Moon.

"What is it?" The lady asked again, but before she answered, she looked at the deputy manager.

She said, "this man is my friend, make sure to give him the best price when buying his goods!"

Rosa's voice was almost always soft and friendly, but when she spoke to the deputy manager, her tone became stern.

The deputy manager was somewhat surprised, looking at Enzo more seriously.

Miss' request wasn't just a request, it was an absolute order that he had to carry out.

He quickly nodded as he said, "sir, please come in, let's talk about what you want to sell, I will definitely give you the best price!"

He gestured his hand into his office as a sign of welcome for Enzo.

In fact, he wanted Enzo to enter first.

Enzo's eyes glanced at Rosa and the latter nodded to him.

Only after that, could he take a step.

The deputy manager's room was not that big. It had one desk and two sofas opposite each other right beside the window facing the street.

"Please sit on the sofa," the deputy manager said as he followed him.

Not only him, Rosa also followed him and asked the clerk to leave.

No one should be here except the salesperson and the deputy manager, but who could kick out the miss.

The deputy manager pretended not to see her as she stood aside to watch while he sat in front of Enzo.

"Sir, please tell me the items you want to sell so that I can set a price for you," he said softly.

Enzo nodded, took out two Life Cores, then the Crocodile Morph Bangle, and the Skill Book of Aqua Stride.

"A skill!" The deputy manager narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the small book.

The cover surprised him somewhat.

As for the other two items, he didn't seem to find them remarkable.

"Sir, what kind of skill is this?" he asked.

"This skill allows one to walk on water. I got two Skill Books from this skill, so I used one and sold the other," Enzo replied in a soft voice.

"Really?" The deputy manager was amazed.

Rosa showed the same reaction.

And she as an Awakener seemed to have gotten the notice so she became even more surprised.

"Deputy manager, I want this skill," she said suddenly, something that didn't surprise the deputy manager.

"Miss, we have to buy it first," he replied with a faint smile.

"I know," Rosa said before looking at Enzo, like she was going to take charge of the purchase.

"Miss Rosa!" Enzo couldn't help but greet her.

"Don't call me Miss Rosa, just call me by my name," the woman replied directly.

Enzo was a bit unsure how to react. After knowing her status, he found it a little difficult to call her by name directly.

He paused for a few moments to formulate words without saying her name before replying, "I don't know the exact price of this skill, how much can you give me?"

The answer from Rosa was not only awaited by Enzo, but also the deputy manager who actually had an estimated price for the skill.

"Normally, people wouldn't sell a unique skill like this for money. Even they sometimes refuse the Life Core, only exchanging it for an equivalent treasure that is useful to them. Enzo, I have a suggestion that you mention the equivalent treasure you want and I can pick it up in this shop to give to you. Of course, I can give you extra money if you need money," Rosa replied.

Hearing her suggestion to exchange for a comparable treasure, he became a bit confused because in his plan, he only wanted money.

Of course, Rosa's suggestion made perfect sense.

If he only exchanged the Skill Book for money, there were many treasures he could not buy.

Money could basically only be fully used when he bought worldly goods.

Even if that was what he wanted, it might be better if he made money from other items of lower value while the best items were used to obtain equivalent treasures to increase his strength.

Besides, he could still choose to earn extra money from exchanging the skill for a treasure, so there was no problem with this method.

Before he could say anything, Rosa suddenly took out her cell phone.

She seemed to open a special app that recorded a list of items.

After that, she handed the phone to Enzo.

"You can choose from these items and I'll still give you an extra 500 Thousand Dollars," she said which left Enzo dumbfounded.

He looked at Rosa in disbelief.

"Are you sure, Miss Rosa?" he asked.

Everything was beyond his wildest expectations and he was having trouble keeping his cool.

As someone who was used to living on a shoestring, 500 Thousand Dollars was too shocking if it was just an extra.

"I told you, don't call me that," Rosa said in response, reminding him again to only call her by her name.

She then continued, "by my rough estimate, this skill if valued in money, has a price tag of a little over 5 Million Dollars. All the items you see on my phone are the same. An additional 500 Thousand Dollars is an appropriate figure for this trade."

After hearing that from her, Enzo started looking at the list of items displayed by Rosa's cell phone.

Each item really surprised him.
