Chapter 19: Chapter 19: What the F*cking Sh*tbricks

"Remember, just pretend you're a friend of mine."

"Yeah, okay..."

Alaric, Edward and Reuben were now in front of Solomon's house. Alaric wanted Reuben to pretend like they're friends and Reuben needs somewhere to crash for the night.

As Edward opened the front door, everybody got in. There was no one in the Grand Hall, confusing Edward and Alaric.

Edward was naturally confused since his parents, uncle and auntie and sometimes Solomon would gather at the Grand Hall to talk.

Alaric, however, was confused as to why he could feel their signatures upstairs. 'Wait... signatures?'

Alaric immediately activated his Sharingan and saw seven chakra signatures upstairs, 'I was right... how? Hashirama's chakra and physique? I should harness this...'

'What about chakra? How come they have it? Does this mean everyone has chakra? I mean... there's Isu in this world, why not chakra right?'

'Or maybe chakra is innate and it's just called differently by other people?'

Deactivating the Dojutsu, Alaric then led the way upstairs with Edward and Reuben following.

As they reached the 2nd floor, Alaric could hear people talking from the distance. 'It seems they're talking to Thulani...'

'Of course,' Alaric and the others reached the room where Thulani currently stayed in and saw Solomon, the woman who hugged Linette last time, Bernard, Linette and his parents talking to the dark skinned boy. 'I figured they'd be curious.'

"Hello..."

"Ah!"

"Blimey!"

"Stop appearing out of nowhere kid!" Bernard comically placed his hand on his heart, feeling his heart beat.

"I apologize to thee," Alaric grinned while nudging Reuben from his back, "I came to introduce ya'll to someone."

"Introduce?"

"Someone?"

Edward could only sheepishly laugh as Reuben got dragged by Alaric inside the room.

"This is Reuben, a friend of ours!" Alaric stated as Edward awkwardly nodded.

"A friend?"

The adults were surprised to see a bald kid a little bit taller than Alaric and Edward.

"A friend ey?" Bernard smirked as he elbowed his wife Linette. "Ye sure he ain't just another slave ye fancy takin' in?"

'A slave?' Reuben thought as he widened his eyes, finally seeing the dark-skinned boy. 'Damn! What am I getting myself into!?'

"True, I want to take him in... but he's not a slave, hehe..." Alaric eyes Solomon while the adults of the Kenway family got shocked.

"What!?"

"Ye bringin' in another child!?"

"Are ye mad, 'Laric?"

"Ye plannin' to take in all the runts o' Bristol!?"

Alaric could only laugh slightly as Solomon kept a calm gaze and looked at the woman beside him.

"'Laric… this here's Helena," Solomon calmly introduced her, "You never did learn her name, aye?"

The youngest Kenway nodded and Solomon nodded in return.

"Helena's got words for you... let's move quarters," Solomon said as the adults of the Kenway family became silent.

"Lead the way," Alaric smiled as he placed a hand on Reuben's shoulder, "Introduce yourself to them, and try to be friends with Thulani... him..."

Reuben looked the person whom Alaric pointed his fingers to. 'The slave? Does that mean... that slave's the first disciple?'

The bald-headed kid could only reluctantly nod as Alaric, Solomon and Helena moved to another room.

---

Alaric and the other two now sat on the chairs of another room and stared at each other.

"So... you're Alaric ey?" Helena started as she eyed the blonde, "Solomon's told me plenty 'bout you."

"Oh?" Alaric's eyebrows raised as soon as she heard her talking, "Did he also tell you that I know you guys are Assassins?"

Helena then took a look at Solomon, then back at Alaric as she smiled. "So it's really true... Solomon said you got these... memories... from an Isu fragment, is that true?"

"Yes... I also know that there are Assassins operating in lots of countries," Alaric replied as he placed a hand on the table.

"..."

"..."

"Y'see... I can't quite believe this," Helena sighed as she unfolded a handfan and fanned herself slowly, "Let's say this is all one big coincidence..."

"Coincidence?" Alaric questioned raising a brow, "Knowing about the brotherhood, and the history of the Hidden Ones? That's all one big coincidence to you?"

"Maybe? We don't even know if the Templars sent you?" Helena replied, continuing to fan herself, "This world's got plenty o' roads to take… but I ain't fool enough to drop me guard."

"..."

"I can be a witness," Solomon finally said something, making both Alaric and Helena look at him. "He offed a Templar in… well, let's call it an interestin' fashion."

"Oh? Tell me?" Helena inquired with curiousity.

"A blade from the far east, right through a Templar's throat, last night."

"Eastern part of the world, you say?" Helena mused as Alaric grabbed a kunai from his pouch and spun it in the air, catching it, making Helena's eyes glimmer. "From that catch alone, I can see you're skilled."

Alaric only nodded his head while Helena continued.

"This is... interesting, really interesting," She narrows her eyes making Alaric sigh.

"You done questioning the boy, Helena?" Solomon asked the female Assassin as she nodded her head in return. "There is another thing I wanted to tell you 'Laric..."

Alaric only turned his head to look at the Egyptian, giving his attention to him.

"I've been contacted by the brotherhood in Egypt," Solomon started then sighed, "Unfortunately I can no longer help you with you business as I'm needed there."

"..."

"..."

"Damn..."

"I apologize..."

"..."

"..."

"What about the house? Will it get transferred to Helena?"

"It IS my house, however," Helena shook her head, "I'm goin' to be sailin' for New England, my mentor's set a meetin' there. Can't also be leavin' this house to your family, got a crazy buyer lined up waitin' to take it off my hands."

"..."

"Sorry, lad, but I need the coin too… gotta pay my way across the seas."

"I could just give you the money you need..." Alaric got his hopes up a little bit and prepared to withdraw from the system but saw Helena shaking her head.

"As I said... "Crazy Buyer"," Helena held her hands in a quotation mark sign, "If I don't give him the house, I'm pretty sure he'll do anything he wants to have it. He's rich too, so he'll hire people to come here, pretty sure you don't want anyone finding out 'bout your little business with your dark-skinned friend over there."

"I could just..."

"..."

"..." *Sigh*

"You could what?"

"Y'know... kill him?"

"Damn it, kid!" Helena sighed as she fanned her handfan a little harder this time, "He's a civilian! You can't go 'round killin' folk like 'im!"

"Damn..."

"Sorry..."

"And when will you guys leave?" Alaric questioned gloomingly, 'What the fucking shitbricks...'

"Sunrise."

"The both of you?"

"Yes..."

"..."

"I'm sorry kid..."

"..."

"..."

"Fuck..."
