The billionaire's secret system

Chapter 2: THE FLIGHT TO TOKYO

Chapter Two: The Flight to Tokyo

The hum of private jet engines filled the cabin as Jiang Wei leaned back in his leather seat, his sharp eyes scanning the encrypted report on his tablet. The Kai Corporation breach was more than just an intrusion—it was a direct challenge.

Someone inside their ranks had discovered his secret system, and they weren't just after it. They were trying to replicate it.

"A fool's attempt," Jiang Wei thought.

The technology behind his system wasn't just about data and algorithms—it was the result of over a decade of personal refinement, real-world testing, and instincts honed through years of high-stakes trading. Even with the best resources, Kai Corp couldn't recreate what they didn't fully understand.

Still, the fact that they had even come close was unacceptable.

A soft chime rang through the jet's cabin. Lei Ming, his most trusted strategist, walked in from the cockpit, holding a secure tablet.

Kai Corporation's Real Intentions

Lei set the tablet down on the table between them, his face unusually grim. "Boss, the deeper I dig, the worse this looks."

Jiang Wei gestured for him to continue, his expression unreadable.

"Yamada Ryo isn't acting alone," Lei said, sliding the tablet forward. "The investors attending tomorrow's presentation? Some of them are directly linked to the government. If Kai Corp succeeds in pitching their AI model, it won't just be a corporate battle—it'll be a war between financial powerhouses."

Jiang Wei narrowed his eyes.

If Tokyo's financial elite were involved, this was no longer just about stealing his system—it was about controlling the future of global finance.

Lei swiped across the tablet's screen, bringing up a set of confidential reports. "There's something else. Kai Corporation has been quietly acquiring stakes in multiple hedge funds across Asia, funneling money into offshore accounts. This isn't just about creating their own trading algorithm—they're preparing for something bigger."

Jiang Wei's jaw tightened. He had spent years operating in the shadows, carefully avoiding drawing attention to his trading system. If Kai Corp had discovered its existence, they weren't just after his technology.

They wanted to weaponize it.

"Who's backing them?" Jiang Wei asked, his voice sharp.

Lei hesitated. "Miyamoto Ren."

Silence filled the cabin.

Jiang Wei's grip on his glass tightened. Miyamoto Ren.

A name he hadn't heard in years.

A name that belonged to a rival from the past—a man who had once tried to crush him in the financial world and failed. But if he was connected to Kai Corp now… it meant this wasn't just about business anymore.

It was personal.

A Rival Returns

Jiang Wei set his whiskey down, his fingers tapping rhythmically against the armrest.

Miyamoto Ren had once been his greatest competitor.

Years ago, when Jiang Wei was still rising in the financial world, Miyamoto had used every trick possible to cripple his investments, spreading false rumors, manipulating markets, and even bribing regulators to block his early ventures.

For a moment, it had seemed like he would win.

But Jiang Wei had done what he always did—adapt and outmaneuver. He struck back in a way Miyamoto never expected, exploiting weaknesses in his hedge fund's liquidity, forcing his assets into a rapid and brutal collapse.

Miyamoto had disappeared after that, retreating from the financial world.

Or so he thought.

Now, he was resurfacing. And if he had aligned himself with Kai Corp, then tomorrow's investor meeting wasn't just about unveiling an AI model.

It was about revenge.

The Flight into Enemy Territory

Lei's voice broke through Jiang Wei's thoughts. "What's the move, boss?"

Jiang Wei exhaled slowly, his mind already formulating the next step. "We disrupt the meeting. If Kai Corp thinks they can use my technology to dominate the financial world, they're about to learn the hard way—I don't play by their rules."

Lei smirked. "Should I arrange for our informant to leak the AI model's weaknesses before the presentation?"

Jiang Wei shook his head. "No. That would just delay them. We need to hit them where it hurts." He tapped the tablet's screen, highlighting the offshore accounts. "Find out where they're pulling their funds from. If they have hidden investors, I want names. If there's illegal activity, I want proof."

Lei nodded. "Understood."

The jet began its descent into Tokyo's private airport, the city lights stretching endlessly beneath them. Jiang Wei straightened his tie, his expression unreadable.

Tomorrow, he would walk into the enemy's den.

But he wasn't coming to negotiate.

He was coming to remind them who truly controlled the game.
