The Rise of the Titan

Chapter 522: Chapter 522: If You Can't Do It, Let Me!

"Can you guys hold on? I can't keep this up much longer!" The shield warrior, blocking the relentless strikes of the massive ice dragon's claws, asked in a somewhat frustrated tone through their soul communication.

The heavy armor on the shield warrior, Hank Pym, was stained crimson with his own blood, seeping from his wounds. The once radiant runes on his battle armor were now dull and lifeless, no longer glowing with their initial brilliance.

"Hang in there a bit longer. I'm casting a legendary divine spell that will keep you at peak condition."

"Don't panic. I'll add a few more layers of mage shields to help absorb the impact."

"Angelina, can you reinforce your shield spells? Every hit feels like I'm not getting any relief from your shields."

"Without my mage shields, you would have been dead long ago," replied Angelina, the slender legendary mage, with a cold voice.

"Give me one of those shields covering you," Hank Pym said, glancing back at the mage. He saw the giant turtle's spectral image enveloping her and made his demand.

"Impossible. This legendary spell takes too long to cast. In our current situation, I can't use it."

"Damn it, can we defeat this white dragon?"

"Not a chance. My sword strikes can't even penetrate her ice armor, let alone harm her. How are we supposed to kill her?"

"The ice armor regenerates too quickly. It's like fighting hundreds of dragons at once. If we can't break up the white dragon legion below, we can't win."

"Win? Hell, it's a title legion. We'll be lucky to get out of here alive today."

"This white dragon is unusual. There's more to her than meets the eye."

"Of course, it's obvious. A title legion isn't something a native legendary white dragon could train."

"We can't win this fight. We need to retreat and come up with a new plan."

"The space around us is locked. We can't break through, and the sky is sealed by this magical formation. We were too overconfident, barging into this legendary white dragon's lair without a second thought."

"Who knew she had a title legion and knew how to set up legendary formations? This isn't what a normal white dragon is capable of. Where did this monster come from?"

"So what now? We can't just sit here and wait to die fighting these white dragons!"

"Stall for time. I'll see if I can break this formation and create an escape route."

"How long will it take?"

"As long as you can hold out, the better."

"Alright!" Gritting his teeth, Hank Pym prepared to endure another round of attacks. There was no escape for him, so he had to keep fighting.

"Use all your secret spells, divine arts, and martial techniques. Whatever has the most power, use it to distract the Frost Queen. If she keeps hitting me like this, my body will give out. Give me some breathing room."

This was a one-sided battle. Claudia had shown her full hand right from the start, pressing the seven legends so hard they couldn't move, intent on wiping them out in one fell swoop. Her methods were brutal and unforgiving since they had come to kill her.

"If nothing unexpected happens, these seven legends are doomed," Muria observed as he watched the legendary assassin desperately leap and roll over the massive ice dragon's body, slashing with his dagger to draw Claudia's attention.

"Muria!" "Your Highness Muria!" Upon hearing Muria's grim conclusion, the ancient green dragon remained unfazed, but the demon-hunting knight Ryan and the silver moon elf Hesser both looked alarmed.

"Don't worry. As long as I'm here, they won't die," Muria reassured, glancing at the two anxious figures. "Claudia's enemies are my enemies. I won't let them die so easily."

Ryan's lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but he remained silent in the end. Being alive as living energy sources was better than being dead. As long as they lived, there was hope for their release.

...

"Can you seal and imprison them?" Claudia, who was controlling the ice dragon's colossal body through the power of the legion, was relishing the sensation of wielding such immense strength when she heard a familiar voice echo in her mind. This brief distraction caused her manipulation of the ice dragon to falter slightly.

In that fleeting moment, the battle-hardened legends like the sword master and the elven archer immediately exploited the opening. Their powerful techniques flared with dazzling brilliance, outshining even the sun hanging high in the sky. Although in this subcontinent, the sun always appeared white and lacked warmth.

"Boom!" "Crash!" ... Shards of shattered ice scattered in all directions, and deep, horrifying gashes appeared on Claudia's ice dragon body.

However, Claudia seemed unfazed by these damages. They were just losses of some foreign ice elements, which she could easily replenish. In a few brief moments, the crisscrossing gashes vanished, and even the lingering legendary energy was forcibly erased. These attacks couldn't hinder Claudia in the slightest.

Despite restoring the ice dragon body, Claudia didn't intensify her attacks on the legends. Instead, she diverted half of her mental energy to locate the source of the recent soul transmission.

"Why are you getting distracted looking for me? Focus on the battle and capture those legends alive. Don't let any of them escape," the familiar voice spoke again. Claudia quickly identified the source – the four spectators standing on a nearby glacier.

"Muria, it's been a long time," Claudia's voice, filled with complex emotions, resonated in his mind. Her spirit connected with the black-haired, golden-eyed youth, recognizing his familiar aura and the same unfathomable presence from his childhood. Claudia's voice carried a mix of nostalgia and surprise.

Even with the power of three hundred white dragons boosting her, Claudia still couldn't see through Muria. This indicated that Muria, the one who had changed her destiny, had also reached the legendary level, and in this state, she wasn't sure if she could beat him.

"If you want to chat, we can catch up later. For now, capture these seven legends. Can you handle it?" Muria noticed Claudia's apparent desire to continue their conversation and felt a bit exasperated. This young dragon was being overly dramatic.

"Capture them alive? That's quite difficult," Claudia's massive ice dragon opened its mouth, releasing a torrent of cold air like a surging river. "Can't I just kill them directly?"

"I need them alive," Muria replied succinctly. "Can you do it? If not, I'll help you."

"No need. Just stay there and watch," Claudia immediately refused Muria's assistance without hesitation.
