The billionaire's secret system

Chapter 3: THE WOLVES OF TOKYO

Chapter Three: The Wolves of Tokyo

The black Maybach S-Class glided through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo, its tinted windows concealing the man inside. Jiang Wei sat in the back seat, fingers steepled, his eyes fixed on the towering skyline. The city had changed in the years since his last visit, but one thing remained the same—it was still ruled by those who controlled the flow of money.

Tonight, he wasn't here as a guest.

He was here to hunt.

Beside him, Lei Ming was scanning the latest reports on his tablet. "Our sources confirmed it. Miyamoto Ren has been operating from the top floor of the Mori Financial Building. That's where the investor meeting will be held in two hours."

Jiang Wei didn't respond immediately. He already knew what kind of game Miyamoto was playing—a show of power. Hosting the meeting at one of Tokyo's most prestigious financial centers wasn't just about impressing investors. It was about sending a message.

Kai Corporation was ready to take the throne.

Too bad Jiang Wei wasn't the type to kneel.

The Silent War Begins

"Security?" Jiang Wei finally asked.

Lei tapped on the screen. "Tight. Private guards at every entrance, biometric access to the top floors, and a separate, hidden server room connected to their AI prototype. If we want to cripple them, that's our best target."

Jiang Wei leaned back, exhaling slowly. A direct attack wasn't his style. Anyone could bring a gun to a fight—but true power belonged to the one who could rewrite the rules of the game before his opponent even realized it.

"What about our informant inside?" he asked.

Lei smirked. "Already in position. Once the presentation begins, he'll send us a live feed of their AI's test results. If they've managed to copy even a fraction of your system, we'll know."

Jiang Wei's gaze darkened. If Kai Corp's algorithm was even one-tenth as effective as his own, it was still a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands.

And he wasn't about to let his creation be used against him.

The Hidden Pieces

The car pulled into a private underground garage beneath Aoyama Towers, one of Jiang Wei's discreet holdings in Tokyo. As he stepped out, a team of security personnel greeted him with deep bows.

Inside, the penthouse suite was already prepped for business. Multiple screens flickered to life, displaying stock charts, corporate reports, and surveillance footage from the Mori Financial Building.

Lei handed Jiang Wei a tablet with new information. "We found something interesting. Miyamoto Ren has been making quiet moves in the Japanese stock market, particularly in tech and AI-focused companies. If he's building a financial empire, he's not doing it alone."

Jiang Wei scrolled through the data. The names on the investment lists weren't just tech firms—they were companies with direct ties to the government.

His lips curled into a smirk. So that's how they were playing it.

Miyamoto wasn't trying to replace Jiang Wei in the private sector. He was trying to reshape the entire market with government-backed support.

If this worked, Japan wouldn't just have an advanced AI-driven financial network—they'd have a system capable of controlling entire economies.

Jiang Wei closed the tablet. "Call our contacts in Singapore and Hong Kong."

Lei raised an eyebrow. "You're moving that fast?"

"We're not just stopping Miyamoto," Jiang Wei said calmly. "We're erasing him from the board."

The Meeting Begins

An hour later, Jiang Wei and Lei entered the Mori Financial Building, their presence unnoticed among the sea of Tokyo's elite. The rooftop lounge had been transformed into an exclusive investor event, where men in tailored suits and women in designer dresses discussed billion-dollar deals over glasses of aged whiskey.

At the center of it all stood Miyamoto Ren.

He hadn't changed much—still exuding that same arrogance Jiang Wei remembered from years ago. His voice carried through the room as he spoke to the gathered investors.

"Gentlemen, we stand at the dawn of a new financial era. With our advanced AI model, we will no longer be predicting the market—we will be controlling it."

Jiang Wei took a sip of his drink, his expression unreadable.

Miyamoto continued, oblivious to the presence of his old rival. "Our AI has already been tested on live markets. The results? A consistent 89% prediction accuracy. Within months, we will redefine global finance."

The investors murmured in approval.

But Jiang Wei remained unimpressed.

Lei's voice was quiet as he handed him an earpiece. "Our informant just sent the live feed. You'll want to see this."

Jiang Wei placed the earpiece in, and the moment he did, a small smile formed on his lips.

He had just seen Kai Corporation's greatest weakness.

The Trap is Set

Miyamoto was still speaking when Jiang Wei finally decided to make his move. He stepped forward, his presence sending a ripple through the crowd.

Miyamoto's eyes widened slightly as he saw him.

"Jiang Wei," he said, recovering quickly. His voice was smooth, but there was an unmistakable hint of tension. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Jiang Wei smiled. "That's the problem with you, Miyamoto. You never see me coming."

A flicker of unease crossed Miyamoto's face.

Jiang Wei turned to the crowd, raising his glass slightly. "A new financial era, you say?" His tone was casual, yet every investor in the room was now focused on him. "That's an interesting claim. But tell me… has your AI been tested against real-world volatility? Or is it just a theoretical model?"

Miyamoto's jaw tightened. "Our AI has been rigorously tested—"

Jiang Wei chuckled, cutting him off. "Then you won't mind a demonstration."

The investors glanced at each other. Jiang Wei's name alone carried enough weight to shake financial markets. If he was challenging Kai Corp, it meant something was wrong.

Miyamoto forced a smile. "We'd be happy to showcase our model in a live test."

Jiang Wei met his gaze, knowing full well that the next few minutes would determine the future of Kai Corporation.

Because what Miyamoto didn't realize—what no one in the room knew—was that Jiang Wei had already sabotaged the AI system from the inside.
