Chapter 359: Telling Everyone About The Zerg

"I know this is not something that can be decided now, so you do not have to give me an answer about this," Xu Qianghua said, his tone calm but reassuring.

He glanced around the room, meeting the eyes of each representative to show that he did not expect the answer today and that they had time to talk about this later on.

"So, let's get on to the details about the Zerg race."

The room grew quiet as everyone leaned in, their curiosity and apprehension visible. Xu Qianghua continued, his voice steady and clear.

"The Zerg are the first race we will encounter, and they are one of the weirdest races we will see.

They're a race that consumes everything on a planet—resources, living beings, and even the natural energy that only planets produce.

All of it is devoured and converted into nutrients for their Queen. This is how she sustains herself and births more Zerg."

Murmurs started almost immediately. Representatives exchanged glances, their faces a mix of disbelief and unease.

"Devour everything?" Lei Zhentian from the Lei family asked, his gruff voice breaking the silence. "You mean they leave nothing behind?"

"Exactly," Xu Qianghua nodded. "Once the Zerg leave a planet, it's nothing more than a lifeless husk.

They extract every bit of energy and material they can use, leaving nothing that can sustain life."

Hu Liwei's golden eyes narrowed, her expression thoughtful. "And the Queen? How does she control them?"

Xu Qianghua glanced at her. "The Queen is their center. She's not just a leader but their creator.

All Zerg are born from her, and she controls them through a hive mind. Every Zerg is connected to her, which allows them to act with precision and coordination."

This revelation caused a stir among the delegates. Lin Yu, the Crown Prince of the Northern Frost Empire, leaned forward, his brows furrowed.

"If they're connected to a hive mind, does that mean if the Queen is eliminated, the rest of the Zerg will fall apart?"

"Not entirely," Xu Qianghua clarified. "While killing the Queen would disrupt the hive mind and weaken them significantly, the Zerg are still dangerous on their own.

Many can operate independently for a time, though without the Queen, they lose their coordination and long-term strategy."

The room fell into a thoughtful silence as the weight of his words sank in. After a moment, Feng Yuxuan broke the quiet. "How did you learn all this? The Zerg didn't exactly come here to chat."

Xu Qianghua allowed himself a small smile. "Good question. During the recent attack, we managed to capture one of their smaller ships intact.

It contained a trove of information—data, recordings, and even some biological samples. With the help of the Xu family's researchers, we've been able to piece together a picture of how they operate."

This was the best explanation he could give them. He couldn't tell them he was reborn—first of all, no one would believe it, and even if there was an off chance that they did, it would create more chaos in the long run.

So, the best way to handle this was to frame it this way: Xu Qianghua tested this lie and discovered that although the Zerg's language was different, their ship contained a universal language connector.

This connector could be linked to another ship and used for communication or, in this case, deciphering.

It was fortunate that he did so, as he was able to get the coordinates for the main hive from the ship.

This would help him pinpoint its location. While he knew it might not be the exact location, it had to be close by.

Otherwise, the other ships would have trouble returning. He made sure to keep the navigation tool used by the ship, as it would notify him if new coordinates appeared.

Zhen Lian of the Zhen family crossed her arms, her expression skeptical. "And you're sure this information is accurate? The Zerg could have left false trails or planted traps."

"It's a valid concern," Xu Qianghua admitted. "But we've cross-referenced the data with what we observed during the battle. Everything matches up. Of course, we're continuing to verify and expand on this information."

Tian Meifeng spoke up next, her calm voice cutting through the chatter. "What about their strengths? We've seen how relentless they are, but what makes them so dangerous?"

Xu Qianghua's expression turned serious. "Their biggest strength is their sheer numbers," he said, his tone heavier than before. "But I think it would be better to show you rather than just explain."

He waved his hand, and a massive hologram screen appeared in front of the gathering.

The screen flickered for a moment before displaying a massive fleet of Zerg ships, their dark, organic forms drifting ominously through the void of space.

The room went silent as everyone stared, their eyes widening at the sight.

"This," Xu Qianghua began, pointing to the hologram, "is what we're dealing with."

The hologram zoomed in, showing a mid-sized Zerg exploration ship. Its structure was grotesque, a blend of hardened organic armor and pulsating tissue.

The vessel resembled a giant, monstrous insect, with jagged edges and spiky protrusions jutting out at odd angles.

Veins of glowing green energy pulsed across its surface, giving it a menacing, almost alive appearance.

"This is one of their exploration ships," Xu Qianghua explained. "This is similar to the ship that came here, and it's on the smaller side compared to the rest of their fleet.

These ships are usually sent ahead to scout new worlds, collect resources, and test defenses."

The screen shifted, showing the interior of the ship. Thousands of Zerg swarmed within, their insect-like forms scuttling through the dimly lit, fleshy corridors.

The walls of the ship pulsated faintly as if the entire vessel was breathing.

"Each exploration ship carries tens of thousands of Zerg," Xu Qianghua continued. "These include a mix of weaker drones, which handle basic tasks, and stronger combat units designed to overwhelm enemies.

On average, an exploration ship houses up to ten Nascent Soul-level Zerg, a hundred Golden Core-level Zerg, and thousands of Foundation Establishment and Body-Building level soldiers."
