Starting from Prototype to Immortality

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Brutal Slaughter!

Chapter 4: Brutal Slaughter!

Transformation: Four-Armed Overlord Form!!!

Chang Wei was here to snatch the prey, so he wouldn't just stand idly by. Without hesitation, he transformed into his Four-Armed Overlord Form.

His height surged from over 1.8 meters to 2 meters instantly. Enhanced muscles caused his body to swell, and his four strong, hammer-like arms immediately drew attention.

Morse instinctively sensed something that sent chills down his spine. In the next moment, he saw a colossal figure descending from the sky. For Morse, who was relatively smaller, the 2-meter-tall Chang Wei already felt like a "small giant."

"Boom!"

With a single punch, Chang Wei sent a Hunter flying. The force of the blow was so immense that the Hunter crashed through several trees before coming to a halt. Then, he grabbed another pouncing Hunter with both hands.

"Hahahaha, split apart!"

Chang Wei sneered cruelly, exerting force with both hands. The Hunter struggled desperately but was torn apart with sheer brute strength. Irregular cracks stretched across its body as fibers of flesh snapped apart one by one. The Hunter went limp in Chang Wei's hands, losing all signs of life.

Having torn apart a Hunter alive, Chang Wei's hands emitted black and red tendrils that swiftly disassembled the Hunter's remains.

[You have gained 500 Gene Points!]

What the hell?!

Chang Wei was overjoyed. Ordinary infected creatures only yielded about 10 Gene Points. Even devouring creatures like electric eels provided only single-digit Gene Points.

But Hunters provided 500 Gene Points? Then how many points would a Leader Hunter, Supreme Hunter, Hydra, or even a Nest be worth?

However, the remaining Hunters weren't intimidated by Chang Wei's brutality. Instead, they seized the moment while he was ecstatic to launch another attack. Fortunately, although Chang Wei didn't experience the luxury of "time-stopping explanations," his thought processes had significantly accelerated. Those thoughts had flashed through his mind in just a split second.

Besides, who would stand dazed in a battle unless they had a poor sense of their surroundings?

"ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"

Chang Wei threw a left hook, sending one Hunter flying, then followed with a right swing, crushing another Hunter's head. The Hunter collapsed to the ground, and he unleashed a barrage of punches with his four arms, shattering the creature's entire skeleton. Finally, he stomped down with his foot, extending tendrils from his leg to disassemble and devour the mangled corpse.

"So strong!"

Morse was both excited and astonished. He was thrilled because it seemed he had finally encountered a kindred spirit. What shocked him was that this "kindred spirit" appeared to be far stronger than himself. That explosive musculature, those four powerful arms, and the sheer force to send a Hunter flying with one punch—all of it completely overpowered these monstrous creatures!

In just a few breaths, Chang Wei had taken down two Hunters. When the remaining three Hunters got back on their feet, they no longer attacked recklessly and fearlessly as before.

Hunters possessed intelligence; they weren't mindless zombies like ordinary infected creatures. Furthermore, fear was an innate biological instinct. Even creatures like Hunters, fused with the Blacklight Virus for weaponization, were no exception.

"Scared, little mutts?"

Chang Wei burst into maniacal laughter. Once he entered combat, he became utterly exhilarated. At that moment, women and games seemed utterly dull in comparison. He craved rivers of blood and the sight of living beings being pulverized beneath his feet...

With his enhanced muscles, Chang Wei's jumping and movement abilities had been greatly amplified. With a single stomp, he left behind a blur as he swiftly closed in on the three Hunters.

His left arm subdued one Hunter, while his right hand grabbed another, slamming them to the ground.

The three Hunters struggled frantically, and even Chang Wei found it challenging to maintain control.

Simultaneously grappling with three Hunters is my limit... Chang Wei's mind rapidly processed the situation. Controlling two Hunters felt manageable, while handling one was effortless. But three? That posed a constant risk of them breaking free.

However, his goal had never been to simply control them. Using the two hands of his left arm, he grabbed one Hunter by its head and neck, securing it far more firmly than the other two. Naturally, Chang Wei decided to deal with this one first.

With the hand gripping its head exerting force in one direction and the hand on its neck twisting in the opposite, Chang Wei violently rotated the Hunter's head.

After spinning it over 700 degrees, the Hunter's tough skull finally detached. Blood gushed from the decapitated corpse like a fountain, reaching several meters high. The spasmodic movements of the Hunter's body soon ceased as Chang Wei absorbed it.

Meanwhile, the other two Hunters managed to break free from his grip.

Once free, they immediately attempted to flee.

At this moment, Morse blocked the path of one Hunter. He had no intention of letting these creatures return to the city.

Chang Wei quickly reacted and pursued the other Hunter.

The fleeing Hunter was no match for Chang Wei's speed. He easily caught up, grabbed it, and tore it in half. The lifeless corpse dangled limply, resembling a slaughtered pig in a meat factory.
