Chapter 97: Pink Cockroach
'How can a demon be this damn big! That thing must have been 500 feet tall!' Bane complained internally as he marched back to the massive cavern. His red dragon had been huge, but this thing was on a whole other level.
Bane was not only angry that the creature was so large, and hard to hurt, but it didn't seem to have any problem ignoring him, and trying to crush him. He had tried talking, but the giant creature just kept on stepping on him.
"I am back, Rocky, you can't ignore me forever!" Bane roared as he marched in, and the cavern shook as the giant demon walked over, and smashed him into the floor.
Bane was pissed, but he didn't have time to react, and was flattened by the rock demon's foot. Like a cartoon character, Bane peeled his face up from the floor, and glared up at the towering form of the Rock Demon.
"Hey! Stop that, you asshole! I am talking to you!" Bane screamed, and the demon lifted his foot and brought it back down, but Bane rolled to the side, and kicked off the ground, barely avoiding the stomp.
The ground shook as the 500-foot-tall demon stomped its foot down.
Bane was now in the open, and he could see the Rock Demons entire body, but not its head, or barely it's shoulders. For some reason, Bane felt like he should be thankful for this, but he didn't have time to wonder why as another foot descended from the sky, and came crashing down towards him.
*CRASH!!*
Bane was sent flying through the air from the impact as he tried to dodge again, and hit the wall, and dropped down, and was crushed a third time by the demon's foot.
"Man, this is starting to get old," Bane growled, not bothering to get up.
The giant stomped him an uncountable number of times, but Bane was already jammed in the floor, so he took a nap. Far up above, Roccarionite Basaltorax focus on stomping out the pink cockroach. The giant demons hated bugs and insects, but most demons were considered that compared to him. The demon had a particularly strong hate for cockroaches. The type that just didn't seem to want to die like this one he was trying to stomp into paste, but having little success.
Roccarionite Basaltorax had spent his entire existence being hunted. That was all that demons knew, but now Roccarionite Basaltorax was the biggest demon, and none could challenge him. Any demon that came in the past would be turned into a red paste, or mist from a single strike.
However, this pink thing was proving to be a nuisance, and it would not die, no matter how many times Roccarionite Basaltorax attempted, the pink thing was still alive, and it was pissing him off.
After an hour of crushing, Roccarionite Basaltorax let out an enraged roar, and began to stomp on the spot again and again, making the whole mountain shake, and the ground tremble. He finally stopped, and leaned down, having to get on his massive hands and knees because his body was heavy.
"Is that bug sleeping?" Roccarionite Basaltorax asked out loud in a low and gravelly voice that vibrated the air.
Bane sat up in alarm. "I wasn't touching your boobs! ...Wait, this isn't my bedroom! And my wife is infinitely prettier than your ugly mug!"
Roccarionite Basaltorax narrowed its eye that was bigger than most buildings, and focused on the annoying pink thing that was giving him trouble.
"It speaks. How do you live? Why do you not die?"
"Fuck you! I was speaking to you the entire time!" Bane snapped as he hopped up.
"You were talking. I was ignoring. You are annoying, and will die," Roccarionite Basaltorax spoke slowly, his voice making the entire mountain shake.
"Fair, but I am the one that came here to do the killing!" Bane laughed, and then burst forward, and jumped onto one of the stone demons' truck-sized fingers.
Seeing this, the demon started to freak out as he tried to get back up and knock Bane off his hand he was scurrying up.
"Get off my hand!" the demon bellowed, and started to swing his arm wildly.
Bane was having the time of his life. It was the first time he had ever seen a giant demon freak out, and he was loving every second of it. He had been wracking his brain on how to deal with this thing, but for some reason the image of a mouse and an elephant came into his mind. The reason elephants didn't like mice was that the mice would go into their long noses and ears, and nibble on the flesh.
Bane was going to try and do the same. The problem was, he didn't have his weapons, and would have to do it with his bare hands. It wasn't impossible, but he would have preferred a blade or something.
"You want me off your hand, then make me!" Bane yelled back, and jumped onto the demon's wrist, and the monster shook his hand, but Bane wasn't thrown off.
The giant demon didn't know what to do. Nothing had ever gotten this far, and was now crawling up his arm.
"I'll crush you!" Roccarionite Basaltorax shouted, and swung his other fist, and it passed through the empty space, and the momentum pulled the demon off balance, and he crashed to the ground.
"Hahaha, good luck!" Bane taunted as he climbed the giant arm like an insect.
Roccarionite Basaltorax had an internal panic attack. The small creature was getting closer, and he could not do anything about it.
"GET OFF!" Roccarionite Basaltorax wailed in a deep voice.
Bane was laughing the whole way up the demon's body as it tried to slap him like a mosquito with very little success. His hands were too large, and Bane kept slipping between them.
'This is hilarious! If only I had a camera.'
Bane reached the demon's shoulders, and he paused.
"So, what now? I was going to go in your ears, but those are big," Bane said, and the demon froze, and a chill went up his spine.
"What are you saying?" Roccarionite Basaltorax demanded.
"I think the real question is, where does a rock demon hide his heart? Time for another adventure to find out!" Bane cackled and dove into the cave-like ear hole of the stone demon.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" the demon shouted in a panicked voice, and started to roll around.
'Oh shit!' Bane yelled as his world started to spin, and the walls of the demon's ear closed in.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Bane's scream was drowned out by the rock demon's roar of pain.
'FUCKING HELL!!!' Bane complained internally as he was ping ponging deeper into the demon's ear, becoming covered in a yellow tacky grease that reeked.
Roccarionite Basaltorax clutched the side of his head as a pain like no other spread out from the tiny cockroach crawling around in his head. The rock demon had been alive for longer than most races, and he had never experienced pain like this. It felt like the cockroach was digging his way through his brain.
"STOP!" Roccarionite Basaltorax begged the tiny bug, but there was no answer.
Bane was cursing as he crawled through the slimy canal, but he finally came to a giant chamber with a massive red glittering gem that was held up by strands of pulsating flesh.
"That must be it," Bane whispered as he stared at the gem.
Bane had been through hell. He was covered in yellow gunk that stank like rotting meat, and it was burning his skin. On the plus side, the room smelled like strawberries for some reason, and the scent only got stronger the closer he got. Curious, Bane pulled out the other crystal he had gotten from the other demon, Garlock. IT was still clean, so Ban put it up to his nose, and sniffed it.
"The fuck?" Bane questioned, smelling the scent of strawberries coming from it as well. "Is it a gem, or candy?"
Staring at the crystal, Bane decided to try and give it a lick, but he paused just before his tongue reached the smooth surface. He had just pulled it out of the inside of a demon's head, and wasn't sure if he should just lick it.
"What the hell, if I die, I die."
Bane put the crystal to his lips and gave it a quick flick of his tongue.
"Holy shit, this is really good!"
Bane quickly popped the big gem into his mouth, and then began trying to chew it, but it took him a bit to break it apart in his mouth, but it was worth it. Letting out an ecstasy filled moan, Bane fell on his ass as a rush of pleasure spread through his entire body.
"This is fucking amazing!"
Bane continued to chew the candy as his body trembled, and the yellow goop evaporated from his body. Bane looked down at his own body, and saw his skin was no longer a light tan color, but was now a dark, almost black, pink.
Bane didn't know what was going on, but he couldn't care less at the moment. The candy was done, and now he was looking at the ten foot tall one that was suspended in the middle of the room.
"Maybe just a couple bites?" Bane pondered, and reached for the massive crystal.
He grabbed it, and pulled, but it was stuck in place.
"I wonder if a couple of bites will be enough? Maybe I can pull out a piece and try it? These damn flesh vines are in my way!" Bane cursed, and then ripped one of the pulsating vines free, and the rock demon let out a pained roar.
"What did I say?"
Bane pulled the gem out and took a bite, and a rush of pleasure shot through his body.
"Ahhhhhh~"
Roccarionite Basaltorax was on the verge of going mad. He had never had anyone crawl around inside his head, and now the bug was eating his heart.
"HELP!" Roccarionite Basaltorax wailed for the first time since he was young.
"Hey, I heard someone call for help! Where are you!" a voice called back, and Roccarionite Basaltorax was both surprised and overjoyed, but then he realized that it was coming from beside his ear as Bane walked out of it, carrying the pulsating massive jewel that had a bunch of shattered bites out of it. "Have you tried this stuff? Fucking delicious!"
"No! No! NO! Give that back, you filthy pink vermin!"
"I am not a vermin, and I will not give it back, I want it all!" Bane growled, and he jumped into the air, and punched the red gem, and a wave of power erupted from the impact, and Roccarionite Basaltorax felt his world go dark.
The massive demon died in silence as Bane greedily scooped up and devoured the red fragments.
"Now that was a good fight," Bane sighed happily as he licked his fingers clean, and then his gaze went to the body of the dead demon. "And a tasty treat."
