Swordsman Who Is Good in Bed

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The Darkest Night

Chapter 4

Raka panicked. Unlike the previous day, he couldn't react at all this time.

"Hehe, is this our friend who's going to be the strongest swordsman in the universe?"

"He must have awakened the Sacred Sword Virtual Resonance!"

"Eh, eh, eh, wasn't the Sacred Sword Virtual Resonance awakened by Gabriel?"

"Ohh, I see. So what kind of Virtual Resonance did our strongest man awaken?"

"Hahah, it's a bed!"

"Ah, is it a bed?"

"Yes, it's a bed!"

"It seems our friend is going to be the strongest in the universe…"

"But in a dream!"

"Hahahahaha"

"Hahaha"

They laughed loudly, mocking Raka. The pent-up resentment they had harbored was finally released.

Their words pierced Raka's deepest wounds. He no longer saw them as human but as demons.

As if confirming Raka's thoughts, they began to beat him mercilessly.

"Hehe, is this a human who doesn't care about the mistakes of an ant?"

"Hahaha, let's see how that ant bites the human to death!" Tedy roared fiercely.

An ant floated above Tedy's head, reddish-black with terrifyingly fine hairs. Raka was shocked. His words had become reality.

Tedy snorted and brutally beat Raka. He was desperate when he awakened the Ant Virtual Resonance, even though its rank was slightly above average. He still remembered Raka's words from the night before. But now, he was happy because Raka, the arrogant one, had awakened a truly trashy Virtual Resonance!

Tedy and the others continued to beat Raka, using the innate skills of their Virtual Resonances. Raka vaguely saw the Ant Virtuals above their heads, confused about whether he was hallucinating or not.

However, he didn't have time to be confused. His body felt unbearable pain. He felt a dull ache, like being pricked by needles, dizziness, nausea, itching, burning, bitterness, burning, saltiness, and pain all at once.

They had truly awakened Ant Virtual Resonances with poison that caused strange symptoms.

Seeing Raka's desperate reaction, accompanied by unclear reactions, they became even more satisfied. They increased the quality and quantity of their attacks.

Raka was numb, not knowing how much time had passed. He, who had initially screamed hysterically like a duck about to be slaughtered, became silent despite being beaten several times.

They got bored and stopped. Seeing Raka cowering, they looked at each other. Bored, they left, not forgetting to taunt Raka with cruel mockery.

Tedy was still not satisfied, but he was tired. He kicked Raka in the stomach like he was kicking a ball, then left. On the way, he grimaced.

"Uhhh, what is that trash made of? Why does my leg hurt so much just from kicking it!"

He regretted kicking Raka in the stomach instead of his head. But since it was done, he was too embarrassed to go back and could only let it go.

In the corner, Oberon observed them with a dignified gaze. A queen ant with a crown appeared on his head—his Queen Ant Virtual Resonance. He stared intently at Raka, then left with a confused expression.

"That kid is really strange," Oberon said hesitantly.

He had investigated Raka. Even though Raka had awakened a Virtual Resonance below average, he was still cautious, afraid that Raka came from an elite family.

However, Raka was just an ordinary person. Only one word described him: ordinary.

However, it was this very ordinariness that puzzled Oberon. The other party was placed in the elite class despite his mediocre grades. Then there was his physical fitness and endurance, which even made his group suffer and tire despite using Virtual Resonances with higher ranks than the other party, which was powerless.

What made Oberon even more curious was Raka's Virtual Resonance. Not about the bed, but about the word "King" within it. As the owner of the word "Queen" in his Virtual Resonance, Oberon knew very well that the naming of Virtual Resonances wasn't just random. It was the result of a specific high-level computation that held deeper meaning.

For example, someone with the words "holy" or "angel" would mean their Virtual Resonance had attributes of light, good physical vitality, and was suitable for healing.

Then there were words like "dark" or "shadow", which meant their Virtual Resonance had dark attributes, good mental strength, and was suitable for illusionists.

Another example, like his own, with the word "Queen", meant he could rule, had wisdom, and other traits that were the result of the embodiment of his essence.

The other party had the word "King" in his Virtual Resonance, but his Virtual Resonance didn't reflect the qualities of a King at all.

Furthermore, Oberon remembered that Virtual Resonances with the word "King" in their name were never ranked below B. This was in stark contrast to Raka's Resonance, which was only D+.

After feeling confused, Oberon no longer intended to continue thinking and immediately left with his friends. Raka left alone, remained motionless, either because of the pain that restricted his body or the shame that stopped him from moving.

Drops of water...

Soon, lightning and thunder appeared along with the falling rain. Raka's entire body was soaked. However, despite this, Raka remained motionless.

Amidst the lightning and fire, a grain-sized drop of water fell from Raka's eyes, uncertain whether it was rainwater or his tears.

After an unknown amount of time, Raka's body finally moved and he got up with difficulty. He then walked unsteadily, as if he had become a soulless zombie.

Upon reaching home, Raka found that only his house was dark in the area. Seeing this, it wasn't clear what was going through Raka's mind. He then walked inside, looking lifeless as before.

Feeling the familiarity of home, Raka's mood improved slightly. He quickly took a shower. In the bathroom, Raka washed himself for a long time, seemingly oblivious to time.

After showering, Raka came out and still couldn't find his family members. He didn't care and went into his room.

There, Raka took his favorite sword and felt depressed again. He thought back over his days and once again realized how naive he was.

Then, Raka stared intently at the sword in his hand, feeling unfair.

Why did he have to dream of being a swordsman every chance he got?

Why was he so heroic in his dreams?

Why wasn't it real?

Why did it feel like he was told his destiny was to be a great swordsman, but when it came to the outcome, everything turned into an illusion?

There were many "whys" that now haunted Raka's mind. With this, Raka's mood plummeted again.

By evening, Raka's family finally returned home. Raka, seeing this, still didn't react.

Looking towards the room, Raka's father and mother felt guilty. Raka's mother wanted to open his bedroom door, but Raka's father stopped her with a silent shake of his head. Raka's mother, seeing this, could only worry.

After a while, Raka was called to eat, but there was still no movement from his room. Seeing this, Raka's mother didn't continue calling him and told Lusi to place Raka's plate in front of his room. Lusi did as her mother instructed and looked at Raka's room with a worried expression.

Raka, aware of the movement outside, still didn't react. He was still lost in his sadness. The dazed Raka was once again unaware that several auras that seemed to flow and burn like a mixture of water and fire entered his body. The strange auras still originated from the sword in his hand.

The more Raka thought, the more emotional he became. The sky was dark, and the rain was still falling outside. The movements of Raka's family members were also not visible, clearly, they had gone to rest in their respective rooms.

The more silent it became, the gloomier Raka's thoughts became. He felt complaints, he felt lonely. For some reason, Raka's emotions were so real, as if he had taken a feeling-multiplying drug that exacerbated his emotions.

Raka's mind became increasingly chaotic, and the aura from the sword flowed even more intensely towards Raka. This continued until Raka, who had initially been silent and shrinking in the darkness, began to stand upright, showing his determination. Reverently, Raka held the sword and pointed it at his head.

Not knowing what was going through Raka's mind, suddenly he plunged the sword into his eye with great cruelty, as if it wasn't his own body that would be injured by the suicide attack.

At that moment, the slightly worn but still emitting a cold aura and sharp gleam, the sword shot out.

Sing!
