SSS-Class Magic Academy Professor Got The Internet

Chapter 7: Stargazer Magic Academy

"You can't imagine how happy I am that you're alive..."

Desmond didn't know what to say after Cordelia's words, he knew that the Sages cared about him, but it felt really warm to have someone who looked at everyone like a statue of ice and gave fake smiles all the time send him such a genuine smile.

"A family," Desmond thought.

Even though the real Desmond never realised it, he seemed to have won the love of many more people than he thought.

"I'm sorry...and thank you, who knows what you were doing that you suddenly left and came here..." said Desmond, a strange sadness was really on him. Desmond was even luckier than he thought.

After all this Cordelia stood up and said, "Alright then, tomorrow is the seventh day, so this Monday you will start your first day of teaching. I'll be watching carefully."

Desmond's eyebrows shot up as he heard those words and he smiled, feeling strangely relieved.

"I would be honoured...sister..." he suddenly muttered.

Hearing these words, Cordelia smiled brightly again and said, "See you later." and then she disappeared without leaving a single thing behind, her whole body on fire.

"Wicked," Desmond said, unable to find anything else to say.

After everything that had happened, Desmond began to prepare. He had already learnt a great deal about magic, and he was fully prepared to teach others what he had learnt.

In the future, he could learn to explain magic by demonstrating it, as professors of magical theorising normally did, which was why he was looking forward to learning from Merlin and many other gods and goddesses.

Right now, though, there was only one thing he needed to do:

Take a shower.

He was covered in blood, so much blood had come out of his body that this was no joke, the entire alchemy room was still covered in blood.

After a long shower that lasted almost an hour, Desmond went back to his room. He managed to see Kris before he entered his room and gave him an order to have the alchemy room cleaned.

Once in his room, he lay down on his bed and then took a deep breath and reviewed what Odin had taught him.

Tomorrow would be his last day off, after which he would only have Sundays as a holiday for the whole year.

Although he had been unconscious for a day or so, he was insanely tired.

As soon as he closed his eyes he fell asleep and when he opened them again he saw that the wall clock read exactly nine o'clock in the afternoon. That was already the hour before he had fallen asleep, so he had slept for a whole day.

In short, he had missed the time of his departure from his mansion.

He stood up abruptly and walked out of his room, throwing the bag he had packed when he received his teachings from Odin into his dimensional bag.

As he left his room he saw the servants and knights looking at him again, this time each of them trying hard not to laugh.

Obviously, none of them had expected Desmond to fall asleep, and even if Desmond was being very nice to them, he was still a very serious person, so when they looked at this issue, the reason why they could hardly stop laughing became quite obvious.

"Quiet all of you!" he screamed which made everyone see him actually laugh.

Desmond hurried past them and then went to the door of the huge mansion and went outside.

When he got outside, he saw the carriage standing in front of the mansion and Kris and another servant standing right next to it.

The other maid's name was Ava. Even though Kris was in charge of all the servants, he was also in charge of the knights and wizards. In short, she was the most authorised person in the mansion behind Desmond. Yet, despite all this, most of the servants were placed under Ava's command.

Of course, the reason for this was the creation of a division of labour.

Ava was the person who would come to the academy with Desmond instead of Kris. After all, Kris was in control of not only the servants but many unions and on top of that hundreds of businesses owned by Desmond.

Desmond couldn't have found a better friend and servant.

"Let's go, Ava," Desmond said and then got into the carriage.

As soon as he entered the carriage, the inside of the carriage became quite large. It looked like an area expansion spell had been cast, Desmond was incredibly excited, he had a journey of almost two hours and when the journey was completed, he would finally reach the place where he wished to belong.

A place known as the capital of magic and founded thousands of years ago with the help of the Sages.

The Stargazer Magic Academy itself.

The carriage door closed as Ava entered and the journey began.

From the time he left the mansion, he could hear voices coming from outside the carriage on each side of his journey through the capital. After all, it was not every day that the common people saw a Sage.

After no more than two hours, the carriage finally came to a stop, which meant that when Desmond opened the carriage door, he would find the great academy itself.

The most perfect and mighty academy of magic in the whole world.

Ava got up from where she was and then opened the carriage door and got out, after a short time, Ava's hand went back into the carriage.

This signalled that it was time for Desmond to come out.

Desmond immediately grabbed Ava's hand and then stepped out of the carriage, stunned by the sight before him.

The reason for this was obvious, of course.

As soon as he got out of the carriage, he was greeted by dozens of people. Each of them was wearing mage hats and robes of different colours and patterns.

These were none other than the professors of the gigantic Stargazer Magic Academy. This was where Desmond's adventure would begin.
