Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Forsaken Son
My name is Shen Li, born into the prestigious Shen Sect, a family that inherited the bloodline of higher beings. I am the 11th son of the Shen Emperor, ruler of Primodia—the highest and most powerful continent in the world.
The first emperor of Primodia, my ancestor, was a being of unmatched strength, capable of facing any danger and surpassing all living creatures. He was the only one in history to reach the Ultimate Realm, a level of power beyond mortal comprehension. However, even he met his end—his body unable to withstand the burden of his limitless strength.
Before his death, he left behind a final message, but it was meant for me alone. Despite the weight of his words, I never desired power, prestige, or war. My only wish in life was simple—to marry a kind and loving woman.
But fate was never kind to me.
On the day of my awakening, the cruelest truth was revealed—I did not inherit my father's divine bloodline. Unlike my brothers and sisters, I was born without a divine bone, without an innate cultivation body. Even worse, my dantian was shattered, rendering me incapable of cultivation.
The moment this was discovered, my mother and siblings turned their backs on me. The once noble Shen Li became nothing more than a disgrace. My name was stripped from the family records, and I was treated as inferior even to the lowest servants.
However, I was not expelled from the sect. The only reason I was allowed to stay was because of my father's final words—words that no one but me knew.
By the time I turned 15, my family arranged a marriage for me. My bride was Zhen Tianlan, the daughter of the Emperor of the Zhen Sect, rulers of the Terravum Continent. This marriage was nothing more than a political strategy—a way for my so-called family to establish deeper ties with the Zhen Sect.
A contract was made. In exchange for this marriage, I would finally reveal the last words of my father to my mother and the Shen elders.
At first, I thought this arrangement might be a blessing. My fiancée, Tianlan, was known to be kind, gentle, and beautiful—a woman truly worthy of being called a princess. But I made a terrible mistake.
On the night of our wedding, as we entered the bridal chamber, I was suddenly ambushed by my own brothers. They activated a powerful restriction array, sealing my movements completely. Desperate, I pleaded with Tianlan for help, but she only smiled cruelly say.
"My work is done… Goodbye."
With those words, she turned her back on me. Then, before my helpless eyes, three of my own brothers and her have fun in front of me—laughing as they did so. I could do nothing but watch, powerless, as my heart shattered.
I wanted to scream. To kill. To burn everything to the ground.
But I was nothing—a crippled trash unworthy of justice. Even if I told my mother, she would do nothing to help me.
Once my so-called brothers were done, I was dragged to the main hall, where my mother, the 54 Great Elders of the Shen Sect, and my father-in-law, Emperor Zhen, were already waiting.
They demanded that I reveal my father's final words as per the contract. Since they had "fulfilled my wish" by giving me a wife, they now expected me to fulfill my end of the bargain.
But I just laughed—a deep, bitter laugh filled with all the hatred I had suppressed for years and say to them.
"You will all die, you old shit of bastards."
My words enraged them. Without hesitation, they ordered the guards to shackle me. Then, before the entire hall, they forced poison down my throat—a poison designed to kill me slowly over the next 24 hours.
I was dragged through the streets, humiliated for the last time.
The people laughed at me. My own brothers and sisters stood at the sect gates, mocking me as I was cast out,and said.
"Oh, the useless trash is finally leaving! Hahaha!"
I clenched my fists, but I was powerless. I had no strength, no divine blood, no one to rely on.
After that I was abandoned, poisoned, and left to die in middle of nowhere—my fate was sealed.
Or so they thought.
