Star Wars: Daimon's Story

Chapter 44: Imperium Expansion

The Imperium had just reached its 21st year, throwing another massive celebration that is done every year. Though now, the celebration had expanded to 4 other colony worlds which had 5 million people settled on each world. The Ministry of Expansion and Colonization had put out a recruitment order for 5 million people to settle a new world, expanding the Imperium to other worlds in the name of the God-Emperor.

Each time this recruitment order went out, the Imperium received 6-8 million volunteers each time. Veldari was their homeworld but expansion was something that Daimon integrated into their culture. The streets were filled with celebrations as the first colony ships took off.

Their destinations were the 4 newly terraformed worlds. The first was within the Eldaris system, where the planet Aurex had been terraformed and colonized by 5 million Gen'Dai settlers. The way Force terraforming worked involved Molecular Restructuring which disassembled and reconstructed matter at a subatomic level allowing even a barren rock world to be infused with water by directly converting elements into hydrogen and oxygen to form vast oceans.

Second was the Instant Climate Engineering which adjusted atmospheric composition to create breathable air, block radiation, and regulate temperatures. Alongside this, Cloud layers could be formed and dispersed to control rainfall, and entire seasons and weather systems could be set to a precise cycle.

Third was the Biological Seeding which allowed Daimon to generate life from nothing or accelerate evolution within moments. Entire forests, oceans teeming with fish, and massive biodiversity could be created in an instant.

Fourth was Gravity Manipulation which allowed Daimon to increase or decrease the planet's gravity to match that of the Gen'Dai or make it favorable to all species.

Lastly was Resource Manipulation which allowed Daimon to create certain resources such as metals, crystals, or energy sources to suit the Imperium's needs. Obviously considering its immense value, Kyber crystal formations, rare ores, and other Force-attuned substances could be created.

Once all of these steps were completed, the benefits of the newly terraformed world were immense. Similar to Veldari, newly colonized worlds could be turned into a paradise with endless fertile land and clean energy or a mechanical world optimized for industry.

A self-sustaining climate control system to prevent natural disasters from happening unless desired. All of these things could allow the world to become the ultimate fortress or an eternal paradise.

Because of his understanding of all the aspects of the Force, he didn't require time, effort, or tools to terraform worlds. It was as simple as deciding what the planet should be and making it so.

The second planet, Korrvax within the Thanis System, was primarily terraformed to be a Forge world, housing tons of metals, crystals, and other rare resources, making it a future industrial hub for the Imperium.

The third planet, Erebus Prime within the Erebus system, was terraformed into a Fortress world, designed to be Highly militarized planets that serve as defensive strongholds. It's purpose was Strategic defense, training grounds for elite soldiers, and a military staging area.

The fourth and final planet, Oblivion's Reach within the Oblivion system, was terraformed into a Research world, designed to have massive research labs to conduct various amounts of experiments. It would allow for the Imperial Ministry of Science and Technology to expand the research capabilities of the Imperium to create new and powerful technologies.

Now in the 21st Imperial year, those planets each had a population of about 10-12 million Gen'Dai who immigrated from Veldari.

In addition to this, humans and other species from the Republic had immigrated to several of the colony worlds and Veldari. In response to this a new Imperial amendment was created specifying how citizenship worked for newly immigrated species.

The first was Conditional Citizenship for immigrated species. This amendment stated that Citizenship is not automatically granted to immigrated species. In order to become a citizen, they must serve in Imperial military service for 5+ years or Contribute to Imperial industry, science, or labor for 10+ years. After fulfilling these obligations, they gain full rights as an Imperial citizen.

Second was the Amendment of Religious & Cultural Autonomy. This said that Immigrated species are allowed to practice their customs as long as they do not conflict with Imperial Law. Religious practices that challenge the God-Emperor's authority are banned or regulated.

Third was the Amendment of Economic Participation. This said that Immigrated species may own businesses, land, and participate in trade after earning citizenship or special permits. Non-citizens may only work under Imperial-supervised contracts but will earn a set minimum wage ensuring homelessness does not rise in Imperial cities.

Fourth was the Amendment of Prohibited Political Influence. Non-citizens cannot hold government positions or influence Imperial policies. And Citizenship does not guarantee political power, species must prove unwavering loyalty over generations.

Fifth was the Amendment of Species Expulsion. The Imperium reserves the right to expel or relocate species that become a political, economic, or military threat. Subversive groups or rebellion attempts result in mass deportation, imprisonment, or extermination.

These five amendments outlined a structure that protected and regulated the Imperium in the face of growing diversity and expansion. The laws were harsh but fair, bearing Daimon's understanding of how the Gen'Dai were relatively new to the galactic stage and as he was a Gen'Dai himself it would be expected for him to prioritize them over the others.

This didn't stop various corporations from trying to start their business within the Veldari Imperium. Many of them were accepted under strict supervision from the Imperium. It was a mandate that corporations remain checked and balanced to prevent exploitation and corruption from tainting the Imperium. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce saw to this, its members scrutinizing contracts and agreements with a hawk's eye while keeping tabs on the workings of these corporations.

Daimon spent 10 years dealing with things in the Imperium. The relationship between the Republic and Veldari Imperium improved significantly, increasing the annual income of the Imperium to 100 trillion. It was not on the same level as the Republic in any way as the Republic was much bigger.

But given enough time, the Imperium would be either on par with or a little bit more powerful than the Republic.

After 10 years had passed, Daimon returned to Aruza to finish his conquest of the planet. He had spent his time with the planet mostly because of the way he wanted to integrate the species to make it smooth, but also because of the enjoyment. He realized that most of his time would be spent ruling rather than fighting for the next few centuries.

Most of the major events in the galaxy happened several thousand years from now. And the only action he was going to get was the expansion he was going to do in the Outer-rim, and Unknown regions. The most exciting species he was probably going to meet were the Chiss. Early contact with them would set the stage for a lot of future events with them and other species.

Before that however, it was still the hundred years of darkness and the Republic and Jedi were still at war with the Dark Jedi. The outcome of the hundred years of darkness would form the Sith and set the stage for the Sith wars and other events.

After that, he also planned to search for various lost technologies and species such as the Star Forge and the Rakatan, or Centerpoint Station and the Killiks which would bring him into conflict with the Celestials. He guessed that he was stronger than the Celestials, but he never faced them nor met them to gauge their true strength.

The Star Forge would bring Daimon into contact with the ancient Rakatan who had enslaved the entire galaxy tens of thousands of years ago. This ancient race, with their brilliance in biotechnology and control over the Force, had fascinated Daimon ever since he read about them.

The Star Forge itself, a massive space station allegedly capable of manufacturing unlimited ships and weapons through the use of dark side energy, was viewed by Daimon as a tool of incredible value. Not to mention the potential it held to augment his existing powers.

On Aruza, Daimon arrived within the Palace of the newly built Thulsar which has increased in economic prosperity. Elara had implemented numerous reforms and now had a powerful army of 20,000 soldiers trained by Gen'Dai trainers and enhanced with cybernetics.

However, at the same time, the other nations didn't sit idly by. Already many of them had gathered their forces and planned to attack the Kingdom of Thulsar. Daimon felt bad for them as they chose the wrong time invade as he had returned to the planet to begin the conquest.

The Alliance of soldiers had already started to cross the border from all directions. The only thing Daimon could think was how much fun he was about to have.
