Strongest Possessor of One Piece

Chapter 14: SPOP Chapter 14 Excellent Sword Arts

At the entrance, the slender figure wasn't particularly tall, yet Fred and Hant felt their eyes widen in shock as they looked at him.

"Did… did he do all this?"

They hadn't heard any screams or sounds of struggle. Just like that, four or five vicious pirates lay still on the floor. These weren't ordinary East Blue pirates— they were hardened veterans of the Grand Line, far stronger than any civilian or even most Marines.

Sordes, their notorious captain, had once commanded over a thousand pirates in East Blue. Yet, here on the ship, Fred and Hant had seen no more than fifty.

'What did this mean?'

It meant that most of the pirates had perished somewhere along their perilous journey, leaving behind only the most elite few.

These remaining pirates were terrifying— as they were highly skilled and ruthless, making them incredibly dangerous opponents.

And yet, they had fallen at Rojen's hands.

"Rojen, you!!" Fred stammered, disbelief washing over him.

"Let's go. Hiding won't help."

Rojen spoke in a calm, almost chilling tone.

Jett swallowed nervously, hesitant to speak. He realized the man before him possessed immense strength, though he couldn't fully grasp the extent of it.

"What are you going to do? There are so many pirates outside," Fred approached Rojen and asked while grabbing his arm.

Rojen paused, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Naturally, we'll take care of them."

His tone hardened. "This ship probably won't last much longer. We need to act quickly."

Fred and Jett exchanged confused glances. What did he mean by "act quickly"? Perhaps it was the recent ordeal that had given him an air of cold resolve, a steely determination.

Walking steadily on deck, Rojen seemed a changed man. His stride was confident, his face calm, devoid of fear. His eyes held a sharp gleam, a newfound vitality.

"Someone's here!"

Their boldness immediately drew the attention of the pirates as heavy footsteps echoed, and within seconds, pirates emerged.

Rojen remained unfazed as he walked forward with measured steps, his right hand resting lightly on the hilt of his sword. The pirate in front raised his machete and cursed, charging towards him. Fred and Jett, gripped by fear, watched in terror as the savage pirates advanced.

But in an instant, Rojen was upon them.

'Clink'

The sharp sound of a sword being drawn rang out in the surroundings. In a blur of motion, Rojen moved past the pirate.

The six pirates charging towards him froze, their faces contorted in horror before they crumpled to the ground, lifeless. Blood pooled beneath their fallen bodies, staining the deck.

Rojen moved with deliberate speed, heading towards the front of the ship. There, a large group of sailors and pirates had gathered.

The merchant ship, with over a hundred sailors and crew, was now under the control of thirty or more pirates, all armed. The pirates had formed a circle, trapping the crew within.

At the forefront, standing on the planks between the two ships, Sordes, wearing a captain's hat and a chilling expression, surveyed the scene. A revolver was holstered at his left side, and a Western-style longsword hung from his right. His entire presence exuded cruelty and bloodlust.

"Captain, we have everyone under control. We've already learned the location of the treasure from them."

A tall, thin pirate grinned at Sordes. He glanced at Lovins, who lay nearby, bleeding and bruised. Lovins was in charge of the warehouse.

"All of them are caught?"

A mocking smile spread across Sordes's face as his gaze shifted, locking onto Rojen and the others.

"So, what about those three?"

"I'm starting to seriously doubt your abilities!"

"If this continues, I wouldn't mind replacing you with a new batch."

There was a brief pause, and Sordes's tone suddenly turned icy.

"Do you understand what I mean?"

The pirate, skilled and experienced, paled. Sweat beaded on his forehead as he quickly bowed.

"Understood! Captain!"

He spun around and waved his hand, and seven or eight pirates charged toward Rojen and the others.

"Rojen, we've reached the pirate stronghold! Is it safe?" Fred asked, shivering with fear.

"It's definitely safe, Rojen's bounty is nearly ten times higher than that guy's!" Jett replied, attempting to offer reassurance, though his own heart pounded. He tried to maintain an outward appearance of calm.

Rojen listened to their words, shaking his head with a slight smile before his gaze hardened as he watched the approaching pirates.

At the front of the ship, numerous crew members lay scattered, clearly dead. It was evident these deaths were the work of the pirates.

Rojen's right hand tightened, and Rainbow Abyss was unsheathed with a crisp sound. He swung the sword, pointing it directly at the charging pirates.

"A swordsman, huh?"

"We have guns!"

Rojen didn't fully understand the fighting prowess of 'Legend of Qin', but at that moment, as the pirates raised their guns, his eyes narrowed and a dangerous, cold gleam flashed in his gaze.

'Whoosh!'

His body dropped low, and with a powerful thrust of his knees, he vanished before the pirates.

The distance between them was only ten meters, yet in the blink of an eye, Rojen had reached the charging pirates.

This was Ge Nie's 'Hundred Steps Flying Sword'. Within a hundred steps, his sword moved with incredible speed. His speed had reached a level of near perfection, and his control over his swordsmanship was unparalleled.

Years of experience and the depth of his swordsmanship were his greatest strengths.

At this moment, Rojen, embodying the spirit of Ge Nie, displayed extraordinary swordsmanship.

He took a step to the left, and with a horizontal slash of his right hand, blood splattered as a pirate screamed as he collapsed. In the blink of an eye, one pirate was slain. In the next instant, Rojen advanced again, facing the pirate with the gun.

His sharp gaze shone like a brilliant light, terrifying the pirate. The pirate's finger, poised on the trigger, trembled. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull it.

"Die!"

Rojen whispered, and his sword sliced through the air.

'Thud'

Blood sprayed as another pirate fell.
