The Princes second chance

After walking for what seems like forever I see the mana in the air getting stronger the deeper I venture into the library it gets harder and harder to breathe from the pressure of the strong mana but I push forward while walking my mind slips back to how in my past life before I could ever find the book I'm looking for it had been destroyed with this manner known as the manner of the endless library or its name the vaelith manner in my past life I had done researched on ancient text and the only way I had come to knowledge about the book was because of the creator of it a man named Kaelith Lioren an ancient mage who had been known for giving ordinary people the ability to gain a mana core he was judged and banished by other mages and had created books about mana and spells the book that allowed for a person with no mana to gain a mana core was in this library thank fully the manner had been reserved when I was exiled here in my previous life since the nobles who used to reside here had left it to be forgotten but some of the servants had stayed never wanting the memories of the library to fade

After walking for more time the mana in the air shifts as it gets stronger this tells me that I'm getting closer to the book I'm looking for each book here has its own aura of mana and with the time I have I may be able to save some of these books if I get the right mana attribute if the books instructions work I'm suddenly pulled from my thoughts when I see a book on a shelf holding powerful aura I walk over to it feeling the power of the mana coming from it. This is it the book I have been looking for.

I take the book from the shelf feeling the difference in mana that radiates off it the golden white aura from the mana makes the air harder to breathe I open the book to read it's contents so that I can begin on creating my mana core so that I can be stronger I flip the book over to see the name of the book as it is called awakening of the mana core I open the book to view its see contents I flip through the pages seeing advanced spells and magic that I can not access yet finally landing on the page it is full of notes and drawings of mana cores I don't waste any time and begin reading it

I think to myself "there is only one way to find out if this will work" I set the book on the ground and sit on the floor with my legs crossed as I sigh and close my eyes. I begin to feel the mana in the air and bring it in with every breath drawing in more mana to flow inside while I'm focusing there is a sudden weight on my chest a pain that feels as if it is crushing my soul my breathing falters a bit but despite the pain worsening I keep my focus since this is nothing compared to what I have faced in my past life but this younger form of myself isn't adapted as my past life body was the pain worsens with the mana core forming.

After what feels like an eternity the pain subsides and the pain is replaced with a since of relief and also strength as I'm able to feel the mana flowing through my body my blood as well and the mana pumping through my heart I smile and sigh my happiness showing brightly on my face

"i did it i..i actually formed my first mana core" 

I think to myself finally I can get stronger with this all now I can get the power I need to save the people I couldn't in my past this is my first stepping stone to my new life I wont let my past mistakes happen again before I could fall more into my thoughts I'm brought back by the system window with its iconic red writing

I look at the words and wonder with confusion about the rewards "what does XP mean were am I supposed to use the coins I guess time will tell" I put my hand on my head and sigh I pick up the book seeing that the mana radiating off the book isn't effecting me as bad any more I can feel the fatigue in myself I remember that the system should have told me about what mana attribute I got but I'm too exhausted to care as then the writing on the system window changes
