Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Another Disciple
The night finally passed as Alaric and Edward walked through the streets of Bristol in broad daylight.
"Edward, you better not roam around this huge city," Alaric warned as they continued walking towards an alley way. "If you get lost, I will not find you and just return to the house immediately."
Young Edward only rolled his eyes, "Yeah-yeah."
As they walked into an alley, kids around their age could be seen talking to one another. They had tattered clothes, making Edward hide behind Alaric a little bit.
'What the—,' Alaric thought as he noticed how Edward hid, 'Aren't you supposed to be the older one?'
Internally sighing, the youngest Kenway just continued to walk towards the kids. 'Hmm... are they beggars?'
"Hey," Alaric stopped walking and called them, making their heads turn towards him. "Name's Alaric, is there some kind of beggar sect 'round here?"
"...Beggar Sect?"
"...Did he just call us beggars?"
"...What's a sect?"
'Alas, no one knows the power of Wuxia during this era,' Alaric chuckled slightly, however, this made one of the kids frown.
"Hey did you just laugh at us?" A kid that had a bald haircut walked towards Alaric and folded his arms, "D'you think we're dumb 'cause we don' know some word you came up?"
"Nah kid," Alaric smirked and placed his hands on his waist, "Anyways, do you know who's the richest man here in the city?"
"Kid?" The bald kid furiously raised an eyebrow, "Aren't ya a kid yourself? You even look younger than me... don't talk like an old man."
Edward, who was listening, began to slowly walk backward but stopped when he saw Alaric reach into his pouch. His eyes widened, and he decided to run away.
'What a pussy,' Sighing at Edward's cowardice, Alaric couldn't blame him, he was just a child. He then takes something from his pouch and flicked it towards the bald boy.

The bald kid catches it and identified what it was, he then staired at Alaric and snorts. "Follow me."
Alaric smirks as he followed.
...
Few minutes went by as Alaric could now see a suspicious looking dark wooden building, making him activate his Eagle Vision but turned it off after.
"By the way," Alaric said as they walked up the stairs of the building's ground terrace, "The name's Sam..."
"Sam huh..."
The bald kid took a glance at Alaric's face and then continued to walk, "You shouldn't give your name carelessly."
"I know," Alaric replies nonchalantly while scanning the area, "It's corny for you to say that when you're leading me into a thieves den..."
When Alaric activated his Eagle Vision, everyone inside the building were red. Alaric never considers just anyone to be an enemy, only thieves, bandits, slave traders, and etc.
The boy's eyes widened and immediately turned around quickly but Alaric stepped back a little to avoid a horizontal slash on the face, "Oh my... you could've damaged the face that could match Apollo's or Hermes'."
"C-Curses..." The boy grit his teeth and immediately turned around to run towards the doors but the collar of his tattered clothes was grabbed Alaric and was yanked away from the doors.
"You intended to tell your smelly-ass mates that I have information of your base?" Alaric grinned as he walked towards the boy who was gasping for air due to the impact of his back to the ground. "I thought we were friends... I even gave you ONE shilling."
Despite desperate for air, the boy slowly stood up, holding his knife tightly.
Seeing the boy's bravery, Alaric walks towards him and disarms the boy immediately, kicking the knife from his hand. "It seems I've found my second disciple."
"Wha-?" Before the boy could even ask, Alaric appeared by his side and chopped the back his neck, making him pass out on the ground.
"Haa~" Alaric sighed dramatically as he took a look at the bald kid. "It's so hard to discipline a disciple."
He then grabbed the boy's foot and dragged him towards the door, his head hitting every single step of the stairs.
Opening the doors, Alaric was greeted of the sight of broody people who were busy with their shady jobs. One man was counting his coins, three were talking with a small layout on the table, another was brandishing his dagger.
"Huh, a kid? Wait," One of the three men that were focusing on the table looked up to see Alaric... and, "Hey, ain't that Reuben!?"
"What!?"
All of them got alerted when they saw Alaric who was dragging the now named Reuben's feet.
"Hey kid, why don't you drop that boy's foot and tell us what happened?" The man who was brandishing his dagger stopped his work and walked towards Alaric, leaving his dagger behind.
As the man neared them, he crouched to Alaric's eye level and glares at him, trying to scare him. "Did you do this?"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Hey Edgar, just get rid of the kid will ya?" The man that was counting coins stated and continued to his counting, "And go to some apothecary to patch that kid Reuben up."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Hey Edgar, quit fooling around," The man stopped counting his coins and got up, walking towards Edgar.
Every step he took made the others grow confused, but the moment the man approached Edgar and place a hand on his shoulder, Edgar's body suddenly dropped backwards. Revealing an unfamiliar type of blade, plunged on Edgar's neck.
"W-What!?"
"F-Fuck!"
"Edgar!" The man shouted as he glared towards Alaric who only smiled like a kid. "You!"
He proceeded to unsheathe a dagger out from his belt, but could only stop as he looked down. He widened his eyes as the weapon that was the same as the one that was plunged to Edgar's neck was stabbed in his abdomen.
"Ah... UGHH!!!" He grunts but found it difficult as his abdomen was fully stabbed by the kunai that Alaric threw.
"Wallace!! Damn that kid!"
They immediately took out their weapons as soon as they saw Wallace's abdomen, but they didn't immediately jump towards the kid as they somehow got cold feet. The kid took down two people in less than a minute.
They could only look as Alaric kicked the dagger that was falling from Wallace's hand towards the middle of the three, making the one in the middle choke while the dagger dug deep in his throat.
"D-Damn you kid!" One immediately dashed towards Alaric with his own dagger aiming for the kid's face. However, Alaric was faster, immediately applying chakra and kicked the thief's shin.
*CRACK*
"AHHH!"
The thief's shin fractured from the force of Alaric's kick, making him scream in pain.
Seeing the thief falling towards him, Alaric swiftly grabs the thief's dagger from his hand and stabbed it behind the chin upwards, killing him immediately. He then unsheathes another kunai as the last thief decided to run towards a window.
Alaric applied chakra to his hand and the kunai, and threw it towards the thief's calves, only to hit a more vital spot, the Achilles heel.
"AHHH!"
'Fortunately... but damn, I need practice.'
The thief didn't bother trying to tend to his heel and began to crawl as fast as he could and tried to open the window. Alaric dashed behind the thief and immediately applied some chakra and slapped the thief's right ear so hard the he could see the thief's reflection on the window. Blood came out of his eyes and nose as he fell to the floor.
'Madara's Taijutsu is fucking awesome,' Alaric thought as he recreated the scenario on his mind, 'I haven't even practiced the Taijutsu that much yet, but the badassery of it is starting to show. Let's fucking go!'
Due to the lingering red hues, there were more people upstairs, about ten of them, 'That's more like it... how about no Mangekyo this time?'
"You can stop acting now," Alaric then turned around to see the bald kid flinching, "Gather all their items and wait for me."
Alaric walked towards the bald kid and devilishly grinned, "You know what will happen if you run away, right?"
"Y-YES!" Reuben exclaimed and immediately gathered the items of the thieves' dead bodies.
The young Kenway then walks up the stairs and looks at Reuben once again, 'He woke up fast, I used the same amount of power when I chopped uncle's neck... as expected of my disciple.'
"Oh, remove their clothes too and pile 'em up in one place."
"H-Huh?"
